look up the neighbor hood watch programs ESP of you live in LA county. whittier has at least 20 dronessince lax flights are done by 8. and the whole 9pm thing cops are trying. I have about 1200 in repairs out of no where and now spark plugs tnt
My 03 has the same oil cap issue. I little trick that saved me was simply lubing the threads with fresh oil as I’m doing the oil change and when u put the cap back on, stop tightening when it stops. Just make it snug. DONT force it tighter. As u drive the oil pressure will tighten it more. Should be a lot easier to remove with just ur hands next time.

Owned my G for 14 years and never knew this - just tried it on my coupe and... it worked!
cool. I've owned my 2007 since brand new and never knew about test mode. It worked even on my car with push-button start.

I always use vice grips to get my oil cap off and I've never seen the diag mode, I'm definitely gonna try that

I replaced my oil filler cap for an aftermarket aluminum one (ebay special). Problem solved and haven't had this issue since.

1) Is the charcoal canister a lifetime thing? 2) Also an owner before me, on my g35 put a spectre aftermarket air filter but I bought another one not knowing it was washable but I’m not sure how to change it. 3) also my car is making like a squeaking noise after I turn my car off in the front any ideas what that might be? As far as I know my car doesn’t have any engine problems

How many miles you got i put 219 on my maxima 2007 then the 2nd motor to 239 miles i need to do some work on it... average car does not go over 100k miles with the same motor and transmission some dont hit 60k miles

I own a 2006 automatic Coupe custom here's the main thing you need to know which I didn't know the guy I bought this car from put a fiberglass body kit do not put a fiberglass body kit on your car amount of money I've literally spent on his fiberglass to fix it there is a thing now it is I'm not sure what it's called but it's fiberglass and plastic mixed you can get them for the body kids now I'm not sure exactly what that's called supposedly that's what you need so when you get hit it doesn't destroy the whole bumper or frame
Dude can you roll to south Whittier and check how weird my car is. Got stolen and someone stole the fob. Things are different and out of nowhere they are back. Somehow bearing got fixed, but speaker on door is out. Review mirrors are different speakers in em stopping, seats literally move on their own. I drove car on empty lot but on car one fifty feet on right parked. Testing alignment I’m driving no hands aboutb135 it tugs, and slightly rotated right very eerie like and was directly behind only other car. I’m fighting a sexual harassment case worth millions!!! (Sick perverts) so i get heavy harassment and I’m positive app of car readings is sent out ,gps ,seat hacked ( head fits out sunroof) and cement was placed under car and I have lots ofbdirtbbehindbtires. Ran great til last summer. I keep folder of visits to shop or replaces and even washes all transferred into spread sheet. I was gonna mod front bumper to more sleek like Porsche type and enclose rear windows 2 small and roll type rear. Prob take back row and put two drop seats like smaller trucks have. Also my body extends n lowers about and inch

@@JoeVazquez Yeah man, definitely do it! I used to have this problem on my 06 G35 sedan, until I got a billet aluminum Nismo oil fill cap from Z1 Motorsports. The stock plastic cap is literal garbage. Just think about it, a plastic cap in a hot engine bay, it expands and contracts, and that's why it won't come off when you want to add some oil, even if it is snug. I highly recommend the aluminum Nismo oil fill cap, the only MAJOR downside is if you drove your G recently, the cap will be hot and will burn your hand. Just get a towel/rag and you'll be fine.
@Strange Daze Are you talking about the aluminum oil fill cap? If so, yes they are available for Zs and Gs (not sure about Infiniti Qs) and they do work. As long as you don't tighten it down too much, you'll be able to get it off by hand (compared to the garbage plastic cap).

The notches on the oil cap are meant to fit a large wrench to unscrew it. The pressure from driving the car will make the oil cap really hard to remove.
oil cap broke my nail off while trying to add oil in New Mexico last week :( the G made it from Cali to Florida tho!!
that dipstick trick would’ve been nice for the trip, it was giving me false reads and i didn’t know if i should add or remove oil😅 just did a quick change instead in Arkansas and she ran beautifully again

I may be wrong but I think the direction of airflow on the cabin filter should be pointing down because its sucking air from above and into the cabin.

