Lyrics may be a bit off since I didn't really have the best of sources.
The Bloody Week is a song written by Jean Baptiste Clément through his own experience on the last events of the Commune of Paris in 1871. The Commune was established shortly after the defeat of the French army by the Germans and was the first "Dictatorship of the Proletariat". The revolt failed to spread and lasted a mere 2 months before the army re-entered the city, resulting in mass arrests and executions.
An embarassing editing mistake at 2:52 where the English lyrics repeat the last part... Corrected version is: The bad days will end.
