Sam, I'm not sure what it is going to sound like in heaven when the angels are singing the praises of the Lord, but I think I finally have a glimpse of it. Blessings on you and your music my friend.
Straight to the heart - the Sam Robson 'choir'
I awoke this day recalling something my late Mom said to me when she was not yet 50 years old and I was 20 something. She'd had a vision of heaven in her sleep and awoke with a joyous feeling like no other. It was “beyond words” to describe -- except for one detail. That the 'floor' at her feet, extending outward was “like a sea of glass.” Coincidentally or not (Mom always said “There ARE no coincidences!”) after noting that the President of the United States had declared this Sunday March 15 to be a 'national day of prayer' I went in search of my favorite hymn, performed 'a capella' by a group of young men in Tennessee (25 years ago). It wasn't there, but in its place, something even more beautiful.
A young singer who looks barely out of his teens - with a fantastic vocal range that includes a deep bass/baritone, made himself into a 'choir' - an angelic one, you may agree. The hymn, HOLY, HOLY, HOLY includes words about a "sea of glass" around the heavenly throne. Mom would have loved this. Ranging from six to 18 voices, the SAM ROBSON 'choir.' Does this do it for you too?

This has been my favorite hymn ever since I was a child. It always brought me comfort and I thought it was simply beautiful. You can imagine my excitement when I saw my favorite acapella singer made a video on it! Love that you're covering hymns, there's so many gorgeous ones out there I feel like don't get the attention they deserve. Keep up the good work!

I am always amazed and awed by your vision and voice. I wish I knew how to turn this on as I get ready for work in the morning-- puts you into the right frame of mind. Thank you for your wonderful gift and for You Tube!!
I think it would be cool to put a number in a corner of each of the singing head frames, to identify its pitch position at the current time, ie the lowest at 1. Your range is insane, and it would be nice to know which head is ridic low vs which one is ridic high,as to maybe glean some aspects of your technique.
+schulmaster it would also elucidate some of the inherent complexity with vocal arrangements this intricate, seeing a 2 and 3 change heads would indicate the voices crossing paths. Anyway, just an idea, that would augment my enjoyment at the very least.

Sam, these hymn arrangements are absolutely incredible. I'm just hoping you're fully on board with the incredible words coming out of your own mouth when you sing them. Regardless of why exactly you sing them, whether for monetary gain, fame, or simply because you are deeply in love with this beautiful King about whom you sing, I rejoice in what you're doing with the talent God gave you, and I personally can't WAIT to do for eternity what you're doing now in these worshipful videos.
