    We Love You! Your an awesome teacher! All though I'm a skin care formulator, I come here for the friendly atmosphere and caring teaching! This is one of the best places to come for newbies making anything soap, bath or skin care. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect. That's because of you caring about everyone who formulates products for skin and hair. You make everybody feel welcome and don't allow nonsense in the comment section! Everyone has feelings and wants to succeed in this business, and we all help each other! Yeah!
    There just aren't enough safe channels out there, where noone is allowed to pick on the newbies. However, this is the place for kindness, caring and helpful information for everyone. Rather you've been a maker for a long time, you just started, or thinking of starting your own business.
    Thanks Chantine for always having great informative videos with tons of information and love! Have a great weekend!°°

    OH NOOOOOOOO!
    I follow you, not because I make soap, but because of the non-soapy things you make, and because of your very unique personality, and the great teacher you are. When I received your email announcing the re-opening of your shop, I said to myself, "hey, that's a way I can thank her for all of the non-soapy recipes you have shared", so I purchased a bar of the "Grey's Lexie" soap.
    I've only used a bar of "homemade/handmade soap" once, and I wasn't impressed....AT ALL! The lather felt "weird" on my skin. But, BAAAAABAAAY, I just used your soap on my hands, and...OMG!! The lather is the most smoothest, creamiest and DECADENT that I have EVER experienced!
    You are going to make me do something I said I would NEVER do...learn how to make soap! 😭😭😭 PLEASE direct me to the video(s) that will school me on making this particular AWESOME soap!

    • @MrsSoapAndClay
      @MrsSoapAndClay  2 года назад +1

      A Lexie without a McSteamy?!?! Impossible! 😂 There’s a a Grey’s Anatomy playlist that has the making of the Lexie bar on the channel, but I’m reasonably sure I just used my big bubble oil blend for all of the Grey’s soaps.

    I would add Amla and Fenugreek to the water to create a tea base for the deep conditioner. I would swap it out for oils and different butters that would not weigh down my curly hair.

    Hello Mrs Soap and Clay! I super enjoy watching all your Utube tutorials, and have gotten such valuable advice for making, well, All the soapy things!! I asked my hubby what lotion he would ever use , and he said only time he has ever was O’Keef’s hard working hands cream in the green tub. So I decided to make this for a better exchange of ingredients, that actually help heal too! My problem: I used .6 of nettle POWDER, that’s a lotta lotta green powder on this batch. (I sorta missed the nettle OIL ingredient words?!) so it’s green. And I scented with peppermint and rosemary, which fits the color well. It’s a little gritty-ish but I’m ok with that. My other problem, it foamed a lot with the mixing, I did 3 different mixes for 2 minutes, and spritzed each time with alcohol, and even after the pour, spritzed each container. Left it overnight to cool, and this morning it’s got a dry film on top. Any advice on how to avoid the dry film? Love this lotions feel, and it healed my chapped hands overnight!!!! I’m in love with your stuff, and I want to say a huge thank you for sharing your experiences and helpful advice. It’s people like you who save people like me so so much time and wasted effort in our own learning journey. So thanks again ❤

    What did you do for the bug bites to stop the itch? A bentonite clay? If you take lots of garlic as a supplement and wear essential oils- the bugs won’t bite you. I use it for my pets and myself and noticed people around us got bug bites but we didn’t.

    This so amazing!! Both the cream and the news. Do you need an extra pair of hands? Unfortunately I'm in AL, but for you, I'd mail them to you and long as you send them back (of course I would send the return label). Anything you need, I'm girl....or should I say your old woman. Your news was amazing birthday present yesterday, affirmation that life goes on. It has been a remarkably shitty past 4 months. On St Paddys Day my baby brother passed away, which my hit my 80 year old Dad like a freight train. Daddy had already lost the use of his lower body, so my sister and I were providing 24/7 care and trying to operate a new soap business in his garage. Dad fell into a major depression that finally took his life on the 4th of July (I know, what is with my men and holidays...lol). With trying to deal with the aftermath we are desperately trying to revive a very neglected soap business. We lost the spring and part of the summer market season and with trying to get ready for the holiday season sometimes things get overwhelming. But there have been some huge bright spots. My son and his wife are buying Grampa's house: the house needs young people and life. Also my sister/partner came out a week after Dad died, then proposed to her girlfriend she kept secret for almost 7 years and now we are preparing for an October wedding! Your channel has become my nightly ritual, my escape, my inspiration, my teacher and a piece of genuine honesty and emotion in sometimes muddled every life. You keep on doing you, and will have your back. Much Love, Chelle (pronounced Shelley) LinBeaux Artisan
