- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is characterized by deficiencies in social interactions and communication, limited and repetitive behaviors and interests, and in many (but not all) cases, intellectual and language impairments. These symptoms can range from mild to severe. For example, what used to be known as Asperger’s disorder would be on the mild end of the spectrum and what was called classic autism-the most serious form of the condition-would be on the opposite end.

I was just diagnosed in my 50s. The increase in diagnosis has been due to recognition of those like myself who mask their autistic traits which were punished or shamed as a child. It is hard to accept my innate nature. I help symptoms with breathing to regulate emotions and thoughts, and fasting diet with unprocessed, organic food prepared fresh as much as possible. I try exercise which helps me be aware of my body sensations, core strength and natural primal movement.
Those are very great strategies! I received a diagnosis at 2 and a half and I follow most of those things.

I received an autism diagnosis at 2 and a half and I have wondered why and how it started. For many years I felt like I had to hide my autism but I began to realize that being different is not a bad thing

My son is 48 he has had all the symptoms of autism since he was a child. We saw many doctors, Psychologists and psychiatrists to help him.he was never diagnosed as autistic because they didn’t know much about it back then. They just said he had ‘brain dysfunction’ caused by an auto immune reaction to strep A. The Pediatric Neuropsychiatrist put him on a very expensive antibiotic and said he would need it for life.
After several years we couldn’t afford the antibiotic. He’s been off it for many years now

Cannabis oil is my medicine for adhd,its a stimulant to me.
Omeg 3! Agree but my husband is on Xarelto and so nothing that thins the blood they say. Sad Frustrated! He is on Xarelto after a mt. bike accident scense repeated blood clots.
That´s the thing - they don´t want you to do anything that makes them have to reduce their medication... Omega-3 helps the blood naturally!
