It's also fun to imagine that instead of just being brought to Jabba' Palace, Han's unconscious body is being flung across battle zones with all the urgentness of Wacko's Wish and the tenderness of the Krusty Krab health inspector.
I really wanted to like the war of the bounty hunters arc, but each issue just became so tedious with each issue trying to catch up with the other series. It was definitely interesting to see crimson dawn return however. Because of this I stopped reading the Star Wars marvel comics but I loved the earlier series. Darth Vader by Charles soule set right after revenge of the sith was incredible I thought!

His impact on the galaxy result in his organization being one of the major parties that directly led to the destruction of the empire and the last middle finger to Palpatine in death. This comic did him Justice and shows how Maul is more than what anyone gave him credit for at the end of the day.
Yeah, I'm kind of glad they're doing something more with Qi'ra. Too often it feels like a character gets introduced, isn't an instant hit, and then gets forgotten about. So many characters have potential, they just need to be explored and utilized for it to show.

I would imagine that, as Darth Vader and the Inquisitors became more active, he had to abandon it like he did the Mandalorians. It was just too high profile for it to remain useful for him. Lacking his leadership, it probably came down to his top lieutenants vying for the top-spot. With Qi'Ra presumably coming out on top.

No doubt this has to be the best thing that happened to star wars history, opening a new potential stories and creating a more complex branch of the main line story
A post Imperial series, or trilogy of movies about Crimson Dawn, and the power struggle between all the different gangs would just be great IMO. It would tie in so well with the book of boba fett, and even the mandalorian season 4 (if we get a season 4). I mean just imagine the battles we could see between the the Hutts, the Black Sun, Crimson Dawn, and Bobas new empire. On top of all that, we could have the New Republic desperately trying to deal with the new power vacuum in the outer rim as a result of the end of the Empire.
Is this Canon? Either way this is such a cool story. And it makes sense that maul made crimson dawn to get back at palpatine by investing the group in everything and undermining the empire
