I’m not even finished watching but I’m CRACKING UP about not being allowed to buy paint looking a mess with the color-failed eyeshadow. Oh Lord, we’ve all been there, and so appreciate your attitude - just make the best of it, learn a lesson and move on. Much love from Hilton Head SC. 💜
I am in my mid seventies, and I seem to spend an inordinant amount of time plucking, shaving, using depilatories, etc. There is less hair where you want it, and waaaaay more where you don't! I'm fighting the good fight tho'!! Every day is an adventure and a blessing!😊
@@cathyackmann1010 Unfortunately, after watching my mother age to her passing. It just gets worse...Even I at 62 am still finding those almost invisible hair on upper lip, and under chin. omg...the chin hair was over 3" long. My mother constantly had the tweezers in her hand feeling for those hairs. -shake my head- getting old is NOT for sissies. sigh
You are so beautiful, smart, elegant, but what makes me happiest is you’re not whatever ruins celebrities that think they are different and better than others. You have both feet firmly planted in reality. Love ya for that.

Thank you, Nikol. Make-up is expensive, and while I don't mind spending a bit for workhorse items that do the job every time, at my age, I am no longer willing to go out and spend on things that just don't work, will frustrate me, and are going to end up in the trash. OMG, you are the best! I love how you were so honest about the eye shadow really not being worth the cost, yet you kept your sense of humor and still made it work! This is so relatable and real. ❤
Oh Nikol, I had to spend spend some time this morning laughing with you not at you. We all have moments when we feel we are a hot mess both in our looks and our thoughts. Pretty sure that was your mind set between the new hair remover and under pigmented eyeshadow. As always you just drove right on thru to a beautiful ending. Am so enjoying your faultless honesty and your true life frustrations. We will all trust the process lol
I have been watching cosmetic/beauty make over/what to wear/what not to wear videos for several years. You are not only a beautiful lady...you are first class compared to the others. Your style is untouchable with honesty and since of humor. At 85, things grow on this body, that I don't need and important essentials 'break'! Thank you for keeping me glued together!
Thank you Nikol for normalizing hair on a woman's face! I wear very little makeup as a 70 year old with an outdoor lifestyle but I love watching how you put yourself together! Your BB cream looks like a winner for me. Love that you let us see you before and after the transformation, girl!
First of all I will be 70 in June. And believe or not I like myself and the normal aging, I'm kind of ok with. BUT THE FIGHT WITH THE LIP AND CHIN HAIRS 😂😂😂 you made me feel so much better about myself. "You had me at Hello" to steal a movie line from the past. The struggle is real. Please keep us updated on your laser journey. #2 I haven't used foundation In 12 + years I used Chanel they changed the product, I was devastated. I tried Tarte BB creame and was sold. Beautiful is all I can say about you and your ability to relate to all of us.❤❤❤
Loved "It's been a moment, it's been a day!" LOL! Love your products also! Thanks for sharing other products that are not yours too! Have a blessed day on purpose!
Thank you for highlighting the Tom Ford perfume sampler! My birthday is next month, and I was looking for a less expensive way to sample Tom Ford's fragrances. Your channel is such a breath of fresh air, and I love your personality so much.
I loved how real, down to earth you are and your sense of humor in this video made my day. I've always had difficulty finding the 'right' shade of foundation! So frustrating that I've opted for loose powders, like physicians formula brand. But now, I'm excited to try a BB cream. I'm 74 n my skin is blotchy, im Italian, sallow not olive complexion. Thx you for these helpful/hopeful videos.
I started to pass this video , then I realized.... WT🫢 I am 71😂. I love make up and really wear it every day.... Bury me with mascara, blush and lip liner at least💋👍🏼. Thank u Nikol. Love the Videos!
You look amazing, the problem eye shadow really doesn’t show because your skin looks flawless and that’s the attraction.I love using bb cream as I’m 77 and it’s what works best for me. Love your beauty Nikol, thank you for sharing.
