The people going nuts are there just scattered in the actually affordable seats. Pit tickets are insanely expensive here. Usually whoever's paying $1000 to sit in a pit is not the type to go crazy and be in a pit.
It used to be that way here too. But the kids have grown way too soft. They can’t even fathom what crowds used to be like. I want to vomit at the number of phones in the air. So many of the kids today would be terrified and need PTSD counseling if they’d been in the crowd for a show when this song actually came out.
For the people saying the crowd sucks, I'm pretty sure this area is all seated. This venue has a really weird tiny hourglass shaped floor in the middle but the sides all the way up to the stage are all seated. I don't know why Slipknot's management always choose amphitheaters instead of arenas.
Yeah I was there, it was a seated venue. Around 6,500 seats under the pavillion , and around 18,000 on the lawn. The show was sold out. But everybody was standing for slipknot's entire set. The crowd did not seem hype enough for what we were seeing and hearing. I saw a few people in my section who were going nuts like I was, so not entirely dead. But yeah the pit was tiny and the rest were seated aside from the lawn.
They have arenas booked and guess what, they have the pit area, same size as the amphitheater pits and rest of the floor is FOLDED SEATS, so fucking wack.
Its sad… Nobody is even moving except for the dude swinging his arms… But then again, without zombie with phones we wouldn’t get to see this video 🤷♂️
I was in the VIP section so it was pretty chill, but the pit and lawn sections were rocking out! I may not have been swinging my arms around and headbanging constantly, but goddamn it I was rocking the f out on the inside! I'm in my 40s and I just don't have the energy to bounce around like I used to. Plus I was wigging balls on mushrooms so I was in absolute awe the whole time. Also, when I record I'm not even looking at my phone screen 90% of the time, I just hold it below my eyes and kinda wing it.

I can’t imagine paying hundreds of dollars for pit tix just to stand there like a statue… Hopefully Mansfield MA will have less AARP members next Thursday 🙏🤡
Sucks they won't be playing heretic anthem, people = shit, disasterpiece, or My Plague. I get them wanting to celebrate self title which is my favorite album but I've enjoyed so many songs from their other albums

@@snowscold1 pit were $179 for this show. About $30 more than last time they came through. Not as bad as a lot of shows but, still pretty pricy.
