Wow I’m about to order that. I got a 06 and it only came with the one key that goes in the fob. No fob. Just the metal key piece that goes inside. I didn’t know it was that easy. I’m about to do this. I was going to order the fobs before , just thought I needed to calll the locksmith to program it, this is going to be the easiest fix ever, thanks for this video bro.

Of course! You can also press unlock and lock on your fob so you can turn off the honk or turn it on when you press the lock depending on what you want
I've seen several tutorials that mention remote start. I'm not sure if my car has it and I haven't tried the sequence that is supposed to start the car but I'm going to try it tomorrow. I don't remember but I believe my car came with two keys and two fobs but I didn't get the valet key -- I actually didn't even know the G35 came with a valet key until I saw a dealer doing a video on an 03 G35 sedan with low miles and one owner that still had the valet key in the glove box earlier today. I've had my G35 for over 10 years and just discovered yesterday that the first aid kit is in the rear seat armrest! I've read the owner's manual from cover to cover and most of the tips and tricks I've seen on RUclips are nowhere to be found in the owner's manual.
Finally someone saying if not for the flashers or the hazard when you put in accessory and push the button you said to keep pushing the button on the remote until it does or start over cuz that's the problem I'm having an accessories when I push the button two three times it won't set off the hazard light . Please someone answer me I've been doing research and all it says is how to videos how to videos I know how to do it but the second part of the accessories is not working that's why I'm asking anybody I've been searching on Google I have been searching on RUclips and nothing but how to videos. Please if anybody has an answer thank you. Not sure if it matters or not but I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 coupe
@@christianresendiz3919 You're key has a limit to about 7 resets I ended up having a locksmith resetting it for 50$ if you bring it to them otherwise if they come to you it's obviously cost more like 100 to 150 abouy.So that's qhat it took.Hope this helps you out.
FYI, tested on my '07 coupe before placing an order for replacements and it took only 6 in/outs. Looks like '07 uses different model than what you used. My original one is down to only the lock button working. Thanks for the info!

I have an 05 G35 Sedan with the ugly old fob. I had a local locksmith attempt to program an 07 G35 Sedan style fob and he said it wouldn't take. Is there a difference between the coupe and sedan fobs?? Anyone know if this only works for the coupes?

I know this is a pretty old video but I had a question. My 2005 g35x supports proximity start would this work to program a fob to do that? Or will I have to pay the stealership hundreds for a new fob and to program it. I have the emergency key but no fob and was looking to get one
Proximity is a whole different thing, mines a very basic alarm system before proximity so that’s why I’m able to do a couple things to program it to the car.

Did you buy just one? If you have another one install it and test that one, It could be the fob itself! If your original fob doesn’t do that then its probably a bad fob unfortunately!

So it’s all ready to go! It’s a complete key fob including battery so you just buy it, follow the steps I have, and it’s ready to use. I bought it because I liked how much better it looked, and I needed an extra one in case I forget my keys inside, I could go home and get the key fob you know?
@@sammoe8702 Nope, but I think I know why, so some G35s have whats called a SmartKey, is a add-on that you can get, and my car came with a Nav System and a bunch other stuff, basicly the person that bought the car originally had bought all the addons for the car, including the smart key, the only way I would be able to get it programed is with a locksmith.
Bro I ended up fucking my car up now the turn signals won’t stay on either the blinkers I tried to do the same process and they worked again but once the car turns on it’s back to being fucked up it’s a 05 sedan btw g35

@@JoeVazquez yeah I mean that's what I'm thinking, on the inside of the car when I press the lock button on the door it sounds like it wants to work but rarely actually unlocks the door, I can't for the life of me use the button to lock the doors though so :/ maybe?
@@JoeVazquez and my main key fob doesn't unlock or lock the car either, I've replaced the batteries but still nothing. On the spare key fob, the indicator lights flash and it makes an "unlocking" sound but still doesn't actually do anything hahha the most it's done is set off the alarm

Haha it’s all good bro I get you! So 06-07 has a keyless system but doesn’t mean you don’t have keys in case your battery dies or key fob battery dies. Does your have that little black button by your door handle?
If you don’t have those features than this video will work for you! The key fob on the right is the same as the key fob on the left but it’s just a nicer key fob case and that’s the reason I bought it, also you can program it quick so I show that as well!
Can’t control the variables like people not doing the steps right or them having a smart key and using a regular one that isn’t to program with theirs or them having an underlining problem with their car that they aren’t aware of.

It’s not a smart key like the new ones, it just looks like the new ones but works the same as the old ones and are cheaper than buying from Infiniti!

It doesn’t work on 06-07 since it’s a different key fob from 03-04. 05’s are a gray area if they work or not

I have an 07 g35 with the same fob on the left. The fob youre adding is for a g37, just to be clear....