I just love watching your channel because, you always make us older women feel better!! You're not a snob or arrogant because you're a model and beautiful!! You're always so nice and explain everything so well!! You get me excited to try new things and because I'm 66 yrs young you make me feel like I don't have to look it!! I can do just a few things and look better than ever!!! I'm saving up to buy alot of your make-up line. I'm disabled so money is tight so I have to save up for things. But, I've got to have some of your BB make-up and I realize I need cream blushes and bronzer like you use, just alil lighter . I'm very pale, my father has that pale Irish skin!! Lol. But, you always arecso sweet an uplifting!!! Thank you so much!!😀
I have had dry eyes for years. Prescription drops just masked the problem. I did 4 ILP treatments around the eyes with my eye doctor to unblock the oil glands that help moisturize the eyes. I no longer need any eye drops ~ truly wonderful!
I have always loved the BB cremes - but I do a 1-1 combo of my foundation plus bb and mash them together before applying... it's kind of the best of both worlds...btw - I am 60 - have been doing this since my 50s --- and recently I just tried each one separately just to remind myself that the combo approach is really the best for me... bb tends to be too light - foundation too heavy --- but the 1-1 mash up is perfect!!!
i am 74 and was told long ago that electrolysis would not work on grey hair. I did electrolysis when i was about 40 or so on my lip...well, i have been plucking chin hairs forever and finally the lady i went to wax my eyebrows in Dallas told me that electrolysis does work in grey hair. it is laser that does not. I have moved to VA and started electrolysis last March. I could not be happier with the result...i have a few more monthly trips but it gets rid of hair permanently. love it.
This video is so real!!! Tysm. You’re making me smile and feeling a genuine vibe from you. Ty for helping we older women. Have a wonderful time at the paint store!!!!
Your BB cream is fabulous. I'll make two suggestions: a line under your eye, either in the waterline or under your lowerclasline, will drag your eyes down. The other thing that I said OH NO to, was the eyeshadow quad. Dark brown eyes an blue shadow has never been a great combo. It makes your eyes look so tired. Take care.
I have the purple Ulike. LOVE IT. I have not had to shave for 2 mo. I am now doing 1 time a month as matenance. Follow the directions. It is so worth the time and effort.
I enjoy the 'how to' even though I may not use all of the products; I'm a minimalist daily, but I enjoy the breadth of knowledge you have. I believe that when I do need to go out to an event or a fancy day, it is perfect for me. A 71 year old !!
I've been moving all day. I'm completely and utterly exhausted. I really needed this video today. Thank you for being so real with us. I so appreciate it.
RE: DRY EYES Wearing contacts and eyelash serums will cause dry eye. I only wear a contact for close up on my right eye and noticed that it began to be dry-the left is fine or was until I began using eyelash serum. I quit using the serum because I read that it disrupts the endocrine system and the dry eye improved tremendously. It had gotten so bad that I’d awaken in the night with my eyelid stuck to my eye which was painful. You may want to check to see if this could be what is causing your dry eye issues. ❤
First time here...I saw a "short " of you modeling a boot look... You were so vibrant and personable and gorgeous to look at... When I connected your name from the short with this podcast I decided to take a look... I'm 76 yrs. old...and the hook for me was the BB foundation...WHO KNEW YOU'D BE SO DOWN TO EARTH...MAGICALLY CHARMING... You are simply lovely... 🙋🌹GA USA 🇺🇸👍 you're "joy" is to die for💕
I love how you try out all these products for us ..saving us time and money… I bought your BB cream and powder and love it. I get compliments with your eyeshadow, I’m using your brushes. I’m 70 and enjoying putting my makeup on every morning. It’s a good day. 😊 Thank You!
You truly are incredibly talented Nikol! You transformed that hot mess of a palette into a really beautiful look, and created a teachable experience. Thank you as always for your elegance and grace. ❤
I like you. You sound normal, down to earth, funny. I'm 71. I'm getting more cancer burned of my arm now and nose last month. I'm glad I ran into you!! Thank you. You are very pretty!
Timeless HA Setting Spray is found at Target but not at the link above for Clarins. Although the Rose is $6 more than the Lavender, they to seem to have similar properties just different scents.(?)
Just a thought for you. A couple of years ago when hyaluronic acid a Sodium hyaluronic first came out I bought an eye cream that left my under eyes beautifully moisturized. I also felt like I had ground glass in my eyes all night. Currently I cannot wear anything that contains hyaluronic acid in the product. I read every ingredient in every product I use. It appears that the hyaluronic acid pulls moisture from the air or any place else it can find it. Hence when I use hyaluronic acid it removes moisture from my eyes. You might want to look into this. Doctors don’t yet know that dry eyes are from ingredient you are using. I wish I knew where I found this information sadly I do not.
