These are some of my favourite exercises to achieve defined abs and obliques.
Grab your ball and come join me, if you don't have a mini pilates ball that's ok, you can use a squishy sports ball.
This workout with a small ball adds variety to your home Pilates routine. Working out with a small ball will work on core stability and we can add new Pilates exercises to your home workout.
I recommend working on your core at least 3/4 times every week to see an improvement in your core strength.

Please Note:
You cannot spot reduce fat (we can’t choose the areas on our body where we lose fat).
For best weight loss results I recommend;
1. A slight calorie deficit, I say slight, as slow steady weight loss is best for overall health.
2. Increasing your exercise duration and/or intensity so your heart rate is elevated. For example HIIT, cardio, LIIT workouts.
3. Workouts that will develop and strengthen specific muscles for your desired goals. For example Pilates, weight training, body weight exercises.

That was a really fun Pilates core workout! Since doing this particular workout, my abs and core have become more toned and strong. I can also feel the burn very quickly!

can i ask something: can you do it with any ball? or is it a special pilates ball? does it weight something?

I get there's a time and place for the crunch exercises, but it seems there's never any alternatives. There are so many other ways to work the abs. I find the crunches so ineffective. Do you have any workouts that focus on leg movement with weights on the mat? 17 minutes of crunches is just dome belly for me and a very sore neck.
