  • customer has been else where having an underlying fault with this vehicle and trying to get to the bottom of it how ever it has been to various places and like always missed the pressure pipe blocked. now after speaking to the customer he's updated me that the van is now 100% more responsive and the fuel economy has increased but the it still has a slight splutter and can happen randomly might not happen for a few weeks or can happen pretty much all the time. I will hopefully arrange with the customer to get the van back in and get to the bottom of it...

The amount of times people have replaced sensors on these things and still no joy. Top job big man!

I just checked this on my van as I was under the bonnet anyway. Getting that stupid elbow pipe off is a right PITA due to the single-use spring clamps. I've put some screw-on ones on now so it'll be easy in the future. It was pretty clean in my pipe at 58,000 miles so no issue there. One thing that's useful to know is that the pipe is about 170mm long to the banjo connection, so if your wire goes in that far then it's probably clear.

Only 7 year old and low mileage ... what went wrong Vauxhall at Luton?

When sensor is faulty, after some time ECU will show you the data from different sensor. I don't know how it's working but disconnected sensor will give you 996mbr for few secs and after some time, will start show you normal values. Maybe it's coming from the DPF sensor. Anyway, it's easy to diagnose wrong.

Did you log on the launch as a Trafic as I can’t find upstream sensor as an option on the Vauxhall section on my Launch tablet?
    Great Vid👍👍

Would this cause a van to be sluggish to start?
New battery new altonator glow plugs all fine.
Is this my problem do you think ?

i don't think this will sort the starting issues, i'm also facing the same sluggish starting issues and can't find the sollution.
it might be the battery not being strong enough, eventough mine was new aswell. i see voltages dropping to around 11 volts witch might not be enough to activate certain sensors/fuel valve? so tome, it has nothing to do with this video here .
