My dear brother Paul and I camped on Pen Y Gadair Fawr in 2010 in May. Come morning there were flurries of snow. Yeah, it was cold. A nice fresh one up there Roger. Sometimes camps are about meditation, fresh air, and not the views. You got some of the former. All the best. Mark
Another nice watch mate. There’s a nice little spot around 100 yards south east of the summit with a nice view over hatterall ridge. Not that you would have had a view 😂
Its been a rubbish summer so far hasn't it Roger. I had a flying visit to the Brecon Beacons last week for a walk round Craig Cerrig Gleisiad and Fan Frynych. Although it was cloudy, it wasn't anything like as clagged up as you had.
Tidy pitch there! I still can't get mine like that and find it keeps flapping in my face once thr winds get above 15mph or so. Hopefully we will see summer soon and the need for a 4 season tent all year long won't ne as necessary!
I've been using the "diagonal pitch" method and it seem to work. You need to have a groundsheet or the inner attached to use it. I peg out the two corners with the short connections to the inner and then the other two corners to get even tension on the two sides. It's on RUclips somewhere. Agree about the weather - hopeless lately!
Clag city Rodger nice to get out this mate 🏔️👌🏻
Always enjoy the chat 🤠👍

Thanks Simon. Good to get out and relax even without the views. ATB Roger

Hills are definitely my "safe space" - always feel better up there. Thanks for watching Mark.
@@thewanderingforester I can see that Roger. A pleasure.
Even with the clouds looked awesome. Not sure if I'm a fan of chickpeas or not but looked amazing to get away
Are you a humus eater? Yes, good to get out. ATB
@@thewanderingforester don't mind humus actually

Cheers Darren. That's the last two camps in clag now. Maybe camping with you has jinxed me😂!

I saw your video earlier today, it's amazing how few people there are on that side of the road. Thanks for watching.
Nice hike 👍

Roger, what are those breakfast waffles called?
Hi Trudy. They are called "Stroopwafels". We buy them in Tesco's
