  • The modified sdc and gpx5000 tested on the same target in both standard and modified settings. The coil used on the gpx is a 12x8" Nugget Finder evolution coil.

All's I could hear was him grinding the coil in the gravel.

Hi, been watching a few of your videos. When do think you'll start doing Mods on the SDC for customers?
    Cheers

I wish I could give a solid answer on that! Since this video was taken we went into lockdown. In the mean time I have moved house and am playing catch up now. Once our wireless batteries are back on the shelf I'll have a bit more time for testing/refining the SDC mods.

One would think so Brett, but as is clearly demonstrated in the video, when the detectors are set to standard they do not detect the piece of gold. I was most disappointed in the performance of the sdc and that is one of the many reasons I don't offer sdc modifications. If you are ever near Dunolly, Vic and would like to come past and verify that standard settings on the modified 5000 perform exactly the same as a standard 5000 detector on undisturbed in ground targets, you are more than welcome.
