Thanks for this video of how to disassemble and replace various items on the Kitchenaid Electric Downdraft Cooktop. I needed to replace one of the switches and this was one of the few instructional videos that provided an example of doing so with the downdraft cooktop.
We get a huge draft from the vent. How do you folks cover up vent when not in use. I have a couple pieces of tile over the top of vent for now, but you would think there would be something made for this.
