Stopped wearing makeup about 8 years ago because I simply didn't know what to do. Can't thank you enough, I'm 67 yrs old and look and feel better now than I have in years. Much of that I attribute to discovering you. Love your products, esp your lipsticks and eye primer. I'm a fan for life!

Great video...your presence is very positive. I'm 54 and in the past couple years was discouraged to stop highlighting my hair and let my natural sparklies come in. Also, the big push away from eyeliner for mature women is unfortunate and your technique is proof of that. Thank you so much for your attitude toward aging, as it should be celebrated, not everyone gets the opportunity to do so.
I love how she says "over 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90"... Old age is the longest period of our lives!
You could potentially have a 40-year old, her mother, grandmother and even great-grandmother doing anti-aging together!😆
Nikol - thank you so much for this. I will be 70 on New Years Eve this year. Ten years ago I stopped wearing makeup and I think I would like to wear it again, but I’ve forgotten how and it doesn’t look as natural as I would like. Three years ago i let my hair go silver, white and charcoal. I recently got it cut like yours. Its not as thick as yours, but I watched your video on how to get more volume, and it worked amazingly well. Thank you so much for all of your tips. You are the soul of elegance. 💖
Love the explanation of the color correcting. I’ve never had much luck with concealer which seems to be pretty heavy. Some great uplifting tips! Thank you!
I was fortunate because I worked for Clinique when I was 22-23. I’m now almost 58 & my skin still looks good. I can’t stand not to exfoliate but it’s less intense now that I’m older. I use baby oil to remove my makeup, then I use face cloths to cleanse it off or tissue it off. Cetaphil is the best cleanser.
I’m just about to turn 60, and I’m a makeup and skincare junky. I just found your channel and I LOVE it!! You’re beautiful and informative.
That was fantastic Nikol. This has encouraged me and invigorated me to pay a little bit more attention to makeup tricks for us mature ladies. I’m 51 and I’m struggling with letting go of the old ways and changing my tools and application. I think I’ll change my black eyeliner to chocolate one!
I gave up black a while ago. I use dark brown or charcoal grey. Occasionally, burgundy or navy blue.
I do tint my lashes black, but it's a very subtle effect. No mascara.
Nikol, I watched this video when it first came out and just now re-watched it. It's simply the very best information and presentation of makeup application/technique I have ever seen anywhere. Decades ago, in my early 20’s in Paris I met an 80 y/o woman who looked not a day over 45. She told me that she’d had a compounding pharmacist make sunblock moisturiser for her since she was a young woman, well before SPF in makeup was a thing. I’ve used sunblock religiously since then and was mistaken for 35 well into my 50’s. Unfortunately, gravity eventually wins 🤷🏻♀️. For young women out there, use SPF every day. It really makes a difference. (Also, no skin cancer, which is nice.)

A tip for coloring grays in the eyebrows: I use Just For Men/Just Five Minutes beard color/dye! It’s so affordable and works perfectly! I don’t have my brows tinted anymore, I just do it myself!
My stylist told me about this and I do it too! It’s easy and wonderful!

Nicol…..not all your viewers can afford to spend 72.00 on a quencher. Please do a video on drugstore less costly skincare products. Many of us are older (80 yrs for me) and on fixed incomes and cannot afford the high end skincare products.
I agree that is pricey but if you search her videos she offers many drug store price friendly options. She does a lot of the fierce aging and you can great cost product tips from those as well
She has lots of videos of drugstore makeup.
I've seen videos about it, drustore products that work as well. Watch her prior videos.
I’ve seen her using drug store products.. Pat one way you can get access to expensive products at a low cost is by doing a beauty subscription. I do Boxycharm, which just merged with Ipsy as one site. You can do a base box which is around $25 a month and you get 5 products. These products include anything from a $125 moisturizer to a $40-60 eyeshadow palette. You can go on their website or instagram page to see what brands they have, and their always adding more brands. I’ve been doing two boxes a month for two years , and just had to buy a 9 drawer chest and a makeup vanity to keep all my products in. I love it!

If course I loved all the tips. I’ve been using your eye liner technique & the lip liner technique! I have the heated lash curler, but haven’t used it in a while, but I really see the difference it makes. Will make time to use it again! Thanks again for the awesome videos.
Can attest to Just Peachy. I don’t have dark circles but Just Peachy brightens and opens the eye area. It is harmonious with my foundation. So good, I don’t use concealer anymore!

I recently started using color correctors again, especially for some redness around my nose, some hyperpigmentation as I age - and i have been getting so many compliments on my complexion and how it looks clearer. Even my husband brought it up, asking what am i doing to my face as my complexion looks so nice.
PS, no more "spots" lol

I just came across your videos, really beautiful makeup and tips. Do you ever present anything for African American women or darker skin tones, particularly with gray hair? I'd love to see the color choices and techniques you'd recommend for the same soft, natural makeup looks for mature women with darker skin. If that's not your expertise, I get it... but I really love the soft, daytime looks you've featured.
Hi Nikol, Love you. I'm 71 and I've been taking care of my skin for 20 years now. My skin tone is olive. My skin regimen takes about 5 minutes morning and evening plus 15 minutes 3 times per week. Anyway thank you for your informative videos,💓🌺🙏💋

You’re tutorials are great! Do you happen to have a tutorial that you have done on a person with warm skin tones using your products? I have pronounced cheek bones but a drop off to my eye sockets which always look like dark circles. Love all your product suggestions!

Your techniques have upd my looks and confidence
I'm over 70. And I tend towards drier skin, I've used argan oil for a decade on my face. What are your thoughts on that? It can be a touch oily feeling at first but it absorbs in quickly on me and makes my face feel really moist.

I just started watching your channel, and I’m addicted! I have learned a lot from you. I will be 65 in a few months, and for the most part I’m happy with my appearance. I stopped coloring my hair eight months ago, and love the silver streaks that are showing through my dark brown hair! I’m lucky to have very minimal lines and wrinkles anywhere on my face… other than the marionette lines which are horrible. Do you have any advice on how to minimalism or conceal them? Thank you for all of your great advice!

I was wondering if you could advise me how to do my eye makeup. In the last few years, my eye lid above the crease and nearest my nose has become puffy and droopy. I can can only find make up application tricks for eye lids that are puffy and droopy on the outer portion of the eye. Thank you Nikol

What if we have upper lip lines and in the bottom lip?
What about wrinkles around my eyes and mouth, regarding concealer? I am 79 years of age, have fair skin and have droopy eyelids and laugh lines plus lines under my eyes., Whenever I have applied concealer, it makes my wrinkles look more noticeable. What do you suggest I use?
