Omg Palo Santo is basically unscented! I honestly think I’m done with this company. I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars and have been Harry’s biggest fan. Don’t get me wrong: I’ve loved the heck out of his earlier candles and they are absolutely favorites! I have so many backups from 2018 and 2019 and thank god I do because since 2020, I’ve had dud after dud. 😢So disappointing! Nobody does a label, a vessel and a blend like HS. No one. I am just tired of the, “well, maybe next season.” Many reviewers have been saying that since 2020. The Hopium is real but I get it…we all want the quality of 2018. I know I do!😢
Absolutely agree with you! I have a decent collection and I’m just burning through them and then I’m done. When a company ignores loyal customer concerns/complaints for 3 years and has no desire to fix the issues I have to say bye. I’m not going to waste my money any longer.
Oh yikes, sad to hear that. I need to light it up still. It smells like its a lighter scent on cold but I figured palo santo is intended to be that way since its kind of a typical spa type scent. That being said I would love to see things the way they were in 2018 and 19. I am not sure we can get all the way back there, at least not with this current factory set up. He must have a contract or something that potentially keeps him where he is at but I would think that there could be an out if the product is not being produced to specification. I'm sure what he sends are probably great blends but the end result of the production cannot be what Harry intended. I would love to be a fly on the wall to know all the ins and outs, but I'm not sure HomeWorx will ever share much behind the scenes info unlike other companies. It does not seem like their style. Time will tell what happens but it's truly up to the brand. I get people moving on.

I agree with the assessment of Midnight Moon. I had it last year & thought, “This smells like Leaves.” I also got it in PR & was really happy because I like the scent. 😁
You mentioned Autumn Pumpkin being a favorite. I haven't ever tried that one from HW, but since we have similar scent tastes I am going to have to pick it up! I have rewards points burning a hole in my pocket so think I will finally try a luxe candle! Thanks for the sniffs!!
I'm not into Halloween either Melanie... However I do absolutely love fall and sooo ready for cooler or cold weather. After these 100+ temps here in SC I'm definitely ready for some cold weather. I too have harvest leaves coming in the luxe along with the Autumn pumpkin..I don't recall trying Harry's Autumn pumpkin but I so love Harvest Leaves .Thanks for the first sniff impressions. 😊

I freeze my Homeworx I want to crock. Then I pop wax out of jar, chop it smaller and stick it in an empty Yankee or BBW jar to crock. I really dislike Leaves, but I love Midnight Moon. I have a few back ups. No rancid fermented apple in Midnight Moon lol.
I am the same way about labels. Even with wine, when I buy some it will almost always have something to do with the graphics of the label. I'm a child, lol.
I am a big sucker for candle labels too 😅 I can’t recall the number of times when I purchased candles just for the label or (even worse) the lid 😂 I’ve surprisingly liked both Widow Bouquet, Vampire Venom, and Possessed Plum (this one is quite weak though) on cold, even though none is a Halloween scent. Was thinking of getting a back up, but the poor performance of HmW has held me back 😢 Paulo Santo and Pumpkin, I’ve got 2. I’m glad, but it is just Paulo Santo on cold. Hopefully, some pumpkin accord will come through when lit.

I'm curious about the Palo Santo. I recently moved into a new build home, very open concept and high ceilings and I haven't burned any candles, just crocking and melting. I just smelled the Homeworx Spiced White Pumpkin and Autum Pumpkin Patch candles that I bought last year and put a couple back for this year and on cold sniff it does smell stronger. I might purchase a candle lamp to accomodate Homeworx Candles 4 wick. My last place had so much soot on the walls and painting is a nightmare. I'm ready for fall, cooler temps and rain. 🍂🍁🍃
You are smart to melt only with your new paint job and new house lol. Honestly if we do build in the future I may consider only melting. I don't seem much damage here yet but it build over time regardless.
Nice haul I am on a no buy the last candles i bought were the Christmas tsv I would love to buy more but I don’t have the money so I will just have to shop My stash which is big for a while. I love your thoughts on the candles
I understand. There really is no need or reason to buy EVERYTHING. Just purchase what you can comfortably afford and really love. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. And there is never really ANY candle that is worth clamoring over honestly.

Possessed Plum is actually a prettier scent than Ghostly Greetings. Similar but more floral. Unfortunately, you’ll have to stick your nose directly in the wax to smell anything. Don’t waste your money.
