The CIS obviously needs a refund. Their aimbots sucked.

@@willgoaliemans I feel like I have to disagree with that FO armor had to be strong since they were constantly at war with the unknown regions like how clones were constantly deployed into warzones unlike imperial stormtroopers who had in my opinion the weakest armor of the three since they were basically glorified police officers. The armour didn't stop a blaster bolt but lessened it's impact by dissipating the energy, increasing the clone's survival chance. As the bolt would just injure them and not actually kill them some of the time.
Same with stormtrooper
I guess the reason for most clones and stormtroopers still getting killed by headshots is because the trauma that their brains would receive from a concussive hit like that would likely destroy the skull and all the nerves in the brain. comfortability
BlackShogun 27 lol that is so true
I think a lot of people forget that the purpose of armor isn’t to deflect lasers/prevent any damage (like proper Mandalorian Beskar), it’s to allow the user to get shot and survive, even if they’re knocked down. And clone armor did this pretty well, as clones getting shot and continuing to fight is shown a lot, and we I don’t think we can know for sure how many clones we see get shot and go down are dead or just unconscious
so who is using aimbot, the clones with their aimassist helmets or the literal targeting computers?
The clones are using aimbot, the literal targeting computers *are* the aimbot.
The clones aren't using aimbot. They are using aim assist. Aimbot would imply that something is literally putting their Rifle on target. Their HUD just helps you visually to put your rifle on target.
Aimbots vs high skill players using aim assist.

Yo, explain what the base on hoth was before the rebels got there please.
If you read the star wars guide book it say hoth was a mainly a outrim world bunker for traders and smugglers that was abandoned for a long time before the rebels found it and upgraded it for their usage
Echo Base was literally just ice caves, it was built up by the Alliance Engineering Corps
Never thought about that cool question bro.
It was a smuggler's den run by a smuggler buddy of Han Solo before being abandoned a few years before Ep. 5.
The Star Wars Essential Guide to Warfare states that prior to the rebels, both was a smuggling world

Kalan McKinney Yeah but why show that in the Clone Wars? I get why it should be shown I don’t get why that would be shown in the clone wars.
Kinda wish we saw more camo armors for the clones so they dont look like marshmallows in combat
In the lore, their armour looks like that because the Kaminoans see into greater light spectrums. The armour is colored for them. Big off for any normal species. I think multicam, similar to that of the modern day US Marines, would be the move.
@@ironstarofmordian7098 yeah, but the army uses multicam and marines use digital camo. I do agree though (sorry for being late)

@@peteharris2607
Damm cool, i actually didn't know that
In Star Wars very few armors could deflect blaster entirely, but the armor could block debris and bullets with ease, reason why slugthrowers were very rare in Star Wars
Police deliberately use level IIIA armor, because most weapons they encounter are handguns, its lighter, more comfortable, flexible. Is it less protective, yes, are there better options? Yes. IIIA armor is not meant to stop 7.62×39, or AK rounds, IIIA is rated for handgun calibers. This was an ignorant comment.
My favourite armour set is the one worn by the Elite corps by virtue of using camouflage on their gear. The Galactic Marines come 2nd design wise for me.
I always loved clone armor over Stormtrooper armor (both Empire & 1st Order). Extremely customisable and very expressive.
If I have a set I'd try something like Rex. Not his appearance but taking the best of all armors and combining them.
Phase 1 Chest Plate with Paldrons (according to Rex it always holds up), Phase 2 limb armor, ARC kama, Phase 1 Scout helmet.
The clone armour aged really well into the scifi movies scene
If a clone says “man I’m ugly” he insults the entire clone army at once
Clone paratrooper armor is probably my favorite regular clone armor of all time just looks awesome. RC armor is also amazing
“That armour doesn’t even stop enemy shots!”
Well neither does Kevlar! We still wear it.
Fair
Well not really military armor (well the one that can stop assault rifle round are not kevlar, they are made of ceramic and some extremely resistant plastic and i think sometimes steel. What a phenomenally stupid thing to say. Modern ballistic armour protects against everything from shrapnel to weapons fire very well. Don't believe dogshit like what Final Advance just spouted,

