That train journey is a bargain, Thailand breezing by you out the window, a bed, people bringing you tasty food - not included of course but for 10 baht it may as well be. Silly money!

It's such a wonderful trip on the train. Anyway, what class of sleeper train did you choose and how much for adult? How did you go from train station to ferry? and how long did ferry take you to Koh Samui? I will plan on going there soon. Thanks
Yeah we really enjoyed the train it was a fun experience.We had a 2nd class sleeper ticket.. i think it was around 425 baht each.
When we arrived at Suratthani Train station we got a taxi to the ferry.We had planned to get a bus but the next bus wasnt for another 2 hours and we didnt want to wait.
Am sure the ferry took around 2 hours
It was a good adventure worth it for the experience