Man my G over heated twice because I didn’t know the fans stopped working on high!! Really wish I would’ve seen this video before that happened, thankfully no damage to the motors and since changing the fans, she’s ran great.

Wow, they went backwards on the G37 on access to the cabin filter! It's now 7 screws and they are much harder to reach! What was infiniti thinking? Many owners ditch the 7th screw that is really hard to reach since even 6 screws is overkill plus you have to remove 2 plastic panels which are easy enough.
Checking out a G35 that I might buy tomorrow. The Diag mode will be helpful in checking some stuff out. Plus, I could ask the guy to hit the brakes for me, but this'll play some mind games with him lol
I having issues with my brakes. I changed the cam prongs and disconnected the battery from the engine. Now when I start the car the brakes don't work. I had to get a tow

Hey, I have the same headlights and i don't know what lights to buy that will fit the low beams you know the larger lower light part. Do I need a conversion kit or can I just get a specific type of lights. It was supposed to be plug and play but that's not the case, lol?

As you probably know FYI the car is a goddamn magnet I've had mine broken into window shattered tootin gone stuff stolen out of it I put a 57 in Wing on mine people tried ripping that off stood on the back of the bumper that's why we're glass so when you park your car make sure it's hidden have a wheel lock on your car or a different steering wheel than what comes on there and you can take it off pretty much every other day I get offers on my car if you know what the car is did he know what the car is and you always freak out when you see one if you don't and people don't care about it and they want to damage your car make sure when you park your car somewhere it is hidden or it's literally way way way away from every single car in the parking lot

Yeah the cap is a bitch to get off I keep a pair of plyers in my truck just for that...in fact I keep a mini tool collection in my G from past encounters lol

I have the same issue with my oil cap I usually just put a microfiber towel over it for more grip and it’ll budge a lot easier
MIne is high magnetically and burns lil more and everything and bolt is hard to undo

Great question! There’s so much stuff that’s not necessarily hidden but that’s more dealership stuff and specialty tools for these cars from Nissan, prodemand is a dealership resource that I use to find torque specs and misc. stuff like this haha

I've got a g35 coupe 2006, ive owned ot for about 9 months and when I first bought the car I bought a key fob for it, ive watched all of the videos on how to get it It to the syncing mode for the remote but for whatever reason my car will not go into the mode to pair to my remote any idea

That's sweet. I just got a 2005 G35 sedan. I'm loving it! I have a question though. My battery seems to have a parasitic draw, I'm pretty sure it's the aftermarket stereo. Anyway do you know if you can still use the info function? ( information for the current conditions of the vehicle) I did not install system, previous owner did.
Im about to check out a 06 g35 stick shift coupe with 77k miles on it, it appears to have a clean title and in extremely good condition, theyre asking for 15k but im not tryna pay more than 12.5k
And another thing is if you wants to switch the headlights out on your car and put better headlights it's a lot of money because you have to actually take off the front bumper and both front Raymond's Nanny have to go under the car so when I got mine done at a shop it was way more than I expected and the people didn't wire it right or the wiring in the car is bad so one of them flicked on and off and I paid almost four hundred something dollars for the lights themselves Plus getting them installed people think it's easy to find modifications for this car it's actually very hard to find and body kits are nearly impossible to find online maybe back in the day was easier but nowadays every time something happens to my car it's almost impossible to find just to keep the doors open the little thing that holds the doors open for the hundred dollars each
My g35 shows a code of P1759 front break solenoid. Car starts strong and isles fine. But won’t go forward when in “drive” etc. any solutions?

Yo that happened to me last month while I was snowing I went to go try to add some oil to my car and have a G35 05 Infiniti that damn cap will not come off to save my soul I was so pissed off I was out there fidgeting with that cap for 30 minutes but all I had to do is go put on some gloves with the rubber grip and turn that b**** like you trying to snatch it off but I had to get mad first