This was one of your best videos! You just came across as so honest, down to earth and truly interested in your viewers interests. You were looking out for us and I thank you. I am approaching 75 and take serious interest in info you have about mature people and makeup application. I have seen so much information being disseminated about the use of castor oil for skin/hair care. Have you used it or seen it and what are your views? I have been using it for about 6 weeks for skin care and it seems to have improved my skin as far as moisturizing and hiding the crow's feet. Is it my imagination? Thanks for all you do!
Really enjoyed this tutorial. I learnd a lot about salvaging a mess. Im slowly converting to all your products because they work best with my sensitive, dried out 81 year old skin. The eye primer, shadows, mascara and brightner are superstars for me.😊
I have extreme dry eye too. I was taking fish oil for it and it was helping a lot. I was told by my GI Dr to STOP taking fish oil because it was thinning my blood too much. Now I just put a thin layer of castor oil on my eye lids and under my eyes about 2 hrs before bed. It seems to help. Thanks for the tip on Lumify. I was using that too. Ughhh!
I don’t have a lot of money to spend on makeup but I think your BB creme sounds wonderful. I have to resort to Pixie’s H2O foundation which is a similar light weight foundation.
For dry eyes, look into Tyrvaya from your eye doctor. It is a nasal spray, but it will allow your eyes and lacrimal glands to express tears. Drops are ok too, but Tyrvaya is soooooooo worth it!! You can get it from your eye Dr. I use it 2x a day. It's a prescription. It will help your eyes all day. I rarely need drops anymore. Just a suggestion for you to help you... ❤❤❤❤
My new favorite shadow palette is a drugstore brand, Milani. It glides on nicely with very little fallout and the colors are gorgeous. And it was only $9. Hermes can keep their shadows. Price isn't everything, ladies!
I have bought your bb cream and it is just amazing. I have many expensive foundations but your bb cream is head and shoulders above them, I am so excited to finally find something that is right for me, thankyou
I purchased the ulike several months ago & I love that it doesn't hurt. It actually has a cold sensation when it touches your skin, results have been great. I do not use the glasses. I used another brand (TriaBeauty), it worked, but was too painful. My daughter & I share it, she would never have used it, if it was painful, she is also getting great results especially on her legs, the regrowth is no longer at 5 o'clock the same day, Lol. The texture of the hair on her legs is softer since using the ulike. Hope you enjoy yours, "Happy Zapping"
Nikol, you have made my morning laughing with you. May I just say it is rather comforting to see the ever calm Nikol having a moment❤️. I am 76 and was so interested in this title today. I am having the same problem with feeling makeup just sits on my skin. Even my favorite LaMer. I have never understood BB products(why aren’t BB creams foundation?) 😊 but recently I am unhappy with all my makeup. I am also an outdoor person very casual life style, but I still want to look put together. It helps that my boyfriend is 60 😱 . So again I will try a BB 😊. Thank you for being you. I love your shorts when you are trying on clothes it is absolutely amazing the outfits you find.
I am 74 and have switched almost exclusively to a BB Cream. I only use traditional foundation for nighttime formal events. So much better!!. Beautiful effect. Try it!
Love it when you try different beauty products, whether it’s great or not! I appreciate education. Thank you, Nikol, for all you do to experiment so we older women don’t have to!! Awaiting the lazer result!🌹
Yes! The BB creme instead of foundation! Works so well! Love it! I don't think it's only for age (I'm in 60s). Before I found your BB creme I used Sisley Teinted moisturizer which is wonderful too. Please note my 35 year old daughter tossed out the foundation (too heavy on HER beautiful skin...young women let your lovely skin show through also.) She now uses Nikol's BB creme and still loves the Sisley teinted moisturizer. Nikol maybe try that product on your channel. Love it too. Thanks so much!!!🎉
I love seeing you and your mom together. She is beautiful. You really brought out her lovely eyes and lips. I'm 71 and fair skined with white/gray hair cool toned skin and think the same colors/products would be perfect for me.
Love watching your videos!! Im 80 and use very little makeup.. I would like to get something very light, to help even out my complexion . After your suggestion today , i believe I will try the Bb creme light!! I will have to use a Drugstore brand. Im from a very small town in Missouri.. I may be getting older, but do want to look my best.. Thanks , for giving us information on what to use and how to use products!!!
