    Both the 4500 and the Axiom did so well being handicapped by the DD coils yet still keeping up, if they had a mono on, I'm guessing it would have changed the results a lot, My guess is the 4500 would be the winner, The 6000 from what I've been able to see in my testing is not a deep machine so the Axiom would likely come second. But then if reality kicks in the 4500 can run huge coils, there are 36" coils made for it, so when it comes to big deep targets out of the three it's always going to be the winner.

      Yea totally agree on the 4500/500 with big coils being deeper on the big deep targets. Unfortunately, I didn't have any big mono coils to test on the 4500.

    Nice video, some of my 6000 friends said it wast really a ron jeremy detector, bit bamgs on small gold. I retired my sdc2300 and ended up gettimg the axiom, i must say i really like that machine, i favor the 11dd coil for its sub grain gold capabilities but also decent on depth, with the 13 coil in my bad. I dont really swing my 7000 that much amymore. For the terrain i detect in the axiom does pretty well for me.

    All the slugs were lo/hi tones .....but the 6K barely heard the .95 with the bigger coil. interesting. Were those all mono coils with exception of the 14x16 axiom

      Yea, I was surprised by that as well. 4500 mono 11, DD 15". 6000 both mono. Axiom both DD

    Thanks for putting this video together, really was a good comparison of the three detectors. I have been curious on how these detectors would perform on the larger nuggets. Seems all three detectors did fairly close on those targets with the available coils used. Were any of these coils spiral wound?

    • @RelicsRings
      @RelicsRings  9 месяцев назад

      Only the 15" DD used on the 4500 was spiral wound. I'm betting a spiral wound mono on the 4500 would have done much better. But I don't have one I could try.

    Would be great to see the 14x9 coil tek oval on the 6k. My favorite unless going for very small then the 5x10 coil tek is the pick.

      @chrisc8856 unfortunately I don't have the 14x9 otherwise I would have included it.

    So which is the best machine for looking for bigger nuggets at max depth?

    • @RelicsRings
      @RelicsRings  4 месяца назад +1

      @PhaseSkater from what I've been seeing I'd go with either the 5000 and a big mono coil or the Axiom with the 14x16 mono

      @@RelicsRings everyone keeps telling me to get the 6000 and I know it picks up really small pickers but when I’m detecting I’m pretty much only hunting for gram size nuggets. Half a gram in size is on the lowest end of acceptable nuggets for me

      7000) на счет аксиома не знаю, но 6000 это игрушка. Просто 1000чник на максималках. Не внятный, не понятный, да, мелочь щелкает хорошо, но сигнал на все плюс минус один и тот же...

    They say the axiom performs about as well as gpx. What about on brass? I know the weight savings is a big benefit over gpx

      I haven't tried deep buttons yet. But I would assume they would be pretty close to the same in performance.

    Does the Axiom threshold always drift that much? Is there any way to adjust it so that it's smoother?

    • @RelicsRings
      @RelicsRings  3 месяца назад

      @diggingwithphasetech it really just depends on EMI in the area. This particular site was across the raod from a military base. Most places I can ge it pretty smooth

    In your opinion, would you use one of these machines looking for artillery shells and cannonballs on a Civil War site? I’ve already currently dug a cannonball and a confederate artillery shell at almost 3 feet deep with the XP deus 2 with a 9”inch coil. Just not sure how much deeper I want to dig stuff.😂 mainly because I don’t want to dig a bunch of junk iron targets in the process. I value your opinion because of all your experience👌🏼 Thanks

    • @RelicsRings
      @RelicsRings  8 месяцев назад

      Yes any of the 3 I would use for artillery shells. But if you're already digging them that deep with the D2 and don't want to dig deeper, I would just stick with the Deus.

      When you're hunting for gold or deep targets it is. 3 seconds from one side to the other is my sweep speed. Then I slow down even more over a possible target.
