Oh! How I wish your video was here and saw them 2 yrs. ago. I landed on a gift wrapping project last year and received some funds to purchase some materials and get creative. I sure will watch your video at least once a year. They are really creative, even innovative. Thank you for this great video. ❤
All your ideas look so gorgeous, I especially love the first one where you created the folds in the wrapping paper so you can put Christmas greenery and a gift card into them, and the gift bag you made out of black and white gingham fabric with the black ribbon. WOW! Thank you so much for making this video. Merry Christmas from Amanda in Melbourne, Australia ❤
This is the first video I've seen of yours, and you've made me a fan. It looks really nice, but in a way normal people can do in real life. I LOVE that you reuse things and find creative ways to do things that don't cost too much for the average person. I'm a pretty good gift wrapper, but I've never seen your pleated technique. It's lovely! I also noticed that the wine bottle yarn was the tail end of what looked like a crochet scarf. Props! The only thing I will say is that I was a Barista at Starbucks, and normally the coffee syrup is for espresso drinks. It's the flavor, espresso, and steamed/frothed milk. If the holiday beans were for an iced cold brew, that can be sweetened with vanilla simple syrup. Starbucks uses the basic classic.. (sugar and water), but vanilla is a good substitute. So for a coffee lover, I'd pair the syrup with espresso beans or add a cheap cold brew system and milk frother for vanilla cold foam. Just a thought.
So many lovely ideas. Thank you. I want to share one thing I have started doing with my scraps of wrapping paper. I “stitch” them together with a glue stick, like sewing scraps of fabric together, until I have a new piece large enough to cover a gift.
Beautiful and very creative. Well done and A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU and YOURS! Edit = For those wanting to do the wine bottle wrap (timeline about 18.21) it can also be done with paper. Size - Length as shown/positioned + Width of bottle + 7" on each side + Secure with choice of fastener around bottle neck.
Love these ideas!! Subbed for even more of your DYI ideas.😀 And Bonus. You are a fellow Canadian so I've heard of all the stores you refer to and can actually get the materials needed. YES
I find glue stick far better than tape and with c’snoops’ in the house, have never had any peaking going on as I did using tape 😊 Great video I have always enjoyed creative wrapping techniques, thanks for sharing ❤ Happy Holidays to you ❤
We never had any “peaking” going on as only gifts that were for people outside of our immediate family were placed under the tree. Gifts for each other did not come out until Christmas Eve.
WOW! Loved all the ideas. So much nicer than using only gift bags.
So happy you liked the ideas!
That is the only gift wrapping video we will ever need, so awesome.
Wow, thanks for watching! 🩷

33:21 a tip. When you tie your pompon leave the two ends of the yarn long so you can tie the pompon to your gift yard/ribbon.

You desecrated Bach!
Why not cover the whole tube with wrapping paper first? Looks a lot nicer than cardboard showing. Just a thought.
You sure can!
❤️🎄❤️
1:30 - Thank you for the amazing ideas! May I know where you purchased the faux greenery stems and collection from?
Very nice, but Is there a way to wrap without putting tape on the actual gift?
I used to enjoy rapping tho now it stress full now as my cat will just turn up and think it play time 😂

Your stuff is beautiful but you go way too fast with your explanations
NEVER tape to the item being wrapped.