Enjoy your makeup tutorials.Learn so much.I especially enjoy your clips of you modeling your fashion. So fun to watch. You seem to be free and happy when you are modeling and dancing to the music. You are beautiful, real ,sincere…rare today.
Oh my gosh! 😂😂😂 Your running commentary in this video was so funny!!! 🧑🍳 💋 Last Monday, I made a huge mess on my face with Chanel’s Claire Obscur palette and I just took it off and started over with The Cabana. And then I got online and ordered Le Bottled Blonde. 🎉🎉🎉 Your eyeshadows have spoiled me. ❤ They are so beautiful, so easy, and so reliable and I know they will turn out perfect every time. Thank you!
I have been very consistent with the Kenzi and now only do it once a month; I have been quite successful of getting rid of the hair unless the little darling is white.
I put on makeup to go to home improvement and paint stores. They're full of cute men! 🤣🤣 I switched to a tinted moisturizer around age 45, because foundation just didn't work for me anymore. I recently discovered bronze drops, and I add a few drops to it to give me a sunny "glow" for Spring and Summer. Always happy to see your videos! ❤️⚡
Thank you Nikol for this entertaining video. We have all experienced frustration with products we purchased that didn’t measure up to hype. I love your products and use them everyday.
I usually don’t bother with make up, but I do like it for special occasions. I found using a brush for blending instead of a sponge helps me get coverage using less.
So refreshing to use a product that Nikol wasn't impressed with. Thanks for the honesty. I bet you have saved a lot of women money. Jacquie. London UK.
Nikol, I appreciate your demos with various products and honest opinions of the products. I don't wear a lot of makeup and am a retired 67 year old so I budget my money. I don't mind paying for a good product. I have fair/sensitive skin and use mostly Clinique products. I stick to creamy dewey looking blush.
You are always so elegant Nikol. Even if you weren't happy with your eye look, you pulled if off with your confidence and elegant class. I always enjoy your videos. 🤩😍
I'm 77 and have broken capillaries on my cheeks. Nothing I try really covers those red veins. My hair was a golden red all my life but turning gray. What foundation should I use. Thank you for your help to us older gals!!
Nikol, you made my day today!! I was thinking of you going in to the paint store, and wondering what you were thinking about!! You looked beautiful to me 💜💜
Well this video lifted my whole morning. We can all identify with spending a bundle and being hugely disappointed. The "green hair" at the end made me fall on the floor. Thank god for rose-scented spray, hahaha! Thanks for always telling it like it is, Nikol. Happy paint shopping!
I heard that sea buckthorn oil helps with dry eye & even vaginal dryness! Agreed about the refills! Understand about choosing paint colors, tile, counters, etc. Do over until you are happy! I must admit, I've been staying away from eyeshadow because of my hooded lids & can't seem to make it look right. Love the blue on you. ❤️❤❤
On point about the shadows & especially the costs. You are si beautiful, it takes alot, between your beauty & skills of beauty treatments & make uo to mess you up, since you have alot of experience, regarding these matters. You bring such care & class & fashion for women. Blessings!
I was having a blue sort of day but your video really lifted me up! Love your honesty and humor! Also, I bought a blue eyeshadow palette a few weeks ago because of a recommendation on one of your videos, and as crazy as it sounds, I paid $8.00 (on sale from Ulta, a brand I’ve never heard of, and cheap!). I absolutely love it!
❤🎉 love your updates and testing of products. And your opinions on products. I hope your hair removal isn't a torture device. Can't wait to see the color pink and cream. I know it will be beautiful ❤️
I like your experimenting. I have spent allot of money as well on eyeshadows that do not blend well and super frustrating so I stay away from shadows all together. Nobody on You tube has ever shown the issues with makeup. I appreciated this tutorial more than your perfect ones.
Hi Nikol....Quick question....I purchased your eye primer which I LOVE! I was recently on vacation and forgot concealer. I used your amazing primer as a concealer....I feel like your eye primer can double as a concealer?! Thank you for such a great product and appreciate both your time and feedback.
O my gosh yes!!!!! Will try!! Just can’t do anything “covery” any more. Screams fake! Even just bits of concealer padded around with a “sponge” is much better than any foundation on my older wiser face! Even tinted sunscreen! Thank you!! ❤
Thanks for the great video and giving us a laugh! As a dark haired woman (now half grey) I've had hair "problems" all my life. I've used the Tria, now another brand that indeed does not hurt but also does not help really with hair on my face grrr...I did IPL treatments in the past, cost me a LOT of money and the hair came back fiercer than ever. PLEASE keep us updated on the device you purchased, it's greatly appreciated, thanks for your great videos!