4:42 so did this somehow not work for the Blue Shadow Virus? The clones took their helmets off when they became infected.
Mostly because they only had limited life-support and the filters can only do so much before they clog up, that and DRAMA :-) And he also mentions the need for some breathable air which is not an infinite resource when the closed area your in is filled with the virus.
Also I'd guess that it was a matter of comfort as well, helmets can get stuffy.
SuperClonezzz Productions, hey, what's up? So what's been going on with you lately?
We know it is sealed and air tight as we saw Phase 1 troopers in the vacuume of space, so it's safe to assume the Blue Shadow Virus can go through filters
Nah, the clones just took off the helmets, then they got infected. In the scene where they ran to the safe room, some of the virus got into the room. Then the clones took off their helmets...
@@demanischaffer If the system is sealed, it shouldn't be able to get in- That's why it's Airtight.
Battle damage could potentially ruin a suit seal, however. See: Halo, where Spartan suits are sealed but in ine of the first battles Spartans had with their suits, they lost a man, as his seal would have been breached and heading back out into space would have been death.
There's probably a switch or mode of some sort that needs to be activated to trigger the seal, maybe a failsafe as well that triggers in a vacuum. Failing to do so early would lead to doubts about whether the system is sucessful, so it's more reasonable to treat yourself as infected.
When I was a small kid I always assumed that Clone and Stormtrooper armor was supposed to protect against shrapnel not blasters, because why rebels and separatists would use blasters that are not able to kill their main opponents?
Well weapon that can kill their main opponent is quite a broad spectrum that goes from one shotting the opponenent to needing multiple shot in the same place to kill it or need one shot in a weak area, plate armor was extremely resistant sword, most of the armor was impossible to penetrate with a sword that never stopped people from using sword to kill people in plate armor (and this also apply also to weapon made to penetrate armor like mace, plate armor could protect you from the blow of such weapon)
You actually knew what shrapnel was as a kid?

Well yes, but the CIS literally used aimbots as soldiers, so I leave you to draw your own conclusions.
Matthew Reger aimbots suck without a player tho

So the clones training showed, they had skill.

Great video!
I love the grey camo on the scout armor in the TCW movie; it was awesome. I’d probably go with either Commando armor or Phase-1 Trooper armor. I love the Phase-2 as well, but there is just something about the design of Phase-1 that is so unique and beautiful.
I still believe that the clones had very good aiming and skills
Clone armor was pretty tough. Rex took a headshot, a sniper shot, and a chest shot and kept on fighting. As he says" generation 1 armor holds up"

Some thoughts that will no doubt be lost in the sea of comments.
The body gloves would also act as a pressure suit as part of operating in a vacuum and not just for thermal control. Current space suit tech uses semi-rigid and "hard" segments connected with joints as to apply enough air pressure in the suit against the astronauts body to prevent injury while still allowing for motion(speaking very generally). These body gloves would be similar to the Mars suits used in the Martian or other "Skintight" suits in development, and apply this pressure against the body with physical compression instead of atmospheric pressure. The advantage of this "Mechanical counter pressure suit" is that it would be inherently more flexible than a traditional suit which becomes more rigid as greater amounts of air pressure is applied (you're basically in a balloon). Which is also one reason why current suits run at relatively low air pressure necessitating pre-breathing and decompression similar to scuba divers. Also, EVA suits are typically on pure Oxygen, like Scuba, instead of mixed gasses as found on the ISS and Earth. Suits use pure oxygen because it helps avoid decompression sickness because it lacks an inert gas, like Nitrogen. But mixed gases environments are safer and... etc.
Skintight Suits, applying pressure mechanically, would therefor not require any connection to a breathing apparatus and only to whatever thermal system Star Wars tech can fit in there. If you want to get sci fi here, combine the function of a pilots G-Suit to a troopers suit and you could add some additional capabilities that could help in high-g situations/environments or possibly life-saving situations with a g-suits ability to force blood flow away from the legs and back towards the torso and head. If you want to stay with current tech "realism," then presume there is no active thermal control system thus why the suit can only be used in a hard vacuum for a limited time. Or longer in simply "low pressure" environments. Current Skintight designs don't allow for thermal control aside from perspiration. Which has its limits.
In addition, only the helmet would need an atmosphere supply for the trooper (those air hoses connecting to the pilots helmets make more sense now). Greatly simplifying life-support systems as well as requiring a significantly lower volume of air to fill the cavity. As well as the systems ability to keep pressure near 1 atmosphere, skipping a need for pre-breathing and allowing use of mixed-gasses which could more easily be refilled in situ with just a simple pump.
This layer would also most certainly be flame resistant. As well as puncture resistant. Both for obvious reasons.
Considering how clone armour had built in temperature regulation, that active thermal control system would be perfectly feasible in-universe. Exceptional analysis I must say.
If I had to pick it would be a mix of phase1 and 2, phase 2 body-armour (with modifications) and a modified phase 1 helmet ( I just love how it looks).
Although I would prefer a full set of Beskar'Gam :-)
Also hope to see a video on the Katarn-class Commando armour.
So you'd want a helmet like Captain Rex's?
@@emperortethysusdacertified8175 Pretty much :-)
I never thought clone armor was meant to stop blaster bolts. I always thought they were meant to reduce the damage and make the blast more likely to be survivable.
Phase 2 can block glancing an indirect shots. Phase 1 (from what I can tell) can stop simi-direct and possibly ionized blots
In S7 rex's armor stops a few blasts
Mandolorians had the armor that was the base for clones who had a base for the imperial stormtrooper and that was the base for the first order storm troopers. So the mandolorians had the base armor for all troopers in the Star Wars saga

@@erasablefallen7223 Commandos, snipers, and assassins would be the only thing that could aim for them, specifically. And for a chest shot (battle droids' standard aim) to deviate that much and hit the bomb requires a lot of random factor. Im sure it happened, but not enough to be a common factor
