Youth and young adults want to do and learn everything on their own. They don't want advice from older persons. Older persons are ignored in the workplace also.
I am 78 and have always worn make-up, especially since I am so fair I look like I am ill without colour on my face. For the last two years I have had one illness after another. Heart problems, lung cancer, a growth on my kidney, and a broken ankle! My life has been turned upside down and I thought "why bother" Your video has given me courage to pick myself up and carry on. 😊
nothing to do with getting vaccinated? I'm just asking because I got thyroid kidney and other problems of an auto immune nature, had three years of fatigue and illness, but getting better still tired though. My kidney tumours got better, my hair grew back and my thyroiditis went away and my Graves is almost back to pre vaccine immunity I'm almost ready to go off medication. My body just took a beating from my own immune reaction. got Afib that went away as well. hang in there. all the best to you. 78 is young !
If as an over seventy lady you ever feel like society does not value you, society needs you more than ever. It needs your kindness, love, warmth, empathy, nurture, wisdom and understanding. These are unique qualities which come from the unique experience of becoming an older woman. Thank goodness for the wonderful, more mature women in society.
Thank you! I’m almost 50 with no children and feel like an old tissue that society wants nothing to do with. I needed your kind words today. Wishing you the best!
We feel like] were throwaway because society considers us throwaway. Of course it hurts to suddenly lose all our human rights. I don’t think ageism is thought of as an important issue, because society doesn’t! Maybe in some future generation this will be addressed, but I highly doubt it, it’s so ingrained. Unless someone’s born into a country that has it down, we’re all out of luck. We’re just something to mock and abuse, for now!
I’m 63 and I feel like women age faster in the way society sees us. We’re almost invisible. My single or divorced friends have always told me how hard it is to meet quality men in their age groups too. Seems like the older men get the younger the women have to be.
I just went to visit a beloved neighbor who just turned 104. She does make up and dresses stylishly every day in assisted living home and is very pretty. Very sharp and a joy to visit.
Nice to see someone mention beauty for 70+ women. Looking our best is not just for 20-40 year olds! In fact, I have more time + money + inclination for makeup, skincare, and curating my wardrobe now than ever before. And I’m looking good (even if I do say so myself! ) 😊
I am soon to be 73 and my husband tells me every day how much he appreciates the fact that I take care of myself. Although I do it primarily for me, it means so much that he notices. Love you message, Nikol!
Thanks for this! I'm 71 and not giving up! I love wearing make-up, still rocking longish blonde hair, staying as stylish as I can and pumping heavy iron 3-4 hours a week. Muscle up, Ladies. It makes all the difference in your health, energy, vitality, youthfulness, strength, independence and sexiness.
I agree, it’s just sad, because of all the micro , and MACRO insults hurled our way. I felt like I looked just fine when I went shopping a few days ago, but I was called an “OLD WITCH”, and had my property hurled away from me. Crazy people are everywhere, but\ it was the lack of concern from the millennial “manager”, who only cared about the crazy lady, gave me a candy bar, and then told that “don’t you know age doesn’t matter”? I think exactly that, but both she and the crazy lady bonded against me! Having violating nightmares every night since, gee, thanks for the organic candy bar. Next time I’ll call the police! Laws apply to millennials, too!
Well I past 90 in April , I have been doing make up all my life May I ask u not to speak so quickly , I can hardly catch up with your wisdom , so speak little slower Yes I am learning every day from you Even if my husband said I am beautiful as is Keep it up ( I reside in Canada)
@@mirakohn2798 If you are on your computer, there is a little wheel along the bottom of the video next to the CC. Hit that and one of the options is Playback speed. You can set it to slower than normal. I use this all the time to speed up or slow down speakers to suit me. You can do it on the phone as well but it will be easier to find on the computer first.
Apparently u don't have a screwed up body. You would be picking up much of nothing because you'd like to get out of bed the next morning. Amazing me the bragging because they don't know the other side. I hope you don't ever.
Ahhhj! TY Nikol! Loved this! Been watching you for months! I'm 71 and my daughter was a makeup artist. Sadly, she passed away from breast cancer diagnosed while pregnant with her 2nd baby. My cancer came back to and I had a dbl mastectomy. My daughter and I had the best relationship and she always did my makeup! I miss her so much. Enjoy watching you with your mom!! Thankyou for this video. Since my sweet Adrianne can not be here to help me, I have found you. Thank you for helping us older folks! You are so right about it doesn't even matter if anyone sees us as we do it for ourselves! Very uplifting!! : )
I lost my daughter too in 2015. She was my best friend. I feel in some ways Nikol has helped me get through the loss. I turn 72 next week. Thinking of you.
