At any rate, let's dive through some first sniff impressions of these mostly new Holiday (and a few Fall) scents. What did you pick up? What are your thoughts on some of these.

I can't wait to hear your reviews of the marshmallow and churro scents. I no longer purchase candles until I hear performance reviews. I think it’s hilarious the difference in your review of Christmas Morning and Brett’s 😂😂😂 he said it’s so boozy he would never have that on Christmas morning! Now obviously their could be a batch variation but it shows you how different we smell things. It sounds good to me and I tend to line up with your nose 👃 so I might take a chance 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
RIGHT? Noses are ALL so different. I literally smell no booze haha! But, watch it come out when its burning lol.
Yes, I but teacher gifts for middle school/high school teachers, but usually just for the teachers my kids connect with… Stella will have a few fav teachers I’m sure and gifts are always appreciated so much by the teachers

On QVC, I bought "The Night Before". I think that it is funny that candles you thought that you would like, you weren't crazy about, and candles you didn't think that you would like, you did.
Right? Honestly that happens quite a bit. Another reason why I should never buy more than one to start with of each scent haha!

I skipped the ornament collection. None of them jumped out at me as ones I had to have. I did grab from qvc Over the River…, tree tops glisten, and the gingerbread one. All of which I’m excited to try in a few months. I also picked up (today) one of the new Harvest Leaves in the lux format. I’m excited and nervous (that’s a whole lotta candle to burn) about getting it and comparing it to one of my older ones.
I’m with you, once my son started middle school I stopped doing teacher gifts.

Berries & Birch looks interesting and I'm on the hunt for Cashmere Birch. Simply Cranberry smells very good. From what I've heard especially from Got Candles channel is that Harry does a great job with gourmand scents. Picking up Hot Cider Donut for example is perfect. You have a good collection; this brand is new to me and I'm excited to try Mulled Berry Cobbler for the first time. Happy Burning Mel. T.J. Maxx has three Christmas scents: Snow Day, Chestnuts Roasting, and Woodland Cabin.
Yes, I too think Harry makes incredible gourmand blends. I think he has always excelled at this particular category for sure. Happy burning to you Scott!

I also hate FedEx, anytime I have a package that's coming on Friday I never get it until Monday every single time. I love UPS they always put my packages on my porch and knock on my door.
I have the exact same problem with fedex always later than the date expected no matter what day it says. I’ve learned to add to what they show because they just pretend it’s going to be on time. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

I find it so funny that you have to explain to people that they don’t have to stay on if they don’t like seeing free stuff I just don’t understand that concept why would anyone care if you get something free or not? You are an ambassador for the company, so of course you were going to get some free items to put out there for review. Anyway, I just had to say that I thought that was funny. Have a good one.
There is an impression out there that when something is sent by a company that someone cannot be objective about the product. However, I can tell you that no company I have EVER worked with has told me what to say, told me I had to like the product or that I couldn't be constructive with my feedback when I don't care for something. I purchase from ALL the companies I work with. In fact, every company I have worked with has reached out to me because I have used their products so they know how my reviews are structured and how I present information. I would not take product from a company who sent along a script. I have money to support this hobby, but is it nice to be able to share even more with everyone? YES, absolutely! And yes, you can be honest. I think the problem is that the people who make the claims of dishonesty don't know how this actually works and I can understand that to a certain degree. However, if someone does not trust my feedback then I would tell them to find another reviewer lol. Not sure why they are sticking around. Anyway, that's my take on the negativity surrounding this. I know many people who also receive PR and they are also 100%. You don't have to be a boisterous boob to provide negative or constructive feedback about something 🤣
I can definitely tail you are fair and impartial which is why your subscribers keep coming back to watch your videos. They are very interesting and informative.
I am waiting on merry marshmallow reviews first! That is the only one i want from that collection.
Just reading through comments made me think the other day i was driving and oulled up behind a feddx driver and the right side of back door to truck was wide open and packagesalmost fell out , my husband jumped out at red light to tell them and they just shut door and never even looked behind them to see if they dropped any etc ! I automatically thought well that's one way they loose stuff ! At my MIL they leave packages in her flowerbed atend of her house which is on a main street , so she had to buy a sign that says to leave at front door with a arrow , since they have been a lil better but i did almost catch one throwing it in there and as soon as he seen me he turned around to go to dpor h instead ! 🙄🙄 They drive me crazyyyyyy !
Yikes. I mean I get the workers are overworked. I do empathize but this is all stuff we spent money on and in some cases, A LOT of money. It can be hard to get things replaced! I just don't like the carelessness.

