GPX 6000 vs SDC 2300 testing - good ground noise examples

Made this video testing out the sounds between the GPX 6000 and the SDC 2300. People have described the 6000 as being an SDC on steroids, this is fairly true being that you will find targets the SDC has left behind. However with are a few things with the 6000 to be aware of. It does not like wet ground, if the ground is wet you will get some great sounding signals that turn out to just disappear, but you must dig them to be sure. The 6000 will give signals from charcoal. There are a few great examples of ground noise in this video, first time using this editing program on this video to join them, i hope you enjoy it :)

Notice the tiny eliptical coil on SDC and large round coil on 6000. Coil's detection depth is proportional to its width so the big round coil has a depth advantage in size as well as shape. Please post a video comparing the 6000 and the 2300 using coils equal in size and sensitivity.

I've worn out 3 sdc2300 s I heard all targets I use a 10x5 and spo1 enhancer with head phones and it works brilliant. Was considering a 6000 but I honestly don't see that much difference.for $8500 .I have owned every detector from minlab since 1990 .I'm still trying to make sence of the 6000

the 6000 ? what makes it popular ? the target signal is louder ( can be done with SPO1) and it is lighter and well balanced, But that will cost you 8 grand WTF

With you 6000 you have it running sweet as so why don’t you show the viewers how you achieved the settings you have the detector set on in the ground you are working..? You said that noise is ground noise but believe me that is sweet as. Come to WA and hear ground noise it will blow you away if the hot rocks don’t first send you around the bend.

You haven’t done justice with the 2300 at all , different coil size for starters no headphone either with the 2300 total waste of valuable time is my thinking …. You can have your 6000

Easy fix about coil ware..... 100mph duct tape. also works for coil edges ..... cost approx 30c per season.😉