Fantastic segment! I am 71 and a former makeup artist. So...I love makeup and this tutorial for women over 70 hit home. Brightening your face and the shinier lipsticks/glosses can make such an impact in your looks and your attitude. Seventy is the new 50 in my book. Thanks so much for this much-needed video!
The problem is there. 70 is not the new 50. Don't fool your self. I'm 63 and I have not forgotten what I thought of people in their 60's when I was 20...30... And you , what were your sincerely thoughts ? Don't answer me. Answer your self. Please, be real. Selective memory is a plague.
@@cameliap1146 make the best of yourself whatever the age. when you look at old programmes where people are supposed to be pensioners etc they can look old, frumpy, smile more it makes all the difference, you be old if you want to, perhaps 70 not the new 50 but not far off.
I just turned 66 in July…I don’t care if I don’t go out…I do skincare always!!..Hair and makeup, daily!!..that will NEVER change!!!…I feel good for ME!…you have helped me so much with this, Nikol, thank you my little movie star!…you look fabulous!!!!..always!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I feel the same way. I’m the same age and I’ve done it all my life - for me! It makes me feel good. I feel younger and healthier. It inspires me to get out and exercise among other activities. It puts smile on my face every morning☺️🌹☀️
@@krissto22 me too! I always think (unless I’m sick or just doing a down day) I can choose to look like I want to look or not. Most days I choose to do what makes ME feel good! Not an issue if others appreciate it 🤷♀️
I'm 62 and look amazing! I do it for me but it really does help my business. 😂. We all got this. Woman supporting women to help each other look amazing for oneself!! Be blessed and continue to look amazing!! 🙏❤️
66 here, too, last August and I’m having more fun with makeup than ever. I just had a very stressful year with no time for myself, very few occasions to look good, but that’s behind me, I’m at peace again and buying all the pretty, happy lipsticks I can afford.
I went to a memorial this weekend for a sister in-law. 95% of people in attendance: 75 years years young. The energy there was ecstatic. Most of the woman wore minimum make up. They were stunning. To a nineteen year old they were "old" to me a 60 year old, they were fabulous. They were beautiful to the bone, when they smiled, it was like seeing happiness itself. The most important thing is to do what makes you happy. Of course you want others to be happy, but you must remember happiness starts in one's heart and then spreads like wild fire. Sending my blessing to all.
A little makeup doesn’t cancel out the happy you. 😉. I don’t do it to try deny my age. I find it fun to play around with and always trying new products. If someone is surprised by my age, that’s just a small bonus.
I think there are far too many ítems, repeating themselves on same areas of de skin. I Will need to invest a Lot o many to purchase all that pieces of make up. All I want Is to put a little bit of colour on my hace and look fresh. And do it in about 15 minutes only. 😢
I'm 77, a simply love your videos, & all the support you give us 'mature' ladies. I put my face on every day, worked for many years and the habit 'stuck'. Now it just makes ME feel good every morning. Still love learning new ideas & tricks, but keep it Simple not over-done.
I taught for a long time nd wore makeup every day. One day I used a new eye shadow, and one of my boys said, “I didn’t know you wore makeup!” I told them that was the idea of makeup - to enhance what you have. Well, now that I’ve retired, I’ve hardly worn makeup. This week I decided that I didn’t have to go “faceless” just because I’m retired!
I am so glad I found you. I am a 66 years old grandmother from the Netherlands. Last year I have been in coma for 5 weeks because of lung Covid. I was given up by the doctors but my oldest son,who has progressive MS,asked them to give me a bit more time…so in a way he saved me because I am still here.😊 My skin has really suffered because of the medication and you just now gave me a few tricks I can really use. I can’t afford very expensive makeup so I am going to watch the videos you have about cheaper products. Thank you for all this.🙏🏻🥰
You look absolutely stunning 👩🏻🦳💖 I will be 68 on August 22nd and have been retired for 12 years and I still do my makeup 💄 daily, eyes, lips, eyebrows and concealer. Morning and evening skincare, this makes me happy ♥️
Hey Louise, I turned 68 in February. It's been great so far! Lots of changes. First I lost 30 pounds. Then I moved from California to North Carolina. Drove through 9 states to get here. Road Trip! I love it here. I'm usually not good with change, but a benefit of being retired is you can go wherever you want. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and I'm so glad I did! Nikol is right. Positive affirmations work, and thanks to her makeup tips I now look as young as I feel. Have a wonderful birthday and enjoy life to the fullest![
I get a bit “lazy” about putting on makeup now that I’m retired. These videos remind me that the effort is worth it for how much better I feel knowing I’m looking my best. Even if the only place I’m going is down to the mailbox! I’m worth the the effort. Thank you for reminding me!! ♥️
@@carolsummers8734 This is making me think about doing a little more too. My eyebrows have almost disappeared, so I never fail to do them because I feel like I'm not awake without them. My lashes have also dropped away but I might do a little eyeliner on the water line. Blush & lipstick -- all that takes less than 5 minutes now. To me, it's just about feeling like I can face the public since I'm otherwise alone.
