Saw them Nov 25 2024. Full house and Thela Hun Jinjeet in the encore was when the security let everyone leave their seat and start dancing in the orchestra pit. Reminded me of Dec 1981 when they played a 7 and 9pm show. Was effing awesome with Bruford. Danny’s rolls were like Billy Cobham playing with Bobby and The Midnights. Steve was wild first set. Tony was high on espresso and taking pics. Adrian is also the best singing AND playing the say he does. He doesn’t miss a beat and is always perfectly in tune even with dissonance. Steve’s rock solo where he was holding the guitar horizontal with just the whammy bar was epic. Glad we made it 43 years later. Model Man was the highlight for me
Brilliant and great to see again in a new format. Saw the Discipline band at the Mountford Hall in Liverpool back in the day. I can definitely recommend a daily dose of King Crimson...It's as good for you today as it's always been!
Saw Beat 2 days ago in Buffalo, It was beyond all my expectations. Mr Vai was himself and Crimson like at the same time. Everyone was scary good. My favorite part was Steve’s playing on Matte Kudasai it was some of the best guitar playing I’ve ever heard and I’m old and have seen Crimson about 15 times starting with them opening for Humble Pie in 71 or 2. Can’t rave about it enough. I talked to all my Crimson buddies after the show and we all know how extreme some Crim Heads can be, well , everybody loved it. Really loved it. Congratulations you guys, It was Crimson, Robert was not physically there but I could feel him . Steve also has the coolest Zoot suit I’ve ever seen!
I took a Friday off, rented a hotel, and drove from SLC to Las Vegas to see BEAT. Greatest musical performance I've ever witnessed. Like many others, I have bits of video and audio from the performance. God bless the band for allowing low quality content to appear on the internet. I'm looking forward to an official concert / interview video within the next year or so... following that train of thought... how did this video appear? On stage during sound check? Interview during intermission? I've heard the same responses from a few different interviews, (Adrian speaking to Robert Fripp about the negative connotations of the word "discipline" for Americans, etc.) and the guys are always happy and enthusiastic, like they don't have a business manager or something..? Can my heroes really be living the dream? Fascinating. Very entertaining. new sub, thumbs up.
Lots of people talking about Danny not being the right fit. Bruford was their 5th drummer. At one point, Crimson had 3 drummers on stage at once. Danny is a pretty good octopus. Oh, and right after this tour, Danny will be playing drums for both Primus and Tool. Back to back, at age 63. And personality, synergy and fun are what these pure musicians care about most.
Thanks so much for your recent posts from this awesome show! FYI, I can't seem to find the track "Industry" on your channel, is it still upcoming? Thank you
I do respect these musicians a lot but calling this hardcore drummer to play Brufor's part was a musical murder. Bruford's fluidity and originality was thrown out the window.
@@adams115 the thing with Bruford is that in essence he was (still is) a jazz drummer playing rock (with bands like Yes) and a mixture of styles with Crimson. He could be subtle and fluid and had a powerful rimshot which became his trademark. I can think of a very versatile drummer who can navigate any style between jazz/big band/heavy metal in the figure of Greyson Nekrutman. I reckon he could fill in Bruford shoes with his energy and precision but still having that fluidity. IMHO
"This hardcore drummer" 🙄 Not sure I agree with you here man. He has won multiple progressive drummer awards played on multiple Adrian Belew albums & was especially selected by Adrian to play on this tour, considering that he has stated many times that Bill Bruford is his biggest influence. His band Tool has a long history & association with King Crimson. Their guitarist, Adam Jones, was working on an album with Robert Fripp. Danny Carey was also a special guest with King Crimson when they toured with Tool in 2001. Far from only being a "Hardcore Drummer" he studied Jazz & Classical" at the Kansas Conservatorium of Music. He has also been a session drummer for Carole King. In saying that, I respect & encourage your opinion, which is actually the best expression to learn & grow from each other 😎✌️ Peace mate 🙏 Danny Carey Interview from 1997 talking about King Crimson & Bill Bruford ruclips.net/video/SsxSm1xCR-E/видео.htmlsi=4FH2Ly7XmHbHxRHO

BEAT doesn't need to make an album....THE BEARS need to make an album. I love how the guy doing most of the talking wasn't on the albums.
I've been waiting for the video log ..thank you 👍🏼👍🏼🙏🙏

Anybody in mind that could have filled his shoes?

@@ReneAlexisPenalozaMunoz I LOVE Danny Carey. But for the sake of this discussion, Jimmy Chamberlin?
