It is so important to not compare yourself with others in any respect. I was not a great reader as a child and still read slower than a lot of adults. Just remember how far you have come in a skill.
If you like wetting the paper and would like to work on a flat surface, you can “stretch” the paper (wetting and taping down with specific tape) or you can buy paper in blocks. Best to you 🌸

I appreciate when you mention when you’ve waited for the paint to dry before starting again. Often times I’m continuing to paint when I should have stopped to allow things to dry. I get too excited to keep painting and finish.

I have the same trestle table. You will find it helpful to place 4 strips of hardwood strips beneath the table top across the trestle to prevent the desktop from warping/sagging. Keeps the top flat

I don’t mind a bit of paper warping, and this paper really flattens well after it dries completely ☺️
U make painting with watercolour so easy. Im a beginner and still struggling with watercolour.
It’s hard at the beginning but just have fun and keep painting and you will get better in no time 🤗🍀

I use a hp stand and iPhone for recording for now. I’m using Holbein watercolours in this, which I bought in tubes and made the half pans myself 😄❤️
