There are so many RUclips “design influencers”, who, when creating a video like this, would need to go searching for images and clips to illustrate their commentary. You have all your own. That’s pretty cool.
Such great tips, Christina. Thank you. I saw those curtains on Amazon(in your dining room) and wondered what they were like. It's nice to see them in "real" life. They're going on the wish list! 😃
Hi Christena, I love the fact that you use colour! Especially what I call “sea” colours, teal, turquoise, greens etc, it’s so gorgeous to me. I’m not a fan of the beige brigade, I mean it looks lovely in some homes, but it’s got NO personality! 😂 loving cosy vibes. 💚🩵🩶✨🖐🏻🇬🇧
Hi Christina, thanks for sharing your ideas, your home looks so welcoming and cozy. 😊 I am wondering where you got those remote lightbulbs for your wall sconces?
Who knew that 7 decades of living would provide most of these hacks in my home? May I suggest that your followers visit family and friends and "cherry pick" the design *ideas* they most like on any particular theme? But maybe Grandma is looking for a new home for some of her things and would gladly gift to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, or nieces and nephews! Many of my items came to me when my parents died young and I was trying to establish my first apartment.
All great tips, as usual! ADVISE Please - I would like to put 2 sets of sconces in my living room. Above the sofa, I have a vertical antique mirror with brass candle sconces on each side. This wall/area is very dark. I have an end table with a lamp but ....my cat has knocked it down enough times that I need an alternative. I found brass, plug in lamp, sconces on Amazon, they use dimmable light bulbs. I will be putting them in place of the candle scones. Question - thinking the candle sconces can be moved, to each side of a large clock, that's above the TV, on the adjacent wall? I found battery operated candles to use in them. Do you, or any of the followers, think it would be too much? Thank you!
I really wanna host Christmas dinner this year for my family, but I do not have a lot of space in my home. My dining room is very small. I can absolutely rent tables and chairs. But do you have any suggestions on how I could sit everyone a Christmas dinner in a smaller space. It would be about 15 to 20 people
Great question! Benches instead of chairs can help seat more people around a table. I've also hosted dinners where I welcome some guests to eat in the living room at the coffee table if we don't have enough room at the dining table.

Thank you! 🩷 Yes, I've been doing DIY, design & decor (and documenting it) for a long time!
That Nordic cabin candle is absolutely wonderful. I use mine often while I work.

Great tips.
Where did you get your black and white floral curtains from that are in your kitchen? Plus matching pillow on the bench?!! Love!❤
Thank you! I made them myself with fabric from onlinefabricstore.net a few years ago.
I was wondering too, they are lovely!

Sounds lovely to me. I don't think it would be too much!❤
I think the sconces sound subtle enough that they would work!

The bed looks beautiful, but too time-consuming to be done daily....for me anyway. Then removing it all at bedtime...lol