Bravo! Turning 73 in a few weeks and feeling fabulous! Your philosophy matches mine. Thank you for being a champion of pro-aging in beauty! Here's to aging in full bloom! Love your channel and love you!
Loved this video! I’m 79 and avoid wearing makeup because it settles in my face lines. I am excited to try your concealer tips! Can you also do a video showing us where you find your vintage clothing? I think we would love that! 💜
I am so in love with your Mom. I just turned 70 in March and it has been hard. I purchased the items you used on your Mom and took a picture to send you. Still haven’t had the nerve 😂 Thanks so much for focusing on us “mature” women ❤️
Nikol, you are so gorgeous, and seeing your beautiful mom and aunt, I see where you get it! Thank you for thinking of us - the over 70 group! I turned 70 (yikes!) this year, and I love makeup! I enjoy your channel and all your tips geared to all women!
I'll be 70 in less than year, and I'm still a high school English teacher. I am very happy to share my love of life and beauty with the younger generation.
Hello, how're you doing? I pray this year brings great Joy, Love, Happiness and Peace to you, and your house hold. You must be a nice and intelligent woman due to the words you commented on this video.❤ Your words are so amazing, and i will love to talk to you. Am John Patrick from Nashville Tennessee, where are you from if i may ask?
Im 65, makeup is really new to me. Ive been a care giver all my adult life with very little to no time for me and now that im retired ive have thrown my self into beauty treatments and makeup, nails and loving it. I really enjoy you tutorials and have inproved my look and im recieving compliment on my more glam look. Thank you doll you are beautiful and have inspired me
Once I got over the shock of the 1990's being "vintage"...what?! ;) I really enjoyed this video and learned some great ideas. Always love seeing makeup and skin care for the 60 plus woman!
I appreciate your closing remarks. I am 71. I have two sisters who call it primping when I take time with makeup. “Who cares? I don’t want to bother with it” are said. I agree that it gives me a boost and I don’t see why I shouldn’t. Thanks very informative videos.
Thank you so much for your inspiring words!!! I fell like you were my cheerleader today. I needed to hear this!! I just turned 72. I have chronic pain, rarely get dressed and rarely venture past the front door. I have really been “down”the past few days and I truly believe God’s hand guided my hand to click on your video today to hear your beautiful words of encouragement!! Thank you so much for being a lighthouse for me today. May God bless you and I pray I can pay it forward and be a lighthouse for someone else. You are beautiful inside and out. And God is using you. 😇
Hi Janet, I understand chronic pain. I was a very healthy child and no real issues raising my family. 70 yrs and pain comes and goes. I try to dress well & use thrift shops to buy cute clothes to look fresh & nice for low cost. I find CVS coupons help me get makeup at lower prices. I have kept friends for years and that is my secret for those quiet days and keep depression limited. Nikol is off the chart for teaching us about makeup, she is like our personal expert. Eat well, try and get a walk daily, your body needs your best efforts. Prayers we have a wonderful day ❤️
I have pain too. Starting new life. I am family matriarch now at 63. Finding myself, Walking with Jesus thru it all. Considering moving near sister and neices... Keep our purpose moving ladies and Glow! Inspired today. We shall overcome! 🥰💖🙏👣🌈🌞 🎉🎁💄🎶📖
Thank you !! Almost 75 and have been doing what you are for several years now. It really helps to feel like one is valuable and able when we put our best face forward and keep a good skin regimen. 💙👍🏼🥰
You will be modeling till 100yrs. old. You and your mom are beautiful inside and outside. You represent yourself with integrity and an upbeat spirit and are an encouragement to your audience. Thanks for being real.I'm 70 and was getting very critical of myself, but not since watching your videos. I'm still in the race and your tutorials have been beneficial and they work wonders!!!
