I remember loving Durge as a kid because of Clone Wars, and before episode 3 came out I was in a toy store and asked if they had any toys of him.
I eventually did get an action figure which I still have that came with the comic where he died.

Also, as many of you have heard, Carrie Fisher has passed away, and I unfortunately don't have the time to make a proper tribute video. Durge currently isn’t canon, but knowing how Dave likes to bring back stuff from legends, they could possibly bring him back for the mandolorian, like they did with the incinerator trooper.

Yes, Durge was a truly *DEVASTATING* bounty hunter and mercenary. It literally took him being flown into a star for him to be permanently destroyed. On that note, the irony is Anakin Skywalker sent him to his demise. Some 150+ years later, Anakin's descendant, Cade Skywalker would do the same to A'Sharad Hett, who was better known at that time as Darth Krayt. Only because in similar fashion, that Darth Krayt like Durge wouldn't stay dead.
So in short, we learn a couple of things. *1.* Skywalkers like to throw or rather fly nigh immortal beings into stars. *2.* If you're dealing with or facing a night immortal being, throw that person into a star.
Durge: suffers about 5000 fatal injuries

Durge has been reintroduced to the new Canon through the 2020 "Doctor Aphra" comics.

@@arcticangel1628 Durge's death during the Clone Wars only happens in the "Legends Continuity", as Durge's reintroduction into the "Canon Continuity" takes place three years after the Battle of Yavin.
Durge would probably be a good asset to the rebellion since most of the clones turned into stormtroopers.
it would be a good and a bad thing for the rebel alliance. one reason is with time passing by, the clones were phased out slowly with regular human volunteers. at the time of episode 4, only the 501st consisted of pure jango fett clones. another reason is that the rebellion would have to pay lots of credits for his services, and they would have to hide the fact that the rebellion is helping the surviving jedi from order 66.
I doubt it. The Rebels only reluctantly allowed regular former CIS members into their Alliance, so I doubt that a bounty hunting psychopathic mass-murderer would be welcomed.

I love that Durge is so ridiculously overpowered that for him to make sense in the plot, he had to experience something that resulted in him losing his sanity and rationality just so he wouldn't be stupid OP.
seeing durge go after the mandolorian in the series would be a treat, having him come back over and over through the series
And mando would eventually have enough and try to find out how to finally kill him. And maybe with each encounter Durge would learn how to counter what defeated him the last time, causing mando to adapt and use new tactics and equipment against Durge.
seeing how Din Djarin is almost certainly going to be Mandalore, it would be an amazing first trial for him as leader of the Mandalorians; fight an age old enemy who holds unending hatred for your people

They were going to, He was going to be the first bounty hunter they introduced, but they decided not to because he is too brutal and too much of a challenge to model and animate. So they instead created Cad Bane. They MIGHT put him in the mandolorian.

I just realized that the best type of Weaponry to use against his species would probably be disruptor rifles that completely disintegrate their targets from a molecular level
Or sonic weapons as they would greatly damage him as they liquidfy the parts of him that it hit so just keep him in a liquefied state until they get a spaceship to send him into a star or use the death star by putting durge on a small moon and use full power and boom you have a dead durge

Don't feel bad for Mandalorians. They are warriors and have fought against the side of justice as many times or more than on the side of justice. For a true Mandalorian, all that matters is fighting a strong opponent so Durge is a perfect adversary for them.

Okay real quick, If he could vaporize someone, I think Vader would have failed in the sixth episode, Durge seems pretty immune to lightning by the old 03' animated movie where he redirected some sort of Taser weapon back at a clone and stunned his ass, and Durge literally took a lava bath with a jedi and walked out after the other guy died, so no don't try lava it'll only tickle him.

FYI, thanks to the War of the Bounty Hunter’s Arc in the Star Wars comics Durge has now been reintroduced into Cannon. Though he only made a cameo appearance, but it’s official and Durge is now cannon.
