    Way to go! Thank you for posting this! Hubby and I have two 2023 Can Am Spyders and bought the Baja Ron sway bars for installation. After watching your video, we feel confident enough to do this ourselves! The fact that you took time to point out everything and add a list of tools is very helpful. Now looking forward to doing this to our trikes this weekend. High five!

    Thank you so much for this! I followed it step by step and didn’t even need the directions in the box. Easy Peasy! Installed the Baja Ron sway bar and a Pedal Box. All I can say is you BETTER be holding on! This thing is a rocket ship now wow😮!
    Here’s how I lifted my F3T…I have a Craftsman motorcycle jack. I had to put 2x4s down in front and drive up on them so I could get the jack under the frame as far front as I could. You do this so the back wheel stays in the ground. Then jack up a good bit and get the jack stands setup under the front arms. Lower the Spyder down onto the jack stands. Drop the jack down even farther then, so I could put 2 ft piece of 4x4 post on top of you jack arms. Now take it up as high as the jack will go and you should be a bit above you jack stand max to put them back under the arms at max height. Then lower her down on to the maxed out jack stands and get to work! This gave me the extra few inches I needed.

    Secure install, I installed one myself last week, I saw one issue, the lower bolts are best to be installed facing outwards, reason being, the bolt (the shank) is super snug when going through the Baja Ron spacers, when installed correctly the shank goes through the sway bar then enters the spacers, the spacers just slides right on, also the bolts facing inwards is really close to the under fairing and could damage them. The instruction did show to face the bolts outwards. Initially I wanted to do what you did but realized otherwise. The installation is secure so the rider would be safe, nothing to be concerned from that perspective. I enjoyed watching..

    Just put it on my 23 RT limited today. Took about one hour. Good video just one point or recommendation. I removed the rear skid plate as well, its just 4 push pins and it made getting to the nut on the left side holding the old bushing soooo much simplier. I like the handeling while cornoring. It feels so much more solid than the factory bar. My Only regtet is I wish I had ordered the heavier bar that is offered its not that much more expensive but the standard Baja Ron bar and end links is still head and shoulders above stock. Even on a stright run the steering feels a bit more responsive. I used one 10mm wrench and socket and one 13 mm wrench and socket. I also removed the t30 screw holding the fwd skid plates so I could get them completely out of the way. Happy riding and keep your knees in the breeze!

    Just installed my new sway bar. I totally removed the two front splash plates. With my luck, I’d have busted them off somewhere along the way had I left them hanging by the T30 screws. Because I don’t have “little girlie fingers”, I also pulled two push pins on that plastic piece to allow it to swing down, providing more room for my short, fat little phalanges to reach up on the “icky side”. As I had hoped, this video made the install go smoothly once I figured out how to best elevate the front end.

    Today I fitted a BajaRon sway bar to my 2020 RT Ltd.
    I watched your video last night which helped immensely, especially your tip of using superglue on those small washers on the end links.
    I’m in Victoria Australia and unfortunately the condition of our country roads has deteriorated in recent years.
    I’m hoping the new sway bar will make the ride less of a wrestling match when encountering some of our crappy roads.

Your explanations were great - as was the camera work - and will save time & money. Riding season is drawing to a close here in eastern Washington, so I hope to get ‘er done and test it out this week. Thank you so much for, IMO, the best description of the installation process on RUclips. After getting my sway bar (not sure why they don’t call it an ANTI-sway bar…), I took Jean-Luc out for a spin. I am blessed with many twisty roads in our area, so I had great opportunities to test out the Baja Ron’s. First thing I noticed was how planted my 3-wheeled starship felt just turning corners in the neighborhood. On the windy roads leading into town there was a HUGE difference in how it handled in the curves. Heading back home again (isn’t that a John Denver song?), I practiced lane changes on a straight stretch when there was no oncoming traffic. Very responsive! Sooooo….my advice to anyone even slightly considering the Baja Ron sway (or anti-sway) bars is to go for it! Although the install can go quickly, take your time, watch this video (twice if you have to like I did) and you will be satisfied by not only a far better riding experience, but in the satisfaction of knowing you did the job yourself. You can do it….even if you don’t have “little girlie fingers”!

    A fabulous tutorial. My wife rydes a '17 F3S and complains about the handling being "loose." Mechanically, the install will be a breeze. What I learned the most is how to get the beast up to the right height to remove/install the bar. Kudos to you! Told my wife about your channel so she can subscribe.

    Oops, forgot. If you see this, what did you use on your lift to match the angle of the tilt of the Spyder? I would not want all the weight on one end of the lift. Hope this makes sense.
    Update: Installed the new sway bar. Chyanna says the ryde is more planted and there is less weaving and bobbing. She only rode a few miles but came home with a smile!
    Thanks again, Beth, for a great tutorial.

    Hello Beth I wanted to let you know the board at my condo allowed me yesterday to have the integrated cover for the ryker but not a full cover . So the windshield, handlebars and seat will be what is covered. So I will see how the bike holds out in the sun. I tried to order the back to black product you used but Amazon did not have it in stock at the time I looked so I ordered the VRP back to black it is supposed to also have ultra violet light protection. Are there any other products you can recommend that is safe for the bike that will protect it from the sun like maybe a wax. Love your videos and the one you did with the Linq cooler was very helpful because when I got the bike used it came with that cooler and now I understand how to remove the cooler and what kind of plate is used and I did not even know my bike came with the max mount until I say your video I thought the plate I saw on top was in place of the max mount so now I know I have a ram mount also. Keep the wonderful videos coming and thank you for being such a big help to the ryker community. Over time I will do a video on how the ryker plastic holds up without being covered I never saw a video that talks about that and this could help other people who are in my situation who are not allowed to cover their back and do not want to pay a high monthly fee to store it at a storage unit. I found it a pain anyway having to drive my car somewhere to be able to drive my bike I just want to walk outside the condo and get on the bike and not have to drive to it.

      Thank so much for your kind words. I am glad you got to cover your bike, at least partially. Some condo rules, just don't make sense to me. I would try to fight it. As for products to use on your Ryker, Back to Black is my favorite. Just be sure anything you buy, is safe to use on plastics. I would recommend getting a wrap for your bike (AMRracing.com), that is the best way to protect your bike and keep it looking awesome (wrap won't fade in the sun). If you decide to go that way, watch my wrap video for a coupon code. Keep me posted! Ryde safe!

    I do have one more question I noticed the ones that you are using are adjustable Pierre from Ontario has it's given the same set but his aren't looking like the plastic but they're Not adjustable would that make a difference And it's the same price. Another words would I need to adjust them. Or worry about them getting loose His aluminum ones are one piece. There is no adjustment

    • @RykerRydes
      @RykerRydes  2 года назад

      I’m not sure about other brands, but the Baja Ron ones are NOT adjustable.

    Hi there ... Thanks for this video. Did the byke feel stable when fully lifted with the HF lift? Did you not use the 2" extension pads for extra height? I'd certainly also use tall jack stands up front. Thanks for any info..

    • @RykerRydes
      @RykerRydes  10 месяцев назад

      I felt the bike was pretty stable. But everyone has a different comfort level. Using tall jack stands is definitely the best option.

    • @RykerRydes
      @RykerRydes  2 года назад

      Absolutely that is an option. On my Etsy page I sell the whole kit as well as just the links. The links make a big difference, but the entire sway bar + links makes a huge difference. Hope that helps.

    • @spyderlyf3
      @spyderlyf3 2 года назад

      You can take out the play from the plastic end links ,but the overall tension in the bajaron swaybar is higher and they takes a lot of sway and makes the byke really handle better.