You look fantastic! Thank you for all the research you do & share! When you said chamomile was in one of your products, I had to comment. I am highly allergic to chamomile ----supposedly it is extracted from rag-weed, which I am also highly allergic to. Once when I was doing a Saturday morning facial at home, I decided to do the "tea-bags on the eyes" to really jazz up my facial. I had my egg white facial on also. As I laid down, I placed damp tea bags on my eyes and dreamed of how beautiful I would be. 😱LOL! My eyes began to itch; my nose started to itch; my eyes began to burn. I got up, splashed water on my face and eyes, and ran to the kitchen. I had mistakenly used chamomile tea bags. Instead of looking like 😇, I looked like 🥴! Took an antihistamine; laid down with a cool washcloth on my eyes and cancelled our plans. 😢 Hope you read this and consider making some products chamomile -free! 😀 Bless you as you continue to educate us! 🙏❤️✌️
I'm 72, and as much as I appreciate the specialized tips for older gals, your last few minutes were so very motivating, really inspiring, to take some moments to lift ourselves up, freshen our look for our own mental and emotional well being! Thank you for that reminder!
I love your channel. You are so encouraging to us more mature ladies. I'm 63, I always put myself together weather I'm going out of the house or not. It just makes me feel better.
I’m 71 and turning that age was hard for me, too! Watching this video inspired me to kick up my colors because I was caught in a time warp & my skin just looked blah. So…I changed up a few things to: Nars Orgasm-X blush, Charlotte Tilbury Oyster Pearl shadow, Nars Light matte bronzer and Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer vs foundation (your products are sold out!!). The changes refreshed & energized my look and took off at least five years. The matte bronzer was a surprise because I always used glow, but it’s great because it’s a much softer look & I can dust on shine (Benefit Shimmering Dandelion) exactly where I want it! Thank you: I love your channel - you’re so gorgeous and SO IS YOUR MOM: please tell her I said so! 💁🏼♀️
Thankyou! I recently turned 73. And although I have kept aging at bay, this year i see a real difference in my skin. Thankyou for the color corrector advise for the eye area. I have learned much from your videos!
what a pretty look! I stopped wearing eyeshadow a few years ago because I feel it emphasizes my crinkly eyelids, but that plum shadow is so cool. I love your message in all of your videos!!
Love your message. We all need to be kind to ourselves - at all ages. I am a makeup artist and try to share this type of message too. Most women need a daily pep talk from and to themselves.
Wonderful video, Nicole!! Cannot say enough how much I needed this! I’m blessed to be a young-looking 77 but I haven’t worn makeup for 2 years because of the pandemic and political issues. I’ve always taken good care of my skin, but I am going to start wearing makeup again because of your encouragement. Thank you SO much!!!
I'm 60 and it's so nice to see someone over 40 giving makeup tips. Your beautiful and love the tips you give. That photo shoot was gorgeous. I just found you been watching several tutorials.
Thank you for taking the time for us 70 and over! Skin care is very important especially as we get older. Would love for you to do a fashion video for over 70 girls!
Please give us a tour of your wardrobe - your current favorite pieces, purchasing scores, etc. p.s. Your mom is beautiful! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Loving it. ♥
Yes, we matter! The world is depending upon US, ladies, to save it from itself. Nobody knows as much as we do, with all of our practical experience and big willing hearts.
So, true, Nikol! I put on makeup for myself. It’s my time just for me. And, I practice the tips and tricks so when they’re needed I won’t be flailing. Thanks!!
I've gone through what I have said is "the perfect storm" when it comes to makeup. I recently turned 71 but I'd always thought I was holding back the hounds of age. I do have good skin and very few wrinkles but what a wake up call I got after recently having cataract surgery. My face sent me into shock. I discovered huge issues with uneven skin tone and although I've always known I had awful dark (charcoal) circles I realized after the surgery that I have giant bags, too. I'm hoping that this video will give me some hints and help! Thanks, Nikol!
@@aliasrose Very true a s to avoid magnifying mirrors or ANY mirrors once out enjoying myself - my new eye glasses gave ME a shock also 🤣 Skin looks 100 years older since the isolation but now l make up every day again. NIKOL is the tonic l needed.
This is what I have just experienced also. I am 75 and had cataract surgery a week ago. My skin now has an uneven tone - much worse than before the surgery. I just can’t explain this. I still hope it’s going to change again.
Hello, Nikol ! I love all of your videos. I am 72 and have been a make up and skin care junkie since I was 14 yrs old. Back in that day, noxema and cover girl were the go to's for me. Wow, have we come a long way ! I strive to be current and age appropriate with my grooming and clothing. Your videos are so encouraging and informative for all of us ladies to maintain our beauty . It isn't a " chore " for me to use make up since I enjoy experiencing with new products. I have purchased some of your products and they are not only beautiful, perform as you state they will, but, of high quality. Thank you for all of your encouragement, once in a while, one likes to have that " reinforcement " ! Linda from Nevada
As a 77 year old woman who ALWAYS wore makeup, i stopped during the pandemic and solved my issues by not looking into a mirror! I decided to start wearing it again, but nothing is the same. Guess I’ve aged in the last 4 years❤️. Because of you, I’m about to try a whole new regime of make up for old ladies😀. Thank you, I think.
