I always liked Kevin's voice especially up to the double live REO album "You get what you play for" from 1977. I was very disappointed when original bassist and founding member the late Gregg Philbin was replaced. He grooved and filled on the bass much better than his replacement but hey, when you're going for the money, you can't allow too much expression and creativity happening especially on the bass! Just my opinion but I do like early REO!
I went to see REO Speedwagon in concert May 1st in Wichita Falls Texas they put on a great show I loved it!!!!!!!! I got VIP tickets which I paid almost $600 but very disappointed because I didn't get my goodie bag or my REO Speedwagon shirts I was really disappointed I wanted to cry
this guy has a great singing voice. So unique. Part of what makes up that special REO Speedwagon sound.
There's few rock songs I still love to crank up loud in my car, "Roll with the Changes" is one of them. Always did like REO, great band!
