Those ratchet are trash. Ive used them at work and they just suck. The teeth where the locking lever locks on will wear out over a short time and when ratcheting with it locked will wiggle itself from locking.

I was thinking they look very similar to the Napa Carlyle. Those Carlyle's are much cheaper though.

    Hello again ABD
Thank you for another Great Video. I think you got a sweet deal here. I am looking forward to seeing more of your putting them to work. Please let us know how they work out? While I have you. Have you reviewed either the Gearwrench 81235 or the Sunex 8855 Magnetic universal joint sockets and Extensions sets. I am researching which one is stronger magnet. Again thank you

I don’t have neither of those, but I do have a Craftsman set, it was just an impulse buy and I never really used them! Lol The problem with those is that they don’t work with everything.. not every socket is the same and they don’t fit. I wish Gearwrench had more magnetic sockets, I managed to get a few off of 10 mm and 8 mm rail sets.. for some reason they only sell those in those sets..

Thank you the response. Just from watching RUclips, it seems the magnetic sockets like to gather metal trash, which is difficult to clean out. The Gearwrench and Sunex sets. Should make every socket a magnet. Now the part yielded trying to install or remove has to accept the magnetic properties to work.
You said Craftsman had a set,, which I didn't know about. Do you have the part number? Again thank you

@@georgeferlazzo7936 if you are really worried about the metal shavings, get the Koken nut grips. They have a metal ring that holds on to the nut. They are expensive but you can get the sockets by themselves, an easy search “Koken nut grip” and they will show up!👍

      @@AutobahnDan Hello again ABD
All of those are Great suggestions, But have the same issues as a Aircraft Mechanic, I have about a 95% of my hardware is twelve points and SAE/Standard. No metric hardware as of yet. So the six point nut grip sockets and magnetic sockets don't work for my purpose. Since I got introduced to the magnetic drive tools I 've been trying to find out who has the strongest magnetic field or pull if you will. The idea here is, you don't want to drop the tool or part. Airplanes are grounded until the lost items are found. You make money, so to speak, by not dropping in the first place. Airplanes make departure time and travel safely to their destination, and repeat again. Anyhow, thank you again
