Nice weather and nice views too but is is so annoying when you loose footage, something I have done more than once! Well you certainly found solitude and solitude with a great view too and I remember seeing Pink Floyd at Newcastle City Hall in the early 70s. When the sun did arrive, it arrived with a bang, so a very productive camp I would say, cheers Alan
Thanks Alan. That trip was just what I needed after a hectic time (nowt bad - just busy!). I last saw Pink Floyd at Knebworth 1975, we got the full "Dark Side" and the first performance of tracks from "Animals" and "Wish you were here". Happy days! Thanks for watching, ATB, Roger
Finding solitude is certainly a marvelous thing!! Can really alter a person's mind...for the better. Peace...isn't that something all of us are in pursuit of.
One of my favourite spots just the other side of the trig point 👌🏻. It’s worth coming from the west through Herbert’s quarry along the Beacons Way. Some lovely history
Nice one Roger! How’s lovely Linda? Those views!!! 😍 wowzers, I need to get my ar$e up there once my back is sorted! Mmm meatballs and pasta is my fave Steak Detective meal! Love it! What a beautiful morning, just beautiful! Thanks for sharing lovely! Xx
Thanks John. As well as the claggy camps recently life had been a bit cluttered leading up to this trip. Felt good to just sit and look at the view for a while. ATB, Roger
A nice, easy watch, Roger. That sunrise was beautiful. I've been fancying a camp at this spot for a few years now, but I've yet to do so. It's a beautiful spot. When I walked the B.W my heart sank when I realised I had to make that descent just to do an ascent straight back up, it was a tough climb too. I'd skip straight across and don't tell anyone 😉
@@thewanderingforester Looks really nice. I'm going to check it out next years. Drove through Wales and I though it was really cool. I didn't have time to do any real exploring. Thank you.

It certainly is. Precious little of it around sometimes! Thanks for watching.

I'll be coming from the west in a few weeks attempting the Beacons Way. ATB, Roger
@@thewanderingforester looking forward to watching that. I’m hoping to do it either later this year or next 🤞🏻
Beautiful place
Yes it is. I think I'll go back later in the year when hopefully the air is a bit clearer to the west. ATB, Roger

Linda's fine thanks, she'll be out with me again soon. Yeah - proper meatballs in a camping meal, not to be sneezed at. ATB, Roger
Beautiful Roger, you were due a lovely chilled one I think.

Cracking video again. Itchy feet here! Did you park down by the big car park for this route?
Thanks Lloyd. I parked in the layby where the guys park for the Mach Loop watching the planes going by. it's at SH 753 136.
Very nice Roger and such beautiful hills, give me a shout if you want some company for a couple of nights.👍
Thanks Dave. Will do.
Where is Brecon Beacons?
Asking for a friend

Thank you.
I want to know while you were there what the situation is at night?
Can you see stars ? Is it really dark sky area ?
Please advise
and thanks
When I was there it was almost a full moon so not good stargazing weather. But yes, it's part of the dark sky area of the Brecon Beacons.
@thewanderingforester
Appreciate your reply
I am planning to visit the area in mid-September
Where did you park mate for this.?
Hi Bernard, I parked at SN 79954 23827, car park at the end of the road past Llandeusant.
@@thewanderingforester cheers mate 👍
No problem. It does get busy so early start recommended.
Hi Roger, we're you out in the BB with the misses on Saturday 13th by chance, in the Xmid 2p?
