One of the greatest LIVE bands ever -- ESPECIALLY WITH GARY!! -- and they did those dress-in-drag videos. Granted, "Live Every Moment" was concert/backstage footage and the primary "CFTF" video was studio-based. but I found "I Do' Wanna Know" & "One Lonely Night" videos practically unwatchable. Anyone with me??
Agree Chris, Gary brought LIFE to REO, he was the heart & soul, the rock & roll. With you on those videos! So sappy, so not the real REO !! That which you speak of was the beginning of the downfall of REO. Gary was awesome when he rocked REO/SW. He cared so much about the type of music the band put out, as Donna said so well. Unfortunately someone else saw things in a totally different way. A man made a comment that kc thought that all the beauty that came from REO came from him. I just happen to disagree with that. There was much beauty in that band, and it certainly did not come from him. God Bless R&R Star ...
I loved their silly videos! They were a fun loving group of guys that had egg fights on the road, and other crazy fun. I think the two videos you mentioned show their funny side. They weren't serious all the time, or too stiff to have a good time.
