No anxiety about dropping or scratching the bike, thrash it n smash it about, use it and abuse it .. but most of all - have lots of fun doing it!! I’ve got a bmw 1200. I’ve had it off road some. Not much. It’s an amazing cruising bike and I love it. It’s just not what I want for off-road or even a dual sport, I wanted it to be that originally though. It looks about the same size as yours, it may be bigger I’m not very familiar with the Harley you have. My post is to say I bought an older Ktm Dirtbike a few years ago and it changed my perspective on off-road riding. I don’t even like messing with my bmw off-road now it’s just super heavy and slow and unstable due to it being close to 500 lb with just fuel and no gear or luggage. It’s made for the road and very mild gravel or dirt roads. Not trails. The dirt bike it’s amazing. I’ve went down on it too but it’s just fun to ride. And fairly indestructible with drops and what not. I say have a bike for the road. And a bike for the dirt. Their isn’t really a bike that does what I want. But there are two and I have them now.

    • @gregatized
      @gregatized  9 месяцев назад

      That’s why everyone needs multiple motorcycles! I also play with dirtbikes, but there is something rewarding about riding the big bikes in the woods! I’d love to try a BMW 1200 sometime though, I hear they are amazing machines.

    Awesome review! Bought myself a 2024 after having had a few traditional Harleys. I LOVE this bike.
    I see in a short clip you are doing a wheelie, which I want to actively avoid. lol. If I do a launch to dick around with friends in an impromptu drag race, will the traction control keep the front tire completely on the ground or does it bring it up a little bit like the BMW's do?

    • @gregatized
      @gregatized  3 месяца назад

      Thanks! I don’t think I’ve ever had the front end lift on this bike without purposely trying. Pretty sure the long wheelbase helps with that. I can tell you traction control kills the party very quickly though! I’ve tried popping wheelies with it on and it immediately slams the front end back down
