I learned a lot! I was debating a 3 wt 10' or a 4 wt 10' and now I'm realizing that where I am in NY the 3 wt will serve me just fine!

Most #3's will turn heads of fish up to 3 pound. Once you start going above that the Primal Zone #4 will cover everything else.

Not sure which impressed me more your Mountain Goat like ability to stay upright or the whopping rainbow trout. Thanks for the feature.

Nice video. I finally see someone who wades like me -- always falling forward! I've bashed my knuckles on rocks so many times. I guess I'm always so excited to get to the next cast that I go a little too fast. Lots of boulders and rocks in our Sierra Nevada rivers and creeks, too.

I'm confused on the "blood knot". In America, that is called a "clinch knot" and the "blood knot" is when you tie 2 pieces of line together.
    Great video!

That is a tough river to wade! Good god, man. Huge boulders, strong currents, then when he went downstream after that fish - I would've went down for sure. LOL. I would've chased that fish too, btw. Beautiful.

Dang the abuse that Lamson reel has seen is a real testament to it's durability as a cast aluminum reel I have the Lamson remix reel that uses the liquid spools but with a CNC aluminum body

What regulations are you talking about ? I have fished al lot of competittions. I fished the world championship in Bosnië a couple of years ago. According to fips mouche regulations we could not use a leader, more than twice the rod length. And with leader they ment the piece between flyline and fly. The clear segment is also something i've never heard of..🤔 Nice video by the way😎👍
