Both have amazing graphics along with Uncharted 4, it makes no sense to say that Gow War has better graphics than HZD or Uncharted 4, all of them have it's style and textures, just enjoy them all.
@@joyadeceren horizon becomes boring much more quickly, for me at least. i got about halfway through the game and it just felt too repetitive and i quit. gow combat never gets old for me, there are so many different abilities and runic attacks.
The only missing in HZD is the foliage interactive with Aloy. Overall, I still prefer HZD over GOW in term of graphic tech. But BOTH of them is super impressive from what they can achieve.

I love both but here's what I have to say for both games. The graphics on Horizon Zero Dawn looks more impressive in every environment you travel to: winter, desert, jungle, and forests. Even the lighting in HZD is so enhanced especially when you face the camera towards sun, making the TV screen look brighter. In the other hand, HZD is lacking on water animations and textures and the sky atmosphere looks like a moving 2D picture. For artistry, God of War has shown a lot of amazing artstyles such as the world serpent, giant, many variety of enemies, abilities and different worlds that you can travel to. Both games have its own graphics style, HZD tends to look more realistic while GOW shows more impressive artistry. I prefer GOW btw.

U beat both in 25-40 hours you get 100% with both 50-70 hours and bothgot an update to get new game plus and a new difficulty and both are incredibly detailed, i complete side quests and inmain quests she talks about it and about 70% dialouges of the whole game change when play missions differently

I love both of them, they are both equally really amazing graphics but imma go with horizon for this one because there are more buildings and animal machines that really fit the background but god of war still is a amazing world to explore. Like if you agree if your on the horizon side :D
On an OLED Horizon wins 10/10, especially the frozen wilds expansion. It just looks great. GoW is a close second 9.9/10 bc although it looks great, it doesn't render as much as Horizon. GoW is all about set pieces while Horizon is always an open space. Sure GoW is more fun, but this about graphics and Horizon wins bc it still looks incredible while rendering foliage, day and night cycles, different weather effects, rivers and waterfalls, player models, NPC's, the machines, and the many mountains and cliffs in the distance that you actually have access to. It just works hard and still looks better than anything else out there. GoW has better particle effects though. Special effects really shine there as well as the lighting...I mean damn!!!!Both are the 2 best looking PS4 games hands down.
Yeah but the thing is, it doesn't. At all. Textures from about a meter or so away look fantastic, anything closer and you can see pixelation. God of War renders so much better, from any distance. The fact that God of War also happens to be a much much better game in terms of story and gameplay/combat also helps.

After years of these games coming out, the music of GOW is insanely good! It has an Ancient theme to it while HZD has more of a tech and survival like theme. GOW has so many skills and combos you could not remember every single one if you haven’t played in months! HZD has a sharpshooter kind of game where you uncover the truth of Aloy’s birth and stop the Hades for trying to make the world to an apocalyptic end. GOW is solely based on Kratos trying to teach *B O Y* to hunt and prepare for the journey while Baldur and his Nephews try to stop Kratos and Atreus who just need to get to Jotunheim to spread their mothers ashes. Both games have the most realistic graphics possible in 2017 and 2018. GOW has a lot of Side-Quests you can do from freeing dragons and doing side quests for armor and HZD gives you freedom to change armor AND weapons where in GOW you cant buy different weapons, only upgrading them. Both games have enchantments for armor and weapons but for GOW you can only put enchantments on talismans. But the best one out of all is the exploration. HZD has a VERY big map including The Frozen Wilds, where the devs actually add an infinite use fast travel pack. While GOW has different realms. Not much to explore but lots of secrets to enhance your gear! They also use portals called the Realm Between Realms. Its like fast traveling but you can still control your character and not wait for it to load in! HZD has lots of ways to travel while half the time in GOW you travel by boat if you cant use the Realm Between Realms. GOW does not have any camera cuts where lots of people explain that except for when you get the secret ending and where they enter Jotunheim. These games have different timelines where GOW was originally a game starting in Greek Mythology and 2018 GOW transferred to Norse Mythology which is probably, the past? While HZD is in the Future. Overall here are the things I think both games have the most. Horizon Zero Dawn -Exploration -Plot -Items -Graphics God Of War -Combat -Plot -Graphics -Music I wonder what difference GOWR will make from HFW.
Horizon Zero Dawn because of its smooth frame rate and response time even at 30 fps. God of War's is almost there. I think God of War can turn into a beast when PS5 comes out. God of War has an unlocked frame rate and if utilized properly with the power of the PS5 it can have smooth frame rate and fast response time. But as of right now Horizon takes the lead as games are to be played and Horizon has a consistent frame rate with great gameplay response time, at least on PS4 Pro.

