In our journey through life. We'll have many friends. But in reality we'll only have 1 or 2 that are real. The one's that make a positive impact in your life. We usually realize that when they are gone.
Why is it so many songs in the 70s makes us feel good? Because we were free, free thinkers, free to be what we wanted to be, free to do what we want, free to love all. No judging, no racisism, no criticism! Hello all my old friends! ❤💖
the rock n roll of the 60's - 70's was a social movement and just incredible music that grew up in a grass roots kind of way, so incredibly much talent singing about peace, love, social change - some say "Baby Boomers" messed up the world, probably - but we also had a vision of what needed to change, and thankfully the music was not about ugly hatred and violence...
Reminds of being in high school and meeting my very first girlfriend named Micki, I remember hearing this song on the radio while dating her, she's gone now but this amazing song reminds me of her so much...great memories
The love of my life, I met her when she was just 14 and I was 17, we stayed in touch throughout the years but drifted apart because of life. I found her once again after 43 and sent her this song, the song that made me cry every time I thought of her. We are living our fairy tale now.
Wow. I'm happy for you. And maybe a little bit envious too and possibly getting pissed off thinking about it all. My woman got COPD 10 years ago and had to go on oxygen and died 3 years and 10 days ago. Merryfuckin Christmas to me. Make sure you thank Eric Clapton for making things great for you. He hasn't done that for me but he was the reason I took up guitar. They're all arranged in stands in my living room mocking me as I speak. Alone with my guitars

Those woman's voices floor me every time. Has a unique femininity pulsing their vibrato in and out of sync but in perfect harmony makes a single hypnotic vocal. Eric's couldn't be more vulnerable and those buttery bends smoother than a lap steel. This and promises are sonic alchemy.
