Exactly these shows now days aren’t even funny like the carrol burnet show comedians aren’t even funny nowadays like back then and prior to carrol burnet show
No? He was hysterical and did a lot of funny work! I’m surprised you didn’t s know that. He was known for his comedy style, not just singing. Look on RUclips for his comedy work. You will love it I promise! There’s a lot of his comedy work out there with many different shows! I’m sure you’ll find a lot of different shows he was on! He was fantastic in everything he did no matter how old he was, the man was amazing no matter what he did, singing, dancing, acting, you name it. He was multi talented!he was on the Cosby show also, but as an acting gig. I believe his long lost granddaughter was having a baby and he was needed to help his daughter out, but he couldn’t read so dr husxtable had a grand ol time with him in that show. See if you can find that show and look for that specific show in the series. I know you’re going to enjoy it throughly! Have fun hope you find more of him to watch and enjoy! The man was an amazing artist!!
Loved him on Gimme a break when Nell Carter literally picked him up like a child🤣Their duet was timeless❤️RIP to 2 great artists that made us laugh and swoon to their 🎼
Man Sammy and Tim were incredible in this one!! Can’t get this kind of funny today! They were just wonderful!! I wish Carol could’ve gotten Sammy and Jerry Lewis together on her show.
Sad. It could never be done today. People are too triggered. I remember though. Saturday nights on CBS All in the Family The Jeffersons Mary Tyler Moore Bob Newhart Carol Burnet Absolutely Gold👍🏿💯
Kiwihib, Norman Lear himself has said that his shows like All in the Family could never be produced today because what was considered to liberal 50 years ago does not exist today. I am 76 years old and seen the definition of liberalism change, and not in a good way.
Nappy poos in the afternoons! What a great job he did as a fairy guy! lol he had the best smile!! So big and bright. I’m sure he had false teeth, but damn they were great!! And that wig was hysterical! You could tell he was having a great time doing that skit!
That's cuz it wasn't totally far fetched. He was sexually fluid and had an affair with LINDA LOVELACE and her husband. He was a small guy who looked fetching in the little lord Fauntleroy garb!
I had forgotten how damned funny Sammy Davis Jr. could be. He was such a fantastic singer and dancer. But back the day those guys could do it all. Act, sing and dance comedy they could do it all!
I have seen a lot recent shows / comedies/ musical performances. On a scale of 1 -100 I would give the new stuff ? On the other hand I would give this 98 1/2 . Thank you for a laugh and a smile !
I loved so much about Carol Burnett show, that they would be cracking up out of charachter during skits-; and that Carol Burnett never was disrespectful to anyone, gay straight, Black white, and all the in betweens. What axl remarkable show!! Harvey Corman and Tim Conway joined at the hip in their love of improv as it is known today. Bless Carol Burnett. I knew she was a star when I first saw her on the Jack Parr show. I was quite little. What a generous talent!
Sammy is so brilliant and fully, I met him twice after his Broadway Show, Golden Boy...that beautiful voice is real, and his glass eye is disturbing close up.
I love Sammy Davis Jr. He was great on All In The Family too. He kissed Archie Bunker on the lips. On The Carol Burnett Show, they were always laughing. The old shows were magnificent!
But yet all Three of them are actually gone to the great acting in the sky. Great comedians in their own heyday, Tim Conway was actually the best thing ever to destroy poor Harvey Korman he never hold it from laughing hysterically.
I swear🤩This is the first time I’ve ever seen Davis speak and act 😅 I heard his awesome songs and saw his rat pack pictures (this is solely an offense on account of my generation gap). What a treat this is! I’m dying 😂 He is hilarious!!

Saturday night live could never hold a candle to the Carol Burnette Show.
Exactly these shows now days aren’t even funny like the carrol burnet show comedians aren’t even funny nowadays like back then and prior to carrol burnet show
Oh the good ol' days when comedy was funny!!!
I never realized Sammy was such a funny funny man. He looked like he was having a ball 😊
He was hilarious on the Carol Burnett shows. I remember seeing him sing and dance but also a part of their funny skits. He was so talented
Sammy Davis was the most talented member of the Rat Pack. He has been performing since he was a little boy.

Sammy was hilarious. So was Dean Martin.
Tim Conway made everybody lose it all the time.
My two favorite entertainers are Sammy Davis jr and Carrol Burnett.
“It’s really been tacky what you’ve been doing!” 😂😂😂
His smile was unbelievable
and pounding of his feet when h e laughed.. exaggerated and always made me smile.
Sure was. Dentures after the road crash that took his eye also.
One of the few times I’ve seen Tim Conway break character so fast
Sammy Davis had many talents. Tim Conway an Harvey Korman too! Masters!
I've never seen Tim laugh and smile like that in a skit. This was GENIUS! 😂
😊
THE BEST!😅
@@kathrynmeetz7275 💯 🤣
@@kathrynmeetz7275 💯 🤣
Are you kidding? Tim lost it in most skits.
What is lost in all of these skits is how athletic Tim Conway was.
"Me hearties!" 😂
Better by far than the goat tripe on TV today. 👍Post
Man Sammy and Tim were incredible in this one!! Can’t get this kind of funny today! They were just wonderful!! I wish Carol could’ve gotten Sammy and Jerry Lewis together on her show.
Sad. It could never be done today.
People are too triggered. I remember though.
Saturday nights on CBS
All in the Family
The Jeffersons
Mary Tyler Moore
Bob Newhart
Carol Burnet
Absolutely Gold👍🏿💯
@@mananimal3644 Who would be triggered as I major leftie I laughed at most of these shows when shown in my country.
@@mananimal3644 You do know, don't you, that Norman Lear is one radical lefty.
Kiwihib,
Norman Lear himself has said that his shows like All in the Family could never be produced today because what was considered to liberal 50 years ago does not exist today. I am 76 years old and seen the definition of liberalism change, and not in a good way.
Sammy was amazing. His guest appearance on All in the Family is legendary.
Bringing smiles to people is truly noble work. These guys were masters of the trade.
I love when the skids for so funny that they were cracking each other up. I think they had a lot of fun doing that to each other😅😅😅
Such wonderful talented actors and writers will never be here again, I'm afraid. So fortunate it's on film.
caroll pulling on her ear, thank you beautiful people for spreading love
The water squirt got me 😅 🤪🫶
It appears that ol' Harvey got Tim to break character and laugh this time. 😄
So did Sammy!
Nappy poos in the afternoons! What a great job he did as a fairy guy! lol he had the best smile!! So big and bright. I’m sure he had false teeth, but damn they were great!! And that wig was hysterical! You could tell he was having a great time doing that skit!

You didn't see Tim crack very often. This was. great.
Three legends having fun making people laugh which is why this skit has aged so well.
The outfit soots Sammy well .
When Sammy said, "tacky, tacky, tacky" the prisoner behind them is trying to hold in a laugh!
I had forgotten how damned funny Sammy Davis Jr. could be. He was such a fantastic singer and dancer. But back the day those guys could do it all. Act, sing and dance comedy they could do it all!
