I don't care about the mistakes made in the game, I just here to watch a awesome fun game of Commander and that's it, watching for mistakes, not even on my list of priorities for watching commander games.

Just a clarification, but Gift attached to Light-Paws works like this:
If Light-Paws dies and goes to the 'yard, it immediately comes back. Gift doesn't come back until EOT -- which means that if you kill Light-Paws a second time, and it goes back to the Command Zone or stays in the 'yard, at EOT Gift won't move from the 'yard since it's original creature isn't on the battlefield.
My playgroup needs to know when will we see Joe's Samut vs Posty's Zur vs Cassius' Urza vs Kyle's (Hill) Narset. We need the heat, we need the absurdity of that pod to happen😩🔥🔥🔥

Great episode as always! Dana could've gotten the second win too with Primal Surge as it says you "may" put it on the battlefield. She could've stopped exiling cards at anytime. It was cool to see it play out though!
Yea she had the cards looking at that decklist to easily win stoping even at 10 left in library. But I get the greed. She really needs to add a Aether Flux Res and a Staff of Domination. Gives her another way to go inf mana and another way to win off the life payout. Plus add in primal surge and now you got 3 wincons you can stop at it your too worried about mill be it self inflicted or not.

Awesome game! I love seeing other elf decks and how people build decks differently in general. [Primal Surge] elves is an awesome concept.
I realize the "battlefield" looks different as a spectator than a player. However, I think, perhaps, Dana may have still had the win. I think with [Ambush Commander], [Heart Warden], [Nullmage Shepard], [Reclamation Sage], and/or [Ghost Quarter] l, she would have enough activation triggers to put stuff into her graveyard and survive the draw triggers with her [Bow of Nylea] activation.
Been looking forward to this episode, its going to be awesome

The Bow was the answer if Dana had a few fetchlands or anything to sacrifice permanents to increase the graveyard she would've won. But that's how you learn how to fix your deck and make it so that can't happen next time!

As a primal surge player, the last card of her deck would have been exiled, and if it was a permanant there would be the option to put it onto the battlefield then repeat.. the land would have been gone, however this does make me wonder if the interaction of exiling the top card would cause one to lose, if there is no deck? Similar to drawing to death, but, not.

Was blind obedience legal to play? It has a black pip no? Therefore it goes against the commander’s color identity?
It's completely legal, in this case, the symbol is in the reminder text, which explains what "extort" does, so it's not counted. Reminder text has no rules meaning, so it doesn't count towards color identity.

I want to mention the primal surge needs to be played out. If there is a guardian project or an "etb something, draw a card" effect, the triggers are put onto the stack and when resolving, it can cause you to lose by drawing an empty deck.
Primal Surge also says "If it's a permanent card, you *may* put it onto the battlefield. If you do, repeat this process." so she can stop it at with one card left in her deck
32:26 Oops. Rookie play there. Blind obedience makes the treasures come in tapped so no Joe didn't have enough mana for bastion of remembrance that turn.

I have a question and not trying to nitpick but get a better understanding of commander rules. Olivia's commander is light paws and she has a blind obedience in her deck that has an extort cost of 1 orzhov, is that allowed to be in the deck due to commander color restriction, or does the extort not count as a color identity of a card?
Extort is reminder text, not a part of the identity of the card

I play with some work friends. 1 of them an elf precon is their only commander deck, I always tell everyone else he's the problem and nobody believes me because my favorite deck is a drain/gain deck
Newer to the game and I have a question - I can see how Dana gets infinite mana with her combo but how does that win the game from there on the same turn? Does she use the trample from commander and then umbral mantle untaps all the creatures without summoning sickness? and if she had at least 3 such creatures she can attack with at least one at each opponent with infinite power and trample?
She explains she has Umbra Mantle to untap, yes. However she also has Ezuri, her commander, who says "2GGG: Elf Creatures you control get +3/+3 and and gain trample until end of turn" which she can use an infinite number of times by tapping Circle of Dreams Druid for 1 Green mana for each creature she controls, and she has Ambush Commander which would turn all of her lands into 1/1 elves which would also benefit from Ezuri's buff.
She also has in her deck Thousand-Year Elixir, which allows her to tap creatures as if they had haste to activate abilities, such as Timberwatch Elf, which says "Tap, target creature gets +x/+x where X is the number of elves in play" and Coat of Arms which says "Each creature gets +1/+1 for each other creature on the battlefield that shares at least one creature type with it." So every elf gets +1/+1 for every other elf in play, which is basically every creature Dana controls, plus 27 of her lands.
So TLDR answer: Yes. She just needs to swing her three mana dorks that had been on the board at the three players, each one would have infinite power and trample to win her the game thanks to her ability to untap creatures
I think Joe could have been attacking Olivia and tapping down lightpaws with goad on the attack trigger since she had not got the pro-creatures enchant? Wouldn't be able to block and his life total would be safer.
Not sure what effect it would have had but karazikars trigger is pretty strong against voltron.

They had haste but the card draw was on stack so she couldn’t enter combat. If she entered combat the card draw would resolve losing the game

I didn’t put the meld card in because Mishra won’t keep the top ability. I go pretty wide in the deck and the meld shuts that off.

Good game. I do not like that life tracker because it links commander damage and life. It happens in every game it is used that people have to correct the life.

I don't like that Gavin was able to take a play back when he forgot about a trigger (Blind Obedience) but when Dana doesn't realize a trigger after playing out her entire library she wasn't able to take her last draw back. Other than that this was one of my favorite TTJ games. Nice work.
I mean, not casting a spell is a pretty small game action to reverse, rather than separating out everything that just came in play. Its rough, but learning from misplays is important too.
@@IamtheTolle True but there gets a point when you are trying to play out the action as quickly as possible for the sake of the group. Good Pods will help you with your triggers at that point. You could tell the man was salty though.