Both are GREAT games. Horizon is larger, has more RPG elements. God Of War has AWESOME Storytelling and combat. You can add both to your backlog and maybe start with God of War that can be finished in 25 or 30 hours.
God of War is around 50 hours, maybe 60 if you want to do a lot. I don't know how many hours I've put in GoW, but I know that I've played Horizon for almost 80 hours which is a record for me
Overall, God of War looks stunning at a distance but when compared to Horizon Zero Dawn, it's starts to be kind of a mix back, at least in terms of physics. Sure the textures are better, the combat system is great and the story In both games are really good. But almost everything else feels like a major downgrade, the shadow geometry is less complex, there some major problems with particle effects and worse of all, the lighting is less natural. It's not a bad game, in fact I'm enjoying the game, especially on new game +, but even though I appreciate the amazing gameplay, the physics don't hold up very well at this time, there's no reason for a game's physics to be this poor concerning it being the game of 2018, so I would have much rather have a game that improved almost every problem with horizon zero dawn, but I think God of War Ragnorok has to be the one to prove that point. But what do you guys think? Are you impressed with God of War, or do you think that it needs more looking to be improved in Ragnorok?

Gow has better textures, realism whereas hzd has better environment and too beautiful to be real...but still ok considering the future times on robo apocalyptic world.. To sum it all, gow has the most strong textures i ever seen in ps4 along with great polishing.. At last, field view mattets...you cant compare a limited world game with an open one
Gow looks more realism like hzd and u4, because both of them looks a little bit like cartoons but thats maybe a reason why the atmosphere looks a lot warmer than in gow. Technically is gow the best but not as bautiful like hzd or u4 ( except alfheim... best looking map/level ever made to date)

BigBoss90 I have RD2 on the one x and Horizon and GOW on the Pro. HZD impressed me the most out of the 3 and I'm playing them on a well calibrated Q9FN. I don't think the one x handles HDR as good as the Pro at the best of times (something to do with how the one x communicates with TV, blacks are usually too grey on rgb full or limited) but considering RD2 doesn't even have proper HDR to begin with, I think HZD takes the win there, plus the fact that RD2 is a prequel it is kind of predictable. We know John's fate and who is still with him from his past in the first RD game. HZD is a brand new IP so we never knew what to expect or where the story was going. HZD was an amazing game and had an amazing DLC. The future of RD2 is really the past. It's future is a 2010 game where the protagonist meets his untimely demise. The future for HZD is exciting and promising for the next gen(PS5)

Especially when you add to the fact that horizon is open world, gorilla did some witchcraft to make horizon.

Overall, God of War looks stunning at a distance but when compared to Horizon Zero Dawn, it's starts to be kind of a mix back, at least in terms of physics. Sure the textures are better, the combat system is great and the story In both games are really good. But almost everything else feels like a major downgrade, the shadow geometry is less complex, there some major problems with particle effects and worse of all, the lighting is less natural. It's not a bad game, in fact I'm enjoying the game, especially on new game +, but even though I appreciate the amazing gameplay, the physics don't hold up very well at this time, there's no reason for a game's physics to be this poor concerning it being the game of 2018, so I would have much rather have a game that improved almost every problem with horizon zero dawn, but I think God of War Ragnorok has to be the one to prove that point. But what do you guys think? Are you impressed with God of War, or do you think that it needs more looking to be improved in Ragnorok?
With no ofence but if you campare the game play movements grafics battels of God of war to Horizion zero dawn its like playing super mario and metal gear solid...please take time out and see how aloy moves and sneaks up on things how you can control her turns walk jump and attaccts as if you were the one doing them ..you have an 85 percent of her movements at your finger tips you can allso jump off any cliff run and go in any dirrection you please ..in the other hand God of war limits you to all this things ...its like playing a 2D supermario game in 2018....Gurella games has brong to us the most controlable character in Horizion Zero Dawn ..this game gives you the real feeling og been the character ..not like in God of War were you get hit in the back couse you cant turn the character at your will or do realalistic back and side attacts..in GOW ..the character moves like a pupet the story is nicce the the movie trailers are great ...as playing it is a disaster.....Play Horizion and become the character

You also cant compare the two stories. The only thing going for horizon is its gameplay and graphics, but the story is just kind of there.

Both are masterpieces however GOW made me a part of its journey. I got far more immersed in GOW than HZD.

Gow has better textures, realism whereas hzd has better environment and too beautiful to be real...but still ok considering the future times on robo apocalyptic world..
To sum it all, gow has the most strong textures i ever seen in ps4 along with great polishing..
At last, field view mattets...you cant compare a limited world game with an open one

Gow looks more realism like hzd and u4, because both of them looks a little bit like cartoons but thats maybe a reason why the atmosphere looks a lot warmer than in gow. Technically is gow the best but not as bautiful like hzd or u4 ( except alfheim... best looking map/level ever made to date)

Horizon is very flat technically. Rdr2 wins in graphics, physics, on-screen elements and animations.

BigBoss90 I have RD2 on the one x and Horizon and GOW on the Pro. HZD impressed me the most out of the 3 and I'm playing them on a well calibrated Q9FN.
I don't think the one x handles HDR as good as the Pro at the best of times (something to do with how the one x communicates with TV, blacks are usually too grey on rgb full or limited) but considering RD2 doesn't even have proper HDR to begin with, I think HZD takes the win there, plus the fact that RD2 is a prequel it is kind of predictable. We know John's fate and who is still with him from his past in the first RD game. HZD is a brand new IP so we never knew what to expect or where the story was going. HZD was an amazing game and had an amazing DLC. The future of RD2 is really the past. It's future is a 2010 game where the protagonist meets his untimely demise. The future for HZD is exciting and promising for the next gen(PS5)
