Hi. I am Thai and have lived in the UK (Derby) for work and study. I've taken trains in the UK at Manchester Piccadilly station and the trains there I thought were clean and looked much newer than in Thailand. I like it so much.
Thanks for the Video, very informative, I plan to catch the train to Surat Thani then a Bus down to Krabi in about week, good to know what to expect, hope you had a wonderful time at your destination.
Short and to the point 👈, thanks! Any idea if the first class cabins have power outlets or better bathrooms... I'd imagine it's the same dining car for all, though, so maybe we'll pack dinner.
I recently travelled on this train, loved it. My bed had a power outlet right next to it. I believe there are 4 in each carriage. Downside, everyone congregates around the power sockets to charge things 😂
Thanks, great informative video. My wife and I are planning the same trip next month. I seen on other videos, people taking newer trains with purple seats. Is there a way to select the newer train on this journey? Thanks!

Hey, thanks for watching. I’m really not sure. From what I’ve seen, the Chang mai train is newer. Let me know what you find though!
Is this Train #39?
V useful thank you
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Are you still in Thailand ?
No, unfortunately not.
Whe got a message from our travel agent to absolutely not eat in the dining car for personal health. We did bring our own food.
