it's a bit unfair to compare two different switches... maybe in the future you can compare the same switches, especially when comparing the sounds.

K8 and K8 pro. whats the difference?
QMK/VIA support is the biggest difference. I would literally never even look at a keyboard without QMK/VIA any more. It is just way to convenient and lets you make your keyboard work for you instead of having to learn how to work around your keyboard.
I’m interested in the k2 pro, I don’t really mind the spacing of the keys and I am used to a 60 precent keyboard I am only worried about keycaps, if I buy the keyboard I’ll get new keycaps just not sure if a normal set will fit them can anyone help me?
A bit late, but if anyone find this helpful. I had the K8, bought a K8 Pro and sold my K8 afterwards, but had some time to compare. The K8 with the Gateron Brown switches is a lot louder and it sounds 'scratchy' loud compared to the pro. The K8 Pro keys do not 'move' or wobble as much the K8 and have a deeper thockier sound, because of the silicone pad and foam added to it. Overall the Pro series seems like a good upgrade over the 8, not as loud and much nicer sound.