I have been shopping with QVC since they changed over from CBN, which was many many years ago, and I have never received a coupon from them with as much stuff as I buy there are no rewards or reward program that I know of

Hi, Melanie, speaking of holiday fragrances, do you think your Orange Pomander candle with Kringle will be released this fall??
It should be out closer to the holiday time! I have pretty much everything in to Kringle and I am awaiting a release date. I will absolutely share just as soon as it comes out. I can't wait for it!!!!! I hope everyone loves it as much as I do. Honestly one of the coolest experiences of my life to be able to do this.
I have had the exact same experience with FedEx over the years at 2 different home areas. I’ve had a much better experience with UPS. 👍☘️
I bought two sets of the TSV, Over the river, and Dreaming of a white Christmas. I also had to have the Cranberry Pumpkin Cake a few days ago. 😍😍

Or the suede rose .im new to candles world lol im a scentsy consultant so my house is filled with scentsy items but i see ur channel an i was intrigued with the homeworx candles .so my 1st order is on the way an im wondering what the reviews on the scents i picked are .
Yes, I do have a review of Strawberry Glazed Cupcake up on my channel. Suede rose is new, so I don't on that one.

I love Holiday Wishes! I could have sworn you’ve burned it before. My mistake. I thought you reviewed it in 2021 and said it would compliment Nest Holiday. It came in the pretty iridescent pinkish red vessel. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
So I looked through my videos multiple times to see if I had reviewed it because based on the notes I should have, but I cannot find any video. I always film and review new scents so it should be there. But I absolutely would say that it would compliment Holiday. At any rate, it’s good 🤣
Yes I looked for this one a month ago when it popped up on qvc but didn’t find a review from you or anyone else for that matter! So I never purchased it, maybe I will now.
@@MrKongsMomIt’s killing me lol. I could have my scents mixed up with another Homeworx candle, a live or another reviewer. Maybe even Laura or Harry who suggested burning both during a Christmas party. It’s so good. You’ll totally enjoy it. It came in the ornament as well.

I’m with you on Fed Ex. 90% of the packages I receive that are shipped through them are late. At least 20% are broken. Just a horrible shipping company. Thank you for sharing your candle haul with us.

Personally I watch your candle reviews to help me decide which ones I might enjoy, especially if I have to buy them without being able to sniff them first. I don't care if you bought them, were gifted them, or found them on the side of the road! 😂 And now I know I need Christmas Morning 😋 ULTA has a bunch of recent scents up on their website, but not in stock yet. I'm dying for Deep Dish Apple Pie, but I need it to have a crust note! I'm so glad I passed on the Sugared Apple Churros.

Oh yes and I also ordered one crackling fireside two of the grapefruit and two of the ice-sugared cookies what a beautiful presentation I bought them for gifts and I'm so glad I did!

If you want reed sticks that really throw, try Jo Malone ones. They are pricy, but totally worth it
Unfortunately Jo Malone is not cruelty free so that will be a pass.
I was looking forward to your review of this “bubbles” collection. Does any of them smell similar to his Cranberry Wreath/Garland scent? A lot of these candles had such similar notes

I love coffee scented candles so I’ll be eagerly awaiting that review.
I also love the Merry Marshmallow and Christmas Morning scents!! I am hoping the churro one is stronger when burning. I am waiting to see what other fall things Harry comes out with. I didn't get any of the Halloween scents because I didn't like any of them last year. I prefer gourmand and most of the Halloween are incense heavy along with rotting fruit- not a fan!!! Feel better, I had shingles in May so I can relate!! Thanks for the reviews!!

I got Snow Tipped Pine and Winter’s Eve. The latter has a nice smoky note with a background tree scent. I will pick up Crackling Fireside w/Halloween and Fall order next week. Will use your code!

My absolute favorite and I got all of them was the Merry Marshmallow, and yes I ordered four because I was afraid they were going to run out 😮 I had to burn one and it is so light but I think it just needs curing time also so I put the other three away until Christmas. But it is such a great Gourmand scent 🙂 The only one I didn't get in that collection was Christmas Confetti (now I'm glad) 😂
I stopped buying Homeworx quite awhile ago due to the low strength, but they got me with the good sale. I burned Lemon & Laurel Leaf since it was the oldest pour. It wasn't very strong, so I'm going to try to resist burning the Christmas scents until next year. We normally have different noses, but not this time. I like Berries & Birch and Holiday Wishes. I don't like Christmas Confetti. I agree with you on the labels. They have such beautiful pictures and the white band just messes it up.