I just discovered your channel and I love you! My skin is starting to show some aging and my previous way of wearing makeup did not look right. I started following your tips this week and I look fabulous! I didn’t tell my husband and he thinks I’m beautiful all the time, but this week he was even more exuberant in his compliments!!! I know these techniques are working really well after 4 straight days of his “wow, Baby!” compliments. Thank you so much for sharing your radiance and love for the community.
I'm 71. Found you a few months ago and I've ordered a bunch of your product. Love it! I'm thrilled with your videos and feeling better about myself and honoring my age and myself. You're fabulous. Thanks for what you do for all of us ladies of a certain age!
Hello Nikol! I love checking out the over 50 RUclipsrs and so glad I stopped by your channel. It’s very inspiring to see mature ladies encouraging and inspiring us to be our best selves as we grow older. I love to say “Getting older is inevitable, but aging is a choice. We can choose how we age and makeup can be an important part of the aging process! I am 70 and recently started my channel- Theboomerbelle-Living beyond! I’m so excited for this journey! Ihope to inspire the over 50’s to live beyond the negative stereotypes so often touted by Western culture by continuing to enjoy life, travel, have adventures and maintain physical and emotional health! Thank you for your contribution to the senior community of ladies who want to live their best life! And thanks for the encouragement! I’m learning from the best!
Dear Nikol, thank you for your courage! You have been an inspiration for me for the past several months. I watched your videos and listened to you with open arms and ears. You have inspired me in a way that only a few people have, lately. You are the epitome of elegance and decent social conscience! I went to a beautiful hair stylist during the week of Thanksgiving last year and showed her a shot of you and your beautiful bob and she gave me the most beautiful hair cut!!! I have let myself go to the dogs and cats I have rescued for the past 30+ years. I am an assistant teacher in a kindergarten class. Inevitably my students ask me "How old are you?" I tell them 500 million years old!😂 I took your advice and ordered all of these makeup accouterments (sp)? and have not deployed them yet. I'm not sure why I haven't. I found my first white hair when I was 15. I used to cover it with dye when I was in my 20s and 30s. I let that go in my 40s. Now, I'm told you have the most beautiful hair by complete strangers! Whenever I hear that, I think of you. Standing up for women of all ages, for all generations!!! From the bottom of my SOUL, thank you Nikol!!!
Such great tips. That eye shadow color brings out your eyes. Along with the makeup would love your advice on picking eye glass frames shape and shades, and make up tips for glasses wearers.
You are so right. I’m so glad I found you. I went to the store but before I did I put on my makeup as you taught me. There is a friend of my son who was there and saw me. He asked if I had a facelift done while I was in Germany. Boy was I holding my head up high and strutting my stuff. I felt younger than 60 something. Thank you.
Love this simple but put together look! I just turned the big 80 and my hair is all white now so I am finding that colors do matter . If things are to light I color it washes me out so I now wear brighter lipstick and blush is a must. You are right about that under eye area and what you need to do correct it. Thanks 😊
Beautiful women in your family! I am 61 and feeling it. Covid battle for a month. Finally feeling better. But my skin has just been neglected and shows it. Thank you for the video.
I’ve just discovered your channel, Nikol, at just the right time! I’m 68, and your tips have given me hope! I especially appreciate your attitude and the respect you show for women my age and older. You have a new fan for life.❤️
So appreciate your channel. I am recovering from Covid and Covid Pneumonia. It takes a real stress on your body, mind and skin. It is now my 6th month. It is hard to see your reflection looking so tired. I am 80, but never looked tired. You loose weight, no sleep, lot's of body pain and this is still how I feel even after 6 months. You give me hope. Thank you ❤
Thank you for helping me. I sell makeup, and I’ve been doing my Grandmothers makeup. She loves it and she’s the best lady in the world! She does for everyone and no one does for her but me. It makes me mad. So anything to make Mammy happy makes me happy. I just started out so I can’t really afford to buy her the stuff I would like too. She’s happy though. Especially when I do her feet for her (and I hate feet lol but it’s MAMMY)! She it’s fine!
Love how you show us different options on all makeup whether it’s high end or low end because you show us it works. I love taking care of my face and I’ve learned a lot from you from the tips and full video’s. Thank you so much!! 😊
I love that you are focusing today on those of us over 70. I am a woman who often says “oh why bother, I’m not going anywhere”. But, you just showed me that is wrong! I need to freshen my face for me! Thank you Nikol!
