I actually prefer this cover to the original. I wish I had the chance to see them before they recruited Safer on bass. All the Mirror tracks were played totally different with Safer and the weird blonde guy on saxophone.
Back in the limewire days, this song was actually mislabeled as a Mars Volta song, believe it or not. It was literally titled "The Mars Volta - Dumb Waiters". Had me fooled for a few years. Back when high speed internet was still relatively new.
If you first heard this song on Limewire on a weird file claiming this was by The Mars Volta then you have seen some enormous changes in the world, particularly in America...You witnessed our own government in collusion with the "country formerly known as Palestine" murder over 3,000 of our own citizens in NYC, all while the WTC's brand new owner and his immediate family who worked there all became the luckiest people in history, the owner more so than anyone, his name is Larry Silverstein and not only did he not show up to work that morning, but neither did his kids, his son in law, and a few close friends from his synagogue... Larry made 7 billion dollars on a "terrorist insurance" payout that he had the "foresight" to purchase only weeks prior to the staged event....
I remember downloading this off of Limewire many moons ago and it was labeled as a Mars Volta song. Love this cover.
same case here!

They just want to suck you into being one of them...This cover does the original justice..which is one of my top 5 songs of all time...

Shit gets serious around 1:43. This song is epic.

Not bad. Good choice of cover. The furs should hire this drummer. Way better than the one they have on tour with em as of now.
Vito is the best
Ooh Yeah, uhh... mmmmm... Great tune.

No. It's a cover of a psychedelics furs song
