We are seeing more and more artists adopting fountain pens for sketching! They give such nice line quality and allow you to use a wide range of inks with a piston converter. We love the feather ferrule quill brushes, too! Very nice!

you have been very beautiful. The same thing happens to me, I like black ink so much that it's hard for me to innovate, but the truth is that it looks great in brown, it adds softness to the drawing as a whole... I have blue with the idea of trying it and seeing what comes out 😅 The references are great, I keep them. Thanks for the input.

Thank you, I find spritzing with water a bit hard to control, especially if it’s on student grade watercolor paper, it might work if you are careful, or you can rewet certain areas with a wet brush too😊

how long do you usually wait for noodlers ink to dry before putting on the paint?
Thank you! I wait at least 5min but sometimes I just take a break of around 15mins
Beautiful painting as always. How do you like the hot press paper vs the cold press for this type of sketch?
Hot press is nice for linework, it’s easier to draw because it’s smoother. Cold press is good for more watercolor focused pieces☺️

What brush do you use to appy the water in prep for WOW technique?
I used a size 7 nylon mop brush to apply water, I linked it as Art Brush China in the description 🤗

Thank you! I use waterproof or water resistant ink and let it dry before applying water 😊

Sure, use any fountain pen you like 👌👌
is the watercolor using is holbein? How come it looks like a dry pallet paint
I squeezed the paint from Holbein watercolor tubes into paint pans and let them dry ☺️you can check out my review on these Holbein paints in another video.