As always thank you for the great makeup tips!!! Im 71 and still need to keep up on all of the new skincare and makeup products!! I enjoy watching you very much! 🙂
You're simply beautiful ...I turned 60 this year, I use to be a makeup artist for Lancome for several years...Thank you for the encouraging and up lifting words...
Nikol, even in 4k your skin looks wonderful, which is a real credit to your skin care routine. I've learned so much watching you and I'm happier with my skin than I have been in years because of it.
I am 70 and never ever had any eyelashes…my precious daughter bought NU CIL eyelash enhancing serum……..I HAVE LONG EYELASHES FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME and have gotten COMPLIMENTS from young men telling me I have BEAUTIFUL EYES….how about that….please get your mom some for Valentine’s Day…..I really feel pretty and so fancy with real eyelashes!!!!!! Hugs carolyn….forgot….just put on eyelashes at night….saw results in one week!! I have the greatest daughter ever…love you Heather
Thanks for this information about color correction! In a future video, please discuss using concealer and color correction for crepey, lined under-eye skin. So many of us struggle with this issue and using concealer often ends up looking worse than leaving it alone. I'm enjoying your content!
Oh my goodness…how happy am I to have found you!!! I just turned 70, a silver curly girl. Two time breast cancer survivor and all the chemo and radiation does to a body and mindset. My brows are super thin and different shades of hair…white, black and a few others to boot. My eyes and brows are definitely sisters… not twins. One eye is hooded the other not. I love, love, love your video, makeup for women in their 70’s… how Grand to help us!!! I don’t have a lot of money at all, yet want to look my best. I am going to check out your cosmetic line, as well to watch every video you made. My many thanks from a young at heart 70 year woman, who want to look her best. PS…still have to work full time, but I think it helps keep me young!
YES! It sounds vain, but I put on my makeup everyday for myself. I was a very little girl when I decided I would look as pretty every day as I would on my wedding day. And except for rare occasions I've done just that. I love what you do, Nikol.
@NikolJohnson-You are so gracious and chiming and I just love watching you. I am in my early 50’s and I “force” my my husband to care for his skin. He actually loved it. He is outdoorsy but he cleans up well and secretly, he loves the pampering!
Absolutely the best I have seen on RUclips, I am turning 70 this year. I learned a lot from this one video. I love makeup but hardly wear it since I retired, thank you so much!
Always love your spot on informative AND entertaining videos💖. Turning 70 Jan 1! Holy cow!! Yes, all about skin care this past 2 yrs- and RetinA and all new makeup from your suggestions💖. Much gratitude for giving me hope👍🏻💋 since my best ,least aged feature, are my eyes....that is what I concentrate on!!
Thank you so much. Just discovered you last night. I watched your videos & shorts until 3:00 a.m. Wow !!! I am about to turn 70 in Feb. (Now 2024) I have been so desparate for make up & skin care help. I have been taking note of your makeup line & your suggestions. Thank you so very much for your encouragement & lessons
Nikol, I can't thank you enough! I've been struggling with deep circles, darkness and puffiness surrounding my eyes after having had four sinus surgeries over the past several years. You have been a Godsend to me! So incredibly helpful and I've learned so much! I can't wait to receive the Just Peachy and Nikita Banana powder to go along with the brightener/corrector that I had already ordered. It's been a struggle to feel and look myself, and your videos, including this one, have been SO wonderful. Btw, I'm a very YOUNG 64 ;))
This is so encouraging, I dont have any of the products you mentioned but hopefully I can get one at a time. I turned 75 this year & I needed your positive outlook on makeup for my age. I didnt need makeup until I was 30, but now I love it & dont want to leave the house without my lipstick! Bless you for being so positive about continuing to wear makep even as I age ❤❤❤❤
Nikol, I purchased your eye primer & I love it. It is easy to apply, blends well, and covers this little discoloration mark I have right below my left eyebrow. My shadow goes on beautifully, no creasing, no color fading & last all day. I was so exhausted last Wednesday, I had an epidural in my back & it put me in a lot pain. I took a muscle relaxer & it knocked me out. Needless to say, I accidentally fell asleep with my makeup on. The next morning I looked in the mirror and I still had flawlessly beautiful eye makeup on. I’ve never had an eye primer work so great. Like you, I love makeup. I worked as a makeup artist for many years. Considering how many eye primers I have in my makeup draw (or I should say makeup closet,) I’ve tried once & tossed in the drawer, I am so IMPRESSED with your product.

Your Mum looks beautiful .You have inspired me to keep on valuing myself enough to wear subtle , pretty makeup shades . Can't thank you enough !
