    I picked up a link cable with a separate plug for your wall charger. You get good data from pc, and full charging power from the wall charger.

    So I’m a wireless pcvr user. My bobo b2 batteries will hold the headset where it’s at. So if I start at 100% and use both of my batteries, I’ll probably get like 5 hours of play time total using VD

    This is still such a hard decision. I mainly like PC VR and the pico 4 is a better decision over the quest 2 or do I put in that extra $200-$300 for the quest 3 🤔

    For PCVR I''ve been doing Virtual Desktop with a Wifi 6e router + powerbank (18 watt, 10,000 mah). This is able to add about 2 1/2 hours on the powerbank by itself. Q3 battery stays fully charged. Thats about 4 hours of total playtime. I did buy another power bank ($16 each) so thats another 2 1/2 hours.
    It looks and runs really well. Wired link for me i'm just having a lot of issues. Thank god virtual desktop works so flawlessly with the wifi 6e router Wireless>>> Wired anyway. I think this is the better route instead than buying a the official link cable + the USB C card.

      @@Ausseye I would suggest to get a cheap 18watt PD power bank of at least 10,000 mah for virtual desktop. IF your using the power brick thats basically same as being wired

    Can someone tell me how large VR games are? Like how much storage they take up? For example a game like VR Chat, how much space would that take up? A few other games for a comparison? I'm trying to figure out whether to get the 128Gb or the 512Gb.

    • @MISSIONVR
      @MISSIONVR  10 месяцев назад +1

      Depends on the game.
      If you are looking to play exclusively stand alone and you want to play alot of different games at once then go with 512.
      If you don’t care about deleting and reinstalling, only play a select few titles and every once in awhile play a different game… or you are using for PC. Then get 128

      If you are on the true native steam vr version there is a way to change world scale. I’ve had this happen to me before while playing the steam vr version of a game

    Let me get this straight, you spent all that money to try to get the thing to charge while playing on PC, just to avoid having to buy the OFFICIAL Cable actually DESIGNED for the device, only for that Official Cable actually designed for the device to be the only solution? 😂 You probably spent nearly $80 on all the other options that didn't work. ALWAYS get the OFFICIAL first party cables & accessories for electronics & consoles/VR's. 🤦🏻
    Wait, why does this thing NOT include a PC/Charging cable? That $650 one better come with one.
    I also hate Facebook/Meta & would prefer not to give them my money. But my gf really wants me to get on VR with her & there just aren't any better options. If Valve was releasing a new one soon enough that also worked as stand alone I would much rather get that.
    So I guess I'm going to have to give Zuck some of my money as much as I hate the idea of giving that authoritarian company my money.

    • @nonyabusiness6084
      @nonyabusiness6084 8 месяцев назад

      @@theonlyD Of course it is. That price is ridiculous. But if that is the only way to get it to work on your PC, what else are you going to do? And if you spent $80 on other options just to try to get it to work, you might as well had just bought the official cable.

    The past tho is grainy for me. It's improvement, but people hype it up. Mr. is cool, but gimmick it's so so im return it The battery dies way too fast I still think psvr2 is better bc it give you more out of the box Comfort. the cord gives you even better graphics, and you play it without worrying about the headset battery level but what I like about the 3 is you can use your hand, but I wish it have eye tracking at time you get more games but too many and half of it is feel in The remote is cool and I wish sony has multiple hand tracking and different way beside vr control and ps5 but I kind dislike you have to use battery If you like standalone I think this is a good headset but have some flaws

      You might be interested in the Quest Pro, similar comfort to the PSVR2, pancake lenses and better colors than the Quest 3, eye tracking and hand tracking

  • @BlackMarketHoney
    @BlackMarketHoney 9 месяцев назад

    I totally agree with you regarding the comfort, but I think they did the right thing making it customisable. They could have designed it with a Quest Pro style strap which not everyone finds Quest Pro comfortable out of the box and there is less options to add an additional battery.

  • @JAYZ999
    @JAYZ999 10 месяцев назад

    I agree with everything you said. All they had to do is put in a decent headstrap, literally anything with a solid back instead of freaking soft strap. If $299 pico can do it, Quest 3 can. Comfort is one part they shouldn’t cheap this much at, new players will put it on, and after some time never play again cause it’s uncomfortable. Then what’s the point meta you just lost thousands if not million of customers for a long time cause they think VR is supposed to be that uncomfortable.
