I honestly think the dd6 planner is just another way for them to keep track of items we need the most and make the scarce as always if not worse than normal
I Took LDS and Sabertooth as cheap choices. this helped get me into global faster, but also helped get other sections. IMO the best bet is to do a bit of both worlds. Build MUST haves in each section (Apoc Vahl Kang Robbie Nova Black Cat) and choose cheap choices around them.

Good summary. Ive just finished the apoc saga and the experience is completely different! Went with 2 caps, bucky and sharon to be his cheerleaders. I have 100 alien spores so im genuinely considering Ghost spider, but we'll see. Long ways to go yet!
One big thing to consider with these cheap options is the gold needed to take them to 95. I used Stitcher for DD5 but couldn't justify the gold to go to max level.
I'm in cosmic now, waiting for the gear for city, and absolutely regretting taking Rhulk (he was my first G18 character and then they introduced Secret Defenders not long after).
Your buddy Scottie used Wolverine makes sense. I find LDS is overlooked. She did fantastic for me. That’s based on individual resources. Everyone is different.
I'm in the same boat and she only cost 44 minis and I still use her in raids for now too not counting war so worth it for me. They've been making bio, mystic and mutant gear extremely scarce for me so I had to go BW and LDS just cause they're cheap and skill/tech
I cant bring myself to build Black Widow, shes lvl 9 on my account so im not investing the resources to bring her up would rather use someone like Titania then I'm thinking maybe 2 of the new tech raid toons IMIW/Rescue maybe? I currently have Apoc, Vhal, Kang and the SD all at g18 but the global section has me constantly 2nd guessing what to do...
This is interesting. I have a plethora of salts. I’m very gated by the psionic essences, but a mutant piece has even been worse. Wonder if they “manage” this differently for each account.
Why does no one ever mention how Scopely did us dirty on horsemen in dd6? After apoc, everyone has them at g17 and probably wants to take them to g18. However; dd6 punishes ppl who do that. You have to g18 extra ppl if you bring horsemen.

As soon as Rescue got the rework I ran her to g18 to start global and she's fine. (I have Apocalypse QS and Caps Am and Carter) I would probably have one other Pegasus but didn't want to wait for release and I thought 7ys might compensate for value in raids for a bit.
Beniwestside said, he was very happy with the performance of 2099, especially together with Robbie and also Firestar, he brought in. The 3 together had good synergies. That - for me - replaces 3 piece Spiderwoman with 2 piece 2099. This is furthermore relevant, if Goblin Glider is going to be Bio or Tech/Bio.
I also used these 3 coincidentally and they worked great together

Having the gold bottleneck we have, I do not consider any option because is gear-cheap but an unusable toon. I only consider usable toons in raids, cc or war. For global Apoc, QS, Capt, Agent venom and IFWW2. And I do not regreat any of them. For cosmic, either gamora or phyla for the 5th. The stat increase they'll have will benefit a lot IW which is still very relevant.
What are some good replacements for Big Time? Also if my widow is 80 is she worth bringing up just for DD6?
I enjoyed firestar and too a lesser extent 2099. The bleeds they give off make robbie go crazy and he basically solos. I also used chi. He was passable. My 5th was MMHL she was also just whatever. Helped with the control
How about Nemesis?I got him at 7 reds and t17 ofcourse and all his attacks do % dmg.
Salts is not the bottle neck lol I have 55 while on 16 of the essences. Get those last 6 for Weaver to start global while my cosmic team is pretty much done now too lol
What about Tigra as a pick for global over BW or Mockingbird? She's also 2 pieces and I think could arguably be more important to have gear on than Mockingbird.
One of my alliance-mates has 70 more Psionic Essence than Salts. Insane
waiting for over 2 weeks or so for last 2 pieces of salts for QS.. finally I´ve seen salts in the store, however only 1 unit instead of 2

What about Mr Negative for the city nodes?
They 100% do that and it's different for different players. You can clearly tell by the parity in the drops
Excellent video. My personal experience was that as long as you bring the few “carry” toons for each section, you will clear the nodes just fine, and likely before you are even ready for the next section. The most important thing is getting Super Skrull early - he is the ultimate Swiss Army knife…I am now even using him on Incursion 1.6, which means I use him in every game mode. (One extra thing - Mr. Negative is amazing in city and cheap, if you have somehow managed your mystic gear)

Yea it can be done with baby Apoc! Might take a few resets to make sure you reach your second turn but it’s doable

I had like 80 salts and 0 of the other mystic.
I use quicksilver to be #1 in my arena with apoc kang hardlight and black cat.. so I took him over weaver
Titania provided some utility for me ... and she is cheap

He’s only usable in the very very last section. However the section before requires all legendaries anyway. So technically any horseman character is an additional character leveled

Global is a slog. Apoc is good yea, but SW doesn’t do very much. There’s just too many chars for weaver to be effective and they just constantly heal anyway. I kill one char a day if I’m lucky, I’m on day 15 node 2 with 18 chars left to kill

The only advice I can give is for global and I would really say do not bring Gambit. I did and I regret it.
There will probably be at least 5-10 more teams released before my non spending self can even think about getting into DD6 😂
Then start first with apocalypse because he has to be used , then I would work on legendaries that will still be useful in the end like nova

My first g18 character was red hulk, based off how much you loved him when he was new, so it's kind of disheartening to hear you talking smack about him now :(
