finally a proper depth test same target at various depths.
Thanks Phil
Very accurate testing. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thanks for the vid. Quite informative ☺
Glad it was helpful!
Which one is better for depth? gpx 6000 or gpx 5000
Can you do the Minelab GPX 5000 depth test
Thanks, i like your approach how you demonstrate the noise over nearby ground vs signal over the target.
I've searched your channel for the mentioned 7000 test, could not find much. Have u yploaded it yet?
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Dmitry - we will be uploading that video soon, it is just getting edited up. Make sure you Subscribe to be notified as soon as it drops
Thank you for all of your hard work to make these videos.
So, you repeatedly say this video is about how deep the GPX 6000 will detect 1 gram bullion buried at different depths. If you are using “standard” settings I have to assume that means Auto 1/Difficult with threshold turned on which is the most tame/lame setting on the 6000 and will not give one a true picture of how deep each coil will go.
What are the non lame settings to make it punch deep Jeff?
@@topdeckdog Default is setting 11 “Auto” which is equivalent to setting 2 or 3 with no threshold tone. Setting 12 “Auto+” or manual settings 4 through 10 are much more powerful than default “Auto”
What settings are you using
Thank you for this test. It was very informative. I have both the GPZ 7000 and GPX 6000. You mention a similar test with the GPZ 7000. Was it also with 1 gram bars? I can't find that test.
Hi Chet - Yes that video of the similar test with the GPZ 7000 is will be posted in a few weeks we are still putting the finishing touches on the editing. We also do the test on the SDC 2300 (also coming very soon) so be sure to subscribe to be notified of the upcoming videos
I agree.
I would like to see the Minelab GPX 6000, compared to the Garrett ATX, can you do this, thanks.
Great suggestion! Thanks for that. We'll include that in our future filming lists. :)
I would like to see the 6000 up against the Garrett's atx, can you do this comparison, I think you would be surprised. The ATX is one of the most underrated detectors on the market.
I have both and the GPX6000 flogs it in both physical weight and outright sensitivity.
What settings are you using at each depth and for all coils
Hi Peter we are using the standard settings of the machine. The ones you get when you turn the machine on and do the standard ground test. So there is no tweeking of settings.
what is special about this new machine I heard it has new technology ? Please reply me
Hi Ali, The GPX 6000 is the newest in the minlab fleet of high end gold detectors. Here is a full video review we did on the last 3 latest minelab detectors - ruclips.net/p/PLrQxkgcXgn_VEwbmjKou_hDFs3iUEBhu3 also if you would like to see more videos on the GPX 6000 here is a link to a playlist of videos we have on that detector, including finding gold with it and what it sounds like. ruclips.net/p/PLrQxkgcXgn_VEwbmjKou_hDFs3iUEBhu3 . If you have any other questions please let us know
Depends on the coil, put a 42 inch coil on it and see how deep it goes lol
Was the machine in different or normal? Sounds like it’s in normal..makes the whole test pretty pointless if you don’t say as majority of people will be in areas the 6 only operates in difficult
That 6 is running very noisy mate
Not sure if I get it you pay $8000 for a gpx6000 and put a small coil on it just buy a sdc2300 half the price no probs with emis and find the same gold
We’re you doing this in difficult or normal ? Would of been good to see the settings etc where I am we can run in normal and that’s way deeper than difficult here
I thought its a depth test, but its a sound test.
Hiy
htyezurnem
As most detectorist no it’s all about coil size the bigger the coil the deeper it goes however the smaller the coil the better it is on smaller gold not rocket science
First! 😁🤘🇵🇭
Thanks :)