I am 70 years old and have been wanting to try some new make up , your video was perfect. I ordered peachy color corrector , bb cream light to med and eye lid concealer. Excited to get them. Thank you and have a good day.😊🌸
Thankyou so much Nikol. As a worn out soon to retire ICU Nurse I appreciate all you said about doing it for yourself and that noone is coming to tell you the positive things you need to hear so do it for you and it will make you feel good. Thank you Thank you!!!
Great video, great message as always. I am not a big fan of eyeshadows but I am a big fan of colour corrector and groomed skin. Thank you and greetings from Austria dear Nikol! 👍🌹
I learn something every time I view this video. I’ll be 76 the 19th and I love all things feminine. I wear makeup 😢everyday. It makes me forget the pain I have from autoimmune diseases. I watch your channel while applying my makeup. I think I look beautiful, too. Thanks. 🙋♀️☕️❤️🙏🇺🇸
Nicol, you’re awesome and also a sweetheart. You are so knowledgeable you have taught me so much. I 77 years old is victim of domestic abuse recent as August 8 and your videos keep me going. I look forward to Them all. When I leave my small amount of make up will be the first thing I Pack. It boost my spirits. You are such a lovely lady and so honest. The honesty is what has attracted me. Especially because of what I am going through. My hardest far is my eyes. They are very small and green. No matter what I use for a liner it smears. I need some thing maybe you could suggest the best company for me. God bless sweetie thank you with all my heart and may you always be safe and in the hand of God Mary Ellen
I am not 70 yet, and starting to make my routine simpler and natural with great brows and (as my daughters would say when they were young) beautiful lips. Been a subscriber for ages and need these videos more than ever to feel great when my make-up is on. Thanks!
I have learned so much from you! I agree, you don’t have to have a million skin products….as long as you have sensible skin care. I’m 50 and lucky to have Asian skin but your methods make me look even younger, thank you so much!
I went out yesterday and purchased a Peach under eye concealer by NYX, and also purchased their serum concealer. Used them this morning, and got great results. I'm 58, and loving your channel
What an awesome video!!! You are the first makeup artist that has addressed this age group which includes myself. It's just like you said, once you get older you are supposed to look like an old hag. You are ssooo uplifting!! Thanks so much.
You are a GOD SENT!! You encourage me, you inspire me. You make me believe in myself… where all of this comes from inside you, especially at such a young age, I have no idea! I’m in my seventy’s and I’m just learning , through YOU, my own self worth and caring. It’s so freeing, and when I hear your affirmations, and see your gorgeous face, I’m inspired and think to myself, she’s speaking what I feel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Nicole. You are a huge blessing in my life.
Truly appreciate you taking the time to create this excellent instructional makeup tutorial! Excellent and love the final product shown on you. Keep up the good work!!!
I just got back home from 2 weeks in Florida and omg it was hot! But-even though the humidity made my hair poof up into a hair ball, my skin loved it so much. Now I’m back in Colorado and the moisture is being sucked back out of my face. I loved this video! Thank you for all the great tips.
Your eyeshadow and lip color, in this video, are spectacularly beautiful! I love them. Your skin always looks radiant. Mine, not so much. I use your techniques daily, and they really help me to achieve a fresh and hydrated look to my skin. As always, many thanks for another great tutorial.

Thank you. I am 75 and appreciate those who don’t treat us seniors like we no longer exist.
You not only exist, but have great value, wisdom and we need your voice to teach those younger! God sees you...his beautiful creation!
Youth and young adults want to do and learn everything on their own. They don't want advice from older persons. Older persons are ignored in the workplace also.
Amen to that. I am 76. We have so much wisdom, but alas, are diminished in value.
Время летит так быстро! Мне недавно было 15, уже 45 и так же быстро будет 75.
I can not tell what my skin tone is. Blueish or reddish?
I am 78 and have always worn make-up, especially since I am so fair I look like I am ill without colour on my face. For the last two years I have had one illness after another. Heart problems, lung cancer, a growth on my kidney, and a broken ankle! My life has been turned upside down and I thought "why bother"
Your video has given me courage to pick myself up and carry on. 😊
Makeup can be a real mood lifter…you’ve been through so very much! Keep doing makeup…!!
You poor girl! Hope life looks up for you! Nikol always makes me feel better and I think you are doing the right thing making yourself look good.
I will keep you in my prayers!!
nothing to do with getting vaccinated?
I’m over 55 and I thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! I’m almost 50 with no children and feel like an old tissue that society wants nothing to do with. I needed your kind words today. Wishing you the best!
This single 60 year old babe thanks you, as well. We have wisdom, humor, life experience.
