I enjoyed your comparison between the units and am interested to know how the tests would have worked out at maybe a shallower depth but with a much smaller piece perhaps. 0.5g as that is more like the nugget size that we pick up although I would not mind if they were bigger. I am impressed with the modded 5000. Thanks Pete
Where the 7000 will out do the 5000 is on small gold at depth. I have a Link Technology modded 5000 and love it. I won’t find enough gold that the 5000 missed where I hunt here in California to justify a buying a 7000.
Hi there My son has a 5000 and seems to have some troubles getting the best settings. What would you recommend as a general setting with a 14 inch minelab coil.
The zed in normal would great I have done more tests and the zed you can operate it in normal but you have to be in extra deep which quietness the ground then put sensitivity on 17 .big difference
Great exercise video! And 7min 3 secs mark hilarious. Thanks for sharing your knowledge again.
Sounded good 👍 Steel 😢damn !

With this set up I’m not chasing sub gram pieces .I realise there are lots more of those I’m chasing over 1 gram stuff .
Who wants sub grammes when there are big chunks waiting to be found

If he’s having trouble with noise set audio to quiet and lift gain
Bugga - had plenty of those - i wished you tried the Z in Normal / General lower sensitivity? Maybe next time?

7000 need to use Normal instead of difficult with the 17x13 coil. It's quieter and goes much deeper.
Ground is too hot to run normal . I wish I could run normal it would kill
I turn off the threshold and run sensitivity at 6 in hot ground. Works a treat.
@@metaldetectingfun I’ll give it a try Thanks
Any chance you could provide the settings for the 5000 during this test comparison? Thanks for posting the test.
are you using wireless connectors? anyway you got some good exercise even though it was metal
I sometimes run the pro sonic on the 5000 and yes I do dig some deep holes . Hopefully sooner or later it’ll be a 20 oumcer 🤞
What modifications are made to the machine and who had done it?
Mods are by detectronics Australia in Dunolly . Look at other videos with mods
@@eurekagold thank you 👍
What battery you using on the side of the 5?
It’s a regulated battery . Detectronics Australia make them .I got this as it’s lighter and smaller. I can also use it on a minelab 2200 at 7.3 volts
What level Mod is it please
Your detecting in the base of an old lead, the target was very predictable but I watched it to get your view time hours up

Дуже гарні металошукачі , але дуже дорогі у нас з такими не копають.
