It's a fun game. I admit it's weird you hear all of these songs but some of them when you play along your brain can lock up and you've heard it so many times. I've heard Last Dance many times and I can't remember the words if a gun was to my head. Ghostbusters I knew,
I've loved REO Speedwagon since I was in grade school (I'm 53), and this summer I'm finally going to have the opportunity to see them live in concert for the first time in my life! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
I’ve been listening to REO Speedwagon’s music since I was a kid. Never really get to know the members of the band until now. Kevin Cronin seems like a very kind and interesting person besides his music talent. I love his performance in this show. He’s awesome!❤
I had one grandmother who didn't like Rock N Roll with the exceptions of The Beatles, REO Speedwagon and Credence Clearwater Revival (CCR) . My favorite REO song is Keep On Loving You
It’s kinda crazy that even though he didn’t know the melody to “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” it still sounded pretty damn good. Just goes to show you how talented Kevin is and just how damn good that song is. I remember watching this when it first aired in 2008 and it was my first time ever hearing “ Roll with the Changes” and my introduction to Kevin and I love them both!
I love how Kevin is recreating and singing his own versions of Brass In Pocket, Respect, Angel Of The Morning, and Don't You (Forget About Me). I also loved his versions of Freeze-Frame, Higher Ground, Ghostbusters, and Last Dance. I love REO Speedwagon's music too.
i recorded it from the television when it first aired using a stand alone dvd recorder. i wish i had paid more attention at the time to when there were going to be celebrity appearances on the show to record more of those episodes, but unfortunately i didn't. thanks for watching.
I get him mixed up with the singer of Styx, sometimes, and I got a little excited because Dennis DeYoung is an amazing singer. Kevin is great, but he did sound a bit rough
I agree. I came here after watching the amazing En Vogue’s episode. Actually, I initially thought he was Dennis DeYoung (I get them confused sometimes) and I really wanted to see DeYoung sing. I was expecting Kevin to do better than this, though.
I used to watch Don't Forget The Lyrics all the time. I wished they would bring it back.

Tell Disney Channel, ABC, or FOX to revive it, Nickelodeon revived Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader, Disney should revive it.

26:57 - correction: Mike, not Mark, Reno (from Loverboy). Oops!
I’ve been hoping someone would upload this episode. I’ve been wanting to listen to 11:04 again.
I remember watching this show with Bo Bice and I wish someone would put it on here. He has such an awesome voice.
LAST DANCE GET IT? IT WAS THE ''LAST'' SONG
Where did you find this episode? I want to watch old Don't Forget the Lyrics episodes.
i recorded it from the television when it first aired using a stand alone dvd recorder. i wish i had paid more attention at the time to when there were going to be celebrity appearances on the show to record more of those episodes, but unfortunately i didn't. thanks for watching.
This man has never seen the breakfast club SMH
same here
fun
You should have picked it last REO Speed wagon that is
Is it just me, or does that Roll With The Changes song sound a whole lot like Keep The Fire Burnin’?
Written years apart. Don't sound even close!
The refrain, especially at the end of each song, sounds similar... Keep on Rollin and Keep the Fire Burnin!
The energy is similar. Agree.
I get him mixed up with the singer of Styx, sometimes, and I got a little excited because Dennis DeYoung is an amazing singer. Kevin is great, but he did sound a bit rough

Dang! Kevin sounds terrible singing other people’s songs here.
I agree. I came here after watching the amazing En Vogue’s episode. Actually, I initially thought he was Dennis DeYoung (I get them confused sometimes) and I really wanted to see DeYoung sing. I was expecting Kevin to do better than this, though.
He can't sing on key, WTH??
Can you?
He's changing the melodies, but he's on key.
GKYS.
@@riffhammeron Effortlessly on key, the whole way. Doesn't know a lot of the songs, but when he does, holy cow...Higher Ground was amazing.