This is incredible thank you for sharing wow 104!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice to see someone mention beauty for 70+ women. Looking our best is not just for 20-40 year olds! In fact, I have more time + money + inclination for makeup, skincare, and curating my wardrobe now than ever before. And I’m looking good (even if I do say so myself! ) 😊
Good for you!
Yay I feel better about being me than I did twenty years ago too. 🎉 God bless you.
Me too!
Totally agree 👍
Yes thanks
I am soon to be 73 and my husband tells me every day how much he appreciates the fact that I take care of myself. Although I do it primarily for me, it means so much that he notices. Love you message, Nikol!
You have a good man. Mine just says “You look good for your age” and can’t understand why that’s not a compliment.
Ditto❤
@@dawn110 I had a boyfriend tell me I bet you were really good looking when you were young

Ahhhj! TY Nikol! Loved this! Been watching you for months! I'm 71 and my daughter was a makeup artist. Sadly, she passed away from breast cancer diagnosed while pregnant with her 2nd baby. My cancer came back to and I had a dbl mastectomy.

Fantastic segment! I am 71 and a former makeup artist. So...I love makeup and this tutorial for women over 70 hit home.

Love your perspective and truth! Thx
A little makeup doesn’t cancel out the happy you. 😉. I don’t do it to try deny my age. I find it fun to play around with and always trying new products. If someone is surprised by my age, that’s just a small bonus.
Exactly not spending time in the mirror
I think there are far too many ítems, repeating themselves on same areas of de skin. I Will need to invest a Lot o many to purchase all that pieces of make up. All I want Is to put a little bit of colour on my hace and look fresh. And do it in about 15 minutes only. 😢

I love it here. I'm usually not good with change, but a benefit of being retired is you can go wherever you want. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and I'm so glad I did!

I am widowed and just gave up on makeup but always get my nails done. Guess I should go back to makeup and hair styling. 🤔
@@carolsummers8734 This is making me think about doing a little more too. My eyebrows have almost disappeared, so I never fail to do them because I feel like I'm not awake without them.
Took an antihistamine; laid down with a cool washcloth on my eyes
and cancelled our plans. 😢 Hope you read this and consider making some products chamomile -free! 😀

Inevitably my students ask me "How old are you?"
I tell them 500 million years old!😂 I took your advice and ordered all of these makeup accouterments (sp)? and have not deployed them yet.
Thanks 😊
I’m 70 and I’m loving it! Thanks for the positive mantras!
Beautiful women in your family! I am 61 and feeling it. Covid battle for a month. Finally feeling better. But my skin has just been neglected and shows it. Thank you for the video.
Covid was shit for my skin, and grew a garden of wrinkles on my face and neck.
Vitamin C ampoules. Mary Kay has them.
I LOVE the dual concealer/lip brush. I can throw it in my purse!
Looks great! Being in your 70's doesn't mean closing your life chapter in terms of beauty. Women can be beautiful at any age.
Yes! I posted the same thing. I can’t even use a teensy dab.
Oh my goodness…how happy am I to have found you!!! I just turned 70, a silver curly girl. Two time breast cancer survivor and all the chemo and radiation does to a body and mindset. My brows are super thin and different shades of hair…white, black and a few others to boot. My eyes and brows are definitely sisters…
not twins. One eye is hooded the other not. I love, love, love your video, makeup for women in their 70’s…
how Grand to help us!!!
OHMYGOSH! I had no idea I was so old at 72! I don’t know whether to laugh or cry! That said, the look you created is lovely!
(Now 2024)
I have been so desparate for make up & skin care help.
Wow! Really pretty look today! I am going to explore that color corrector. Thanks for being positive about where we are in life! ❤️🌹

Your Mum is GORGEOUS without makeup and absolutely STUNNING with Makeup! Your Mum is elegant and beautiful; you’ve inherited good genes.
I am not 70 yet, and starting to make my routine simpler and natural with great brows and (as my daughters would say when they were young) beautiful lips. Been a subscriber for ages and need these videos more than ever to feel great when my make-up is on. Thanks!
Your advice on color correction has totally changed my look! I hardly use concealer any more and i look soooo much better!
I have learned so much from you! I agree, you don’t have to have a million skin products….as long as you have sensible skin care. I’m 50 and lucky to have Asian skin but your methods make me look even younger, thank you so much!
Do they come in shades for brown skin too. As I'm Indian and jewish mix. Can u send us a brochure priceless thanx
As a woman in her fifties, tired of content that isn't authenitc; thank you. Your inner beauty and confidence make you even more beautiful. Inspired
Thank you for the positive vibes for us older ladies..we need to hear this. So inspiring.
Hi Nikol! Your mom is a beautiful lady...like mother like daughter💖💖 Thank you for your channel and the helpful & affirming content!
