You know that I would dig for vinyl in that store .. Only if the prices are reasonable because of the poor storage.. Would have been fun to hang out with both of you, maybe next summer !😊
The prices are ridiculous. I pulled gold out of that store in the past; times have changed. You would appreciate all of the guitars. 🎸. I’m planning to be in Los Angeles in October. I would love to make my way up for a visit. Next summer would be a blast. 💥
@mad4vinyl802 Cool !.. or I could fly into Orange County or LAX wherever is closer to where you will be. I'm looking for a beat up Fender American Standard Strat.. sunburst, natural or black w/ a rosewood neck.. newer or older.
Very cool, Mark. Nice to see a successful meet-up. I drove on the NY Thruway on my way to Boston and back. If I had had more time, I would have seen if you were free, but I was on a tight schedule 😶 Anither time!
Nice Mark, and thanks for putting this footage together. It may be a bit of a mess, but can make digging for treasure more exhilarating! Bonus: turned me onto a new channel w/Shawn Spins 😎🎶
Sounds like a great visit with Shaun. Thanks for the great footage Mark, really well done. I know that meeting other VC members is much more than talking about records, it’s really about getting to know them as people. I have to see that basement for myself! Cheers.
🙂Jack, I concur. I did not record a significant amount of video footage from our visit, which is not necessarily a bad thing. You have an open invitation to check out the basement.
when i was in rochester last year visiting my buddy Bottlehead i only had time for one record shop. it came down to record archive or house of guitars. his girlfriend suggested house of guitars but i really wanted to check out record archive. figured i’d be back some day and check this place out.
Steve, please let me know when you’re in the Rochester area The Archive was definitely the right choice! They have loads of CDs. And they are organized!
My apologies for getting Shaun’s name wrong in the previous video. That’s one heck of a record shop and guitar store! How does one walk out of there with any money left in their bank account? 😂 Thanks for the trip.
Wow, that store had a lot to look at, sensory overload Mark. Even the ceiling was filled with stuff. Incredible guitar selection but they do seem to be trying to put 100 pounds in a 10 pound bag.

Another time, for sure. I may be in Toronto around the holiday. I can sneak some Target closeouts across the border.🤣
@@mad4vinyl802 That's a plan!

True. I think you’ll really enjoy Shaun’s channel.
It would be some intense digging

Wonderful thought on getting to know and making life long friends.

I’ve dropped a lot of coin in that shop over the years!
@@mad4vinyl802 👍🏽👍🏽
It helped to have this feeling of trying to get out of a maze, once one gets into vinyl/cd part it becomes a challenge to find ones way out of store
@@shaunspins Hi Shaun. If I had a choice of where to get lost, I’d choose a record store 🤣. I subbed your channel. ✌🏽
Steve
The guitar section was great, the media section became a maze of how does one get out of here.
No one gets out alive….

Yes, that’s a bit of an understatement. I don’t find any enjoyment navigating through that store. Cool Ludwig kit.