I have purchased many of your products and I am very happy with everything I’ve tried. So happy I found you Nikol❣️Especially love the BB cream. You are a gem; honest, fun, informative. Thank you so much Nikol❤

I've been moving all day. I'm completely and utterly exhausted. I really needed this video today. Thank you for being so real with us. I so appreciate it.
RE: DRY EYES
Wearing contacts and eyelash serums will cause dry eye.
👏👏👏
A friend developed dry eye after using Tretinoin for 10 years. Makes sense the HA could pull moisture from your skin/tissue.
You are so informative! I truly enjoy your videos ! I learn so much , bonus you are so professional yet down to earth ! Thank you !
Ughhh!
I was thinking about it but won't now because I too have dry eye. 😊
Organic castor oil!
Try it!
Thank you ! Love your tutorials .You and your Mom are so Blessed!
Love this video! I like the idea of using a BB cream and adding a touch of cream bronzer.
Love it when you try different beauty products, whether it’s great or not! I appreciate education. Thank you, Nikol, for all you do to experiment so we older women don’t have to!! Awaiting the lazer result!🌹
The makeup turned out great, natural yet polished look. Thank you for all the tips.
I wanted to let you know that I purchased your brush set and i'm loving it. Using the correct tools makes all the difference in the world. Thank you.❤
As always very pleased to feel as an older woman someone is addressing my concerns.
I'm 81. Unless your skin is oily be sure you moisturizer before using the BB creme
Last Monday, I made a huge mess on my face with Chanel’s Claire Obscur palette and I just took it off and started over with The Cabana. And then I got online and ordered Le Bottled Blonde. 🎉🎉🎉 Your eyeshadows have spoiled me. ❤ They are so beautiful, so easy, and so reliable and I know they will turn out perfect every time. Thank you!
This is so heartwarming thank you for sharing! I am so happy you love my eyeshadows 😘😘😘😘
I have been very consistent with the Kenzi and now only do it once a month; I have been quite successful of getting rid of the hair unless the little darling is white.
Love! This video Nicole! So authentic and fun! Even a pro like you can be disgruntled and struggle with makeup! Keep on keeping on!
I put on makeup to go to home improvement and paint stores. They're full of cute men! 🤣🤣
I switched to a tinted moisturizer around age 45, because foundation just didn't work for me anymore.
So love your channel!! Can’t wait until you are shipping to Australia. Thankyou for continuing to motivate ❤
I have been using tinted moisturizer instead of foundation! I’d love to try your BB cream!
I usually don’t bother with make up, but I do like it for special occasions. I found using a brush for blending instead of a sponge helps me get coverage using less.
So refreshing to use a product that Nikol wasn't impressed with. Thanks for the honesty. I bet you have saved a lot of women money. Jacquie. London UK.
I love Nikol and I use all her products. and I really appreciate that she thinks about how to adapt for an aging face.
I love your energy and you’re cracking me up too simple straight facts from you. .
Always fun to watch with your sense of humor. Love how you keep it real!
I love your authenticity and diplomatic candor.
Tip is to mix a powder shadow on your hand with some primer, then it may pigment and hold better. Worth a shot.
Understand…same concern.
99 cents is what I paid for 4 yrs. now
Im 70 and love this look, more that kind of videos.Love from Liisa Sweden ❤
Hi Nikol, I love your oh so honest makeup reviews. You are so funny with your comments! You made my day!
I’ve been using Thrive eyeshadow pencils. Love their Muna color! You may like it! Easy to blend
❤🎉 love your updates and testing of products. And your opinions on products. I hope your hair removal isn't a torture device. Can't wait to see the color pink and cream. I know it will be beautiful ❤️
For dry eye, you may wish to try Evening Primrose oil capsules. Cold pressed, up to 1300 mg per day.💐
Thanks for the tip!
I will keep you posted on my results from the new laser hair removal I bought
I have purchased many of your products and I am very happy with everything I’ve tried. So happy I found you Nikol❣️Especially love the BB cream. You are a gem; honest, fun, informative. Thank you so much Nikol❤
