I played one of these at a gaming event running the Formula 1 codemasters game. They did a PC giveaway for the fastest lap, and there were only 2 other people at the time trying to set it so I got a couple hours play on this thing and it was probably the closest feeling thing to being in a real Formula 1 car but without the Gforces. Moving platforms are nice, but if you use VR, the motion of tilting back to simulate acceleration, needs to be compensated in your VR game, otherwise your view will go up each time you accelerate. Not sure what games have this compensation

There are tons of better rigs for 1/3 of the price. This company sells a rig for 15k and puts in a base fanatec csl. I'd rather put a simucube and decent PC with vr or 3 screens with a decent customized rig.
Many think this is mad expensive, silly and all that. But remember that a real gt-spec car alone will cost some 400k. And that's without maintenance, parts, fuel and all that stuff.
