There's Angel Eyes ! Django was Willie's guitar hero. Keith Hering's art is some of my favorite. I think I have that same french issue of Julie London ! CTI Joe Farrell , very interesting, and I have never seen that title.
You really should get that one (Joe). Along with the Willie Nelson LP if you don't have it. The Julie London album was in great condition and sounded fantastic. I hope you're having a good weekend.
Hi Mark - So cool to see a John Cale record 🙂I had a similar situation with a double record, where I got two copies on one disc and none of the other. It was really frustrating. Brilliant finds, as usual!
Thanks, Brian. You've inspired me to take a closer look at my John Cale collection. Those performances are so urgent and full of energy. We don't worry about quality control these days. ☹️
John Cale is on my "I must build up my collection of" list. Brian's series about Cale has been very educational for me as I thought I knew his music, but I only have and know a small percentage of it. Yes, if you are talking about Willie Nelson, it is completely alright to say country-jazz. One of the few country artists that is brave enough to step beyond the country-pop boundaries. That's a true bummer about the Puff Daddy record being two of the same sides. Good to see you got the extended version of Stop Making Sense....I absolutely love that version. That live recording was one of the best anyway, but the reissue made it even better. Amazing copy of the Orbison classic, I never see his records in that kind of shape. Great price on the excellent Yes album too. Nice finds and excellent prices.
Brian has inspired me to look more closely at my John Cale and Lou Reed titles. They're two truly exceptional artists. Willie Nelson is a national treasure. I'm going to keep the Orbison jacket and get rid of the vinyl. I'll be able to find a cleaner record easily. That's the first time that's ever happened to me regarding doubling a record in a two LP set. It's definitely a sign of the times. I hope you're having a great weekend, Mike.
Willie Jazz?! Who’d a thought! Sound interesting. Al Green still going strong, performing at Indian Casinos out here in Southern California. Bummer. Another reason for me to open all my sealed records lol. Great TH release. Joe Farrell is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 such an untimely death at age 41. Nice get! Great scores, Mark!
I bet you have that Joe Farrell title in your collection! It's a real crowd-pleaser. I've seen some recent RUclips videos of Al Green performing. He can still sing at his advanced age. I was truly surprised by the Willie Nelson title. It's an interesting album-a bit of an unexpected choice. Have a great weekend, Steve!
Wow ample of Cohn really rocked hard, I was surprised. Too bad about P Diddy, Puff Daddy etc…. All kinds of trouble surrounding him including his records lol. Couldn’t agree more about the Live TH, incredible album. Nice finds as always Mark
I'm sorry to say that people often lose their minds in the end. Poor Puffy… I thought you might enjoy "Sabotage." I hope you're enjoying your Talking Heads album as well.
Nice finds, Mark...mostly! I've not seen that Willie Nelson before. You know I love them 80's 😂. Klymaxx..nice! In upstate NY this weekend near Lake George, and off to a local record shop after breakfast. Enjoy the weekend 😎🎶
Have a great weekend! It'll be a great time to enjoy some beautiful fall colors. Mostly ... I'm curious to know what didn't fit your musical taste. I’ve been reconnecting with a lot of my 80s pop collection .🙃
@mad4vinyl802 Thanks! The comment was directed towards the inferior pressing of P Diddy you picked up, and not any music per se. 80's nostalgia is always circling around us.. 😎 Never a bad thing!

I think people may be put off by Diddy in general. I don't blame them for feeling that way.
